After trump win in us elections bitcoin price reaching to all time  high. Now more people adopting bitcoin as a payment option for international transfers.
You will see lots of people entering the crypto space whenever there is an increase in bitcoin price, what’s when most people are always having interest in bitcoin, they are always having confidence in bitcoin during that period, and everyone will want to invest in bitcoin, and different companies will start adopting bitcoin as a payment method, but it’s always difficult to hear things like this during a bear market.

Most people don’t even know they are suppose to start investing in bitcoin during the bear season, and during a bull run, you can just sell, but most people do buy when the bitcoin price is already going up, and after buying, and there is a slight drop in bitcoin price, most of them will panic and sell at a loss, all they want is for bitcoin price to be increasing.

During my time using the forum, I have seen many accounts on a regular basis that raise questions and yours has joined the list. You joined in October 2023 and have made just three posts in the 14 months since you registered. That does not really demonstrate any accuracy towards what you stated about hoping to learn as well as increase your knowledge.
Good point, to learn something we have to dedicate time and with consistency we can learn anything but 14 months to learn the rules of the forum and what BTC is and how the whole digital crypto ecosystem works is more than enough. I think he might not have enough time to learn, as he mentioned his job ate all his time, or he just created the topic to show himself as a newbie and then work on here. There can be any possibility, IYK. I don't want to make any accusations, hehe.

I hope he will do well here and with time will be an asset to the community too. I have seen an outstanding increase in the Nigerian community, which is appreciable.

Hello Community!

I hope I learn something new here about BTC, though I got some little knowledge already but I want to increase my knowledge about BTC going forward.

After registering my account on this platform I haven't been this active on this platform because my job usually don't give me much of time, but recently I changed my job and I'm really happy I will be spending some time here now.

Please 🙏 I  would love if you guys give me some tips on how to navigate my journey here, and get to understand Bitcoin better.
I don't know how difficult it is to learn bitcoin on your own, or how the forum works. But I was just explained to about bitcoin and the forum just one day and I started. I started in a good note, I learnt many things and there are even more things I don't know.
I assure you that all you need is time and patience to read posts in this forum you will learn many things. For now I have enough time and I use it to read about bitcoin. You can visit the technical discussion board you will learn many things about bitcoin. Don't ask too many questions because people can just accuse you and make others to believe their accusations.

Yeah. Some people are not fast learners though, so it will be a gradual process for him in the forum; he doesn’t have to rush before he learns in the forum; he can be reading other people's posts; he doesn’t have to be posting or creating threads as you said because it will be of no meaning, and that will no help him in the forum.

However, since he is just a beginner, I think the technical discussion board will be a kind of difficult board for him. The beginners and help board is where he should focus at this moment because everything he wants as a beginner has been posted here.

If you want to know more about Bitcoin on how to navigate your journey through you will need to be consistent in the forum there are also some good thread here that you can learn more about Bitcoin.

But one your must understand is that Bitcoin is a volatile asset is not a get rich quick scheme where you invest today and expect millions tomorrow, Bitcoin investment is a long time investment that is if you want to be successful your mindset should to accumulate Bitcoin and HODL for long probably 4-10 and above. As a new investor you can accumulate Bitcoin through the DCA strategy with this strategy you can accumulate more Bitcoin regularly it could be weekly or monthly irrespective of the price of Bitcoin and continue to hodl.

You should make provision for emergency fund reserve and also your discretionary income so you won't sell out your Bitcoin hodling due to some unforeseen circumstances which may occur.

Op, we are all adults here, and we can easily tell when someone is saying a lie. Stop using your job as an excuse why you aren't active in the forum because I know that story line is fake. Op, you were just procrastinating learning about bitcoin, and that's the reason why you were finding it hard to be active in the forum even when you have been in the forum for up to a year plus. The recent increase in bitcoin price changed your mind to start learning about bitcoin now because you are afraid of missing out on bitcoin. Since you have seen what bitcoin can possibly do, I will advise you to be serious with yourself this time and focus on learning about bitcoin so that there will not be any future regret.

Isn't it unfair to conclude that Op was just unserious during his absence? Let give him a benefit of doubt for once because we don't know the nature of his job. I think even some reputable members on the forum do take a break some time to face some more challenging things other than always being active on the forum.

