Bitcoin was featured as a subject within a fictionalized trial on the CBS legal drama The Good Wife in the third season episode "Bitcoin for Dummies". The host of CNBC's Mad Money, Jim Cramer, played himself in a courtroom scene where he testifies that he doesn’t consider bitcoin a true currency, saying “There’s no central bank to regulate it; it’s digital and functions completely peer to peer.”[139]

Is "pop culture" aware of bitcoin?   If they aren't now just wait a day.  What was that one movie where it's like Life is time, time is money, and you're outta time LoL...  Has any movie ever made reference to Btc?  If no (I suspect no).. seems like that will be a big milestone though not sure for whom (btc or the movies)  it would be a bigger deal.  A year from now I bet this thread will be full of pop culture references... two years max!  That is so long as y'all don't spam it up like every other newbie thread around here.   Tongue
