Hello Forum,

I am very new to bitcoin, and I am still learning so please be patient with me if this has already been discussed.

I have heard many pro bitcoin people speak about how they would like the wallet software to have a built in coin mixer, so there is no Taint analysis and each and every bitcoin would always carry the exact same value regardless of source.

What My mind instantly thought was that it might be beneficial to simply removed a certain number of spent out puts from the block chain.

For example if the block chain was to automatically prune out every thing but say the last 5 spent transaction history of a coin, wouldn't this both have the effect of lightening the total block chain download, and at the same time allow users that wanted a more anonymized coin the ability to pass back and forth between themselves 5+ times creating a more untraceable "always fungible" bitcoin?

I am just suggesting 5 here as an example as the best number might be something else.

this would eliminate having to hold history back 5 years or even 10 or 20 in the future.

and if you wanted a history free coin you pay for that service by having to pay a transaction fee each time to eventually create it.

please share your thoughts and help me better understand what the cons of this idea would be.

thank you in advance.