By the way, Op what's the correlation between your topic and the content of your post? Please make a perfect topic for your thread when next you are posting so it will align with each other. Glad to see you back here and willing to learn. There's no need to rush into any investment. Take your time to study the forum by reading the suggested thread in the first reply on this thread. Learning about bitcoin requires time and patience because you might lose your asset for slight mistakes.

OP, I hope that you are serious on learning like you said and not because you feel bitcoin price is increasing and you thought about it. Take your time in studying the article provided for you above, and learn on your own for fast growth in bitcoin knowledge. Only invest with an amount of money that you can afford to lose and do it smartly by keeping your bitcoin in a noncustodial wallet and not in an exchange.

Everyone have been picking interest in investing in bitcoin because of the increase that have been happening recently and if you look at it, they want the money but they don't want to learn, and everyone have to be ready to learn and they need to perfectly prepare before even engaging their is a lot of things behind it is just not about investment alone, you have to be mentally prepared and this knowledge is not somthing that you will rush it is better to take your time to learn and improve you can not learn everything in one day so is better to just involve yourself with people that are also knowledge.

And they always think that people that are already involve in bitcoin are lucky not knowing that they have also paid there own price before they start enjoying so no matter how good you are you must pay that price, and the only way that you youescape from this reality is to have enough knowledge, and their is a stage you will get to that you will lose money but with the right knowledge you will care.

And their is need to try to keep your assets safe because this period their is a lot of scams no so it's a period to be very careful, keep your seed phrase safe and others.

Welcome to the forum. Since you already know little about bitcoin, it will be easier for you to compare to anyone who is just starting from scratch.

Since you are willing to learn, first start by familiarising yourself with the forum rules and regulations:
Unofficial list of (official) Bitcointalk.org rules, guidelines, FAQ
Then check:   Newbies - Read before posting

Although you're undoubtedly right JollyGood, Let's give the boy the benefit of the doubt Wink

I guess that after the last ATH and all the FOMO he may have changed his mind and come with renewed energy. In the end, the best time to interest on Bitcoin was back in 2009, but as it is already impossible, the next best moment is today.

OP, don't lose faith and keep your mind positive, as your nickname says, so you don't have to regret it again in 10 years.

You're free to browse the forum as a guest wherever, however, and anytime you want. You read the topics that you are interested with, so you'll gain the ideas from those that you're reading. And with the problem that you've mentioned that you don't have much time, start to manage your time and maybe that's all you need to do for now, and that's time management. I believe that you can do that if you set your priorities and a few minutes of reading here won't probably take that much of your time.

Why you cant do or be active on forum during that time? Was the job  is that hard that you cant visit or maybe engage few post in a week or a day so. Some people here got tigjt job too but be able to cope being in here. Users must show their interest somehow, but of course giving you a benefit of the doubt maybe this time youll be more active than your early registration phase.

Let's start from your title. Firstly the statement to a nice extent doesn't seem right especially to me because bitcoin has never stopped growing. Now saying bitcoin has been growing recently seems like viewing bitcoin like some meme coin that pumped simply because of the opportunity of the bull we are still experiencing. If you as me, the growth of bitcoin was quite slow from its launch but the rate rapidly increased after Satoshi disappeared.

Also op, the forum wouldn't want to seem interested in your personal things as infact there is literally no need to share them. Growing on this forum is simply a choice and it's much easier if you are familiar with tech stuff and practice important things. It's not necessarily all about reading but also applying it.

The local section will be more welcomed and more understanding of your financial/functional problem, especially since many of the accounts use the same style to beg Merits. At the present time, given the change of bitcoin, you will need to learn the technical basics and then how to invest smartly.

Be committed. You've created your account for quite a while now and with this activity,  it doesn't show any form of commitment. I also have a job outside of this forum, but I try to read latest updates from forum members here and contribute in ongoing discussions where neccessary. If you do not stay committed, you will keep giving reasons why you have not yet learnt alot about Bitcoin and ofcourse this forum since you joined us here. You can do better, follow up discussions in the bitcoin discussion board, Development and Technical Discussion board and Bitcoin Technical support to learn more about bitcoin. Do not forget to stick around the Beginners and help board too. With consistency, you will grow.
