It seems like Cryptocurrency and Esports can benefit a lot from eachother. You can read more about Crypto & Esports it on www.esportcryptocurrency.com
They are already benefitting and I believe in the nearest future, other means of internet payments like Paypal, CashApp, Monogram etc would soon be dumped because we are already moving into the era of digital currency where their would be no stress in transactions of funds. Esport firms are now adapting the digital currency as means of deposit and withdrawal which would be more easier for gamblers from different parts of the globe to participate in esport betting.

Well, some of us thought this will happen earlier! And I think this topic is about that, why Esports didn't embrace crypto earlier? Yes, both could benefit a lot, things would be so much easier, and available for more people!
I guess the answer is in the gambling companies that are still choosing "fiat way", instead of the crypto way! When we see at least some of the "big names" getting into crypto, for sure it will start a big wave!

There used to be a project called Game that aimed to achieve just that, but I don't think it's doing very well. It lost over 90% of its last year's value, so it looks pretty much dead. I think they will be accepting it because cryptocurrency is much better for tipping than traditional fiat. You don't want to go through paypal to give someone 1 USD.
I think that some pro gaming teams are already accepting cryptocurrency tips.

There's already plenty of E-sports betting options available, you just need to take the time to browse. For the most part, these revolve around the major games such as DOTA, CS GO and League, but you can find some rarer titles if you do your research. Alternatively, you can always bet using fiat currency by using one of the converters, such as shapeshift.
It do fit the people who loves gambling with e-sports. Alternative option for them is to bet with their items and the other one is to bet with bitcoin.

Those 3 games are the most popular in e-sports crypto betting sites. League = League of Legends.

I think it's pretty weird that we haven't really seen any prizes being paid in Bitcoin.
I mean it's already happening in regular sports, so I would have thought that e-sports would be way ahead in that regard.

What I'd really like to see is cryptocurrency being used as a way to pay out tournament prizes.
You would think that certain cryptocurrency-related companies would jump on making that happen.

Will the e-sports(gaming) industry accepts bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency?
There are so many esport industry accepting bitcoin and other cryptocurrency over the years. At least I am familiar with esportcoins.com, bitcoinesports, nitrogen, and some other new ones popping up daily. It is just to find the ones that suit you best.

I have also heard that some of the best and regular esports platform like GG are already integrating bitcoin and other cryptocurrency payment into their system, which I have no idea if it is true or not, but if it is, that actually shows some good prospect then in the esport industry and the integration of cryptocurrency.

I always bet on OneHash. You can also watch streams there!

There are actually so many of the right now in the market and for the most popular one we have known about in this forum which is nitrogen sports, I would say there are so many more to come. Asides that, I believe there are even some that are not much publicized hugely which I somehow believe it is something that would have been in existence hugely considering that the esport gaming sector is a pretty big one and developers will most definitely want to tap into it when it comes to adding up cryptocurrency. The only one I am pretty much familiar with anyway is just Nitrogen sports.

I am not too sure on "esports" part of it directly but honestly changing money and blockchains and trust systems are so high right now in crypto technology that it is a marvel no one has created a coin that is purely based on two people playing a game against each other with a bet on who wins.

Say you created "credit" or whatever you call it as a coin and you open a website or an app that is already connected to any game you want (well maybe not minor ones right away but stuff like madden and fifa and nba2k so forth with cs:go and lol and so forth of course) and that app or website takes your "credit" or whatever tokens from both side, you start the game and depending on the result that the website/app can see itself the winner gets the money.

Crypto is PERFECT for this. Don't know why it hasn't been done so far.

There’s a few esport betting sites that accept bitcoin, and the one that I used quite a bit in the past was Nitrogensports, which is a legit site that many people have used here. Only problem I had was that the volume on certain CS:GO matches I was betting on was somewhat low, but I didn’t have any other issues besides that. I have also heard of people using Thunderpick for betting on CS:GO matches, but I can’t verify completely how good the site is and if it’s legit as I haven’t personally used it yet.

I think many of esport gaming site already offer crypto on their site. Usually I played on nitrogensports, they already have some quite good reputation and even more games that they can held so I will stick around with them for this current time. Although some times they have a difference odds compare to others but it does not mattee that much for me

Yes, there are crypto casino's that are already in there few years ago.

Check and see onehash or nitrogensports.eu, you can bet with e-sports game there. What game are you up to?

I have test out GG.bet and Loot.bet on Dota 2 The international 2018 but on the rest of E-sports I do usually make use of https://nitrogensports.eu/ most of the time.
Most e-sports teams are sponsored by gg.bet
