I just had the same thing happen to me. Same address, 8 coins taken...  Cry

I was backing up my encrypted wallets to dropbox. That might have been the problem.

Oh, that's something we have in common: I backed up my encrypted wallet to dropbox too.

Maybe that's the problem.

p/s: sorry for your loss.

Do you run linux or windows?

Windows.

Are you sure you had TFA enabled?

Yes, sure.

If so shouldn't you have an email in your inbox basically saying "hey someones trying to take your money"?
check the "deleted" folder, maybe the theif wasn't so smart, the email (i think) contains the IP of the attacker

Do you mean that I will receive notification if someone log in into my acc?

Your email was hacked and there was an unencrypted backup/weak password backup there.

This is probably the most likely occurrence, as it is near impossible for them to have gotten past your 2FA on your actual blockchain account. Having a strong password/2FA on your email is also a must if your using blockchain as your wallet.

Check to see if the theif lives Close by you, some people are greedier than they appear.
It's really a sad thing to hear someone have their money stolen

2 factor authentication is just to access your blockchain account, but not necessarily to access your bitcoin wallet on THE blockchain. If your password is weak, then it will be gone in 2 hours. There are bots that mine the blockchain for weak passwords. There are keyloggers that your browser can introduce inot your computer. Do you run linux or windows?

Sorry for your loss,

Well, I'm posting this just to share my experience with you guys, as I know that there will be no way to get those bitcoin back.

(Forgive my English please, I'm not a native English speaker.  Cheesy)

Time: 2014-01-26 17:41:58 (According to Blockchain)

It's around 2 or 3 am in my country. I was playing my phone in my bed, and received an email notification from Blockchain : "Bitcoin Payment Sent."
I know something was going wrong, so I opened Blockchain in my phone, and realized that all bitcoin in my wallet is gone. To this address 1M9TmgTGiaiwSMBpm52Vp6VZQsugkYmwXt.

TX: https://blockchain.info/tx/94e549ad9531d03c17b6460b87c02a9a537039e938c630828626f6eba61f43d7

Well, fyi, I have Two Factor Authentication enabled on my Blockchain account.

That why I'm really curious that how my blockchain account get hacked.

Anyone have idea how this is done? And is there any things I can do to prevent this from happening again? Huh
