It's no news that a lot of youths are invested in crypto trading, as a matter of fact, it is regarded as the new goldmine. Bitcoin investment and trading has significantly impacted Nigerian economy in ways that you may or may not know. Let's look at some of it:

⚫ National investment growth: Most times when bitcoiners cash out, they head out to invest in other businesses (physical ones). They invest in real estate, import and export of goods, to keep increasing their income stream, and this in turn grows the nation's economy.

⚫ Reduce unemployment: Before Nigerian youths started taking bitcoin seriously, we were being referred to as "lazy Nigerian youths" 🤦, but with the introduction of bitcoin and crypto at different phases, a lot of youths now have a source of income, whether major or passive reducing unemployment rate.

⚫ Increase financial stability: Bitcoin has helped a lot of people attain financial stability, especially those that saw its potential earlier and have invested in it for a long time now. Regardless, young cryptoniers have also seen the path to financial freedom with bitcoin investment and trading, leaving them with better job choices.

⚫ Reduced frustration and depression: If you've ever had to go around Lagos or any state looking for a white-collar job, you'll know how frustrating it can be to be a job seeker in Nigeria. Some graduates job hunt for 5 years without seeing jobs, but with crypto, even students can learn about it and invest in it, creating jobs for themselves before graduation. Therby,  cutting off the frustration and depression that comes with job hunting in Nigeria.

Yes, bitcoin can dip and investors may experience losses, but that is why there are online and offline crypto communities and forums, so cryptoniers can learn about best practices to buy, hodl, and sell without encountering major losses. This way, they get 1st-hand information, guides, and a supportive community to share challenges they face in the space.
