The price just after the fork is very hard to guess, but my opinion is that it will become just another random altcoin, exactly like bitcoin cash.
And most people will probably sell it immediately to get some free real Bitcoins, which will not help the price to go up Smiley Unless there's some artificial pump of course.
This actually happens with most of the altcoins. If you just learn about it, you will get to know that there are so many altcoins that are still roaming around $100 and see the bitcoin, where it is going. So things are little offensive on altcoins. So they don’t make the market up and thus become less in numbers and fame. But hope they will get better sometime.

I think it will be shorter than bitcoin cash but I don't understand this fork bullshit coins. I doubt there are people who really invest in them long term.

Do we know if Bittrex will treat their online wallets similarly to the way they handled the bitcoin cash split?

I think it'll end up like bitcoin cash pretty worthless when people realize bitcoin will still be the main currency

The price will depend upon what miners agree upon. BCH was given any random price and luckily was able to sustain that value
Similarly, Bitcoin Gold will be allotted a random value and future price will depend on holders when coin will become tradable. As for starting price, I think it will be more than BCH.

I dont think that bitcoin Gold will be a big think after the fork. Maybe we see some action and a hype after the fork, but it will never be better than the original bitcoin!  Grin

It's just another shitcoin/Bitcoin clone that offers no intrinsic value except for some vague attempt to solve mining centralization (which is more decentralized than it was 2-3 years ago).
No one seems to be paying attention to it, my guess would be much smaller.
S2X might be bigger than Bitcoin Cash, but this? lol.

i'll take it but all these forks and clones are getting hard to keep up with.
i think they are trying to kill btc. death by a thousand cuts.
Dunno how often btc already died.
Wanna see how they will sell bitcoingold, as of now i don't see many exchanges writing anything about it. So meh wont be the same as cash or 2x in november.

yea literally everyone thought the same when BTC fork BCH , but look at it right now . freefood = trash lol dumppp it.
Number 4 marketcap . peak at 1400$ and 920$ ( ~15 billions cap )
Everyone considers split coins to be junk coins. At first everyone gets it for free then all sell it as a dumper. After that everyone was sorry and the price increased dramatically. I can not guess the bitcoin gold would be like BCH. just expose some experience and hope will be like BCH.

It seems to me that Bitcoin Gold will not be as popular as Bitcoin Cash. Users are not interested in this. The speculators have a lot of coins on which they can earn. Why would they need one more?

It doesn't really matter how big market cap it has. The most important thing is that nobody is using it, because it's useless crap, good only for speculation. No userbase, no development.

I'd say it will be bigger than Bitcoin Cash beause f course it will be "more advanced" than that of Bitcoin Cash plus the name that has gold on it. But just like Bitcoin Cash, I'm sure people will just dispose the coin right after they get it for free.
