Oh, that's something we have in common: I backed up my encrypted wallet to dropbox too.

Maybe that's the problem.

Thats was big amount. Sorry to hear about your loss. I only use blockchain for small amount.

This is probably the most likely occurrence, as it is near impossible for them to have gotten past your 2FA on your actual blockchain account. Having a strong password/2FA on your email is also a must if your using blockchain as your wallet.

Check to see if the theif lives Close by you, some people are greedier than they appear.
It's really a sad thing to hear someone have their money stolen

2 factor authentication is just to access your blockchain account, but not necessarily to access your bitcoin wallet on THE blockchain. If your password is weak, then it will be gone in 2 hours. There are bots that mine the blockchain for weak passwords. There are keyloggers that your browser can introduce inot your computer. Do you run linux or windows?

It's around 2 or 3 am in my country. I was playing my phone in my bed, and received an email notification from Blockchain : "Bitcoin Payment Sent."

Well, fyi, I have Two Factor Authentication enabled on my Blockchain account.

That why I'm really curious that how my blockchain account get hacked.

Anyone have idea how this is done? And is there any things I can do to prevent this from happening again? Huh
