Still nothing. No response by email or phone, again. I can only concluded that Bitcoin Insanity is a scam. At least they only ripped me out of $25. Glad I didn't try to buy more form the crooks. Once again, I used CoinBase and they came through.

thanks for sharing, I just wanted to use this service today. But I see it is really unprofessional web (a lot of errors), no https as stated, and whois privacy, come on!

https://twitter.com/BitcoinInsanity - updated on 22.may, facebook same. Basically dead service! NOT RECOMMENDED!

So, what's the final conclusion? Scam or not? And could this site be used if you're a buyer from Europe?
I think it's a scam. Some folks on here said they had some luck but I have heard nothing after sending them multiple emails and calls. My order is just  on hold  forever and ever.
They say on their FAQs that they will sell to anybody, anywhere, with a valid credit card, but I would not chance it if I were you. Don't want to derail the topic but CoinBase has came through for me every time.

Well I just got done calling them and the phone number just rang and rang and rang. So I now conclude that Bitcoin Insanity is a scam and will make sure to share my experience with everyone that I know.
I also ordered some BTC from CoinBase and it took 4 days, but they came through, unlike the Bitcoin Insanity scam.
Let this be a warning to anyone else considering ordering from the scam site know as http://www.bitcoininsanity.com/
They will steal your money quick and not respond to emails or phone calls.

I placed an order on 9-11-2014 for $25 worth of Bitcoin and emailed them twice now and have heard nothing back at all.
Order: #5461

Today is a Sunday so I will try to call them in the morning, I guess.

Well, I placed an order 9-17-2014, and the only option I was given was to deposit cash into their account.

I deposited the cash (and emailed them a photo of my receipt) and I have heard nothing. I have contacted them three ways through email on their contact page, through their online "Contact Us form" and a direct email response to their email letting me know that I ordered. No response.... for four days. I am thinking scam now...

Caveat emptor!

this service is really risky that you started as if someone bought bitcoins from you through paypal then reverse the amount you will get nothing.

Is there a max limit like Virwox? If there is, how much is it?

Maybe they were just "offline" or busy with family/work issues.

UPDATE: I received a phone call and was told the BTC was sent. I checked and verified it, and received an apology. They followed through after all.

You know what's strange?
That lenkug even if he logged in a few hours ago, did not reply to you...
(he wrote this post like "I found this place, I think it's reliable", but it's obvious that's managed by himself)

you'll probably face tons of chargebacks

When you try to buy bitcoins, paypal is not an option to pay anymore, despite stated on the website, probably because of the chargebacks/locked accounts

@OP , you're pretty mad for accepting PayPal here.
Be aware that you'll probably face tons of chargebacks from punk customers in the next days..
When some activity (PayPal to BTC) isn't already done by another businesses , you should ask yourself you why  Smiley

Hi I bought some Bitcoin on May 22, and deposited the funds into their account. Today I still have not received any bitcoin. I contacted support several times by e-mail and phone with no response. Order: #2307 - On hold (forever?)

I tried to buy $10 of BTC for a friend, but the only payment method shown is local bank transfer, is that right?

I made a purchase yesterday....and still nothing .....not so much as a answer to my email, phone call, or the message I had to leave with "online support" because no one was online.  Order # 1902.  Can someone please help!

You definitely stayed true to your name!

kaimitchell: we sent you the coins long, long ago. The issue is with whoever is hosting your wallet. Here is the transaction receipt: https://blockchain.info/tx/5e0b2a99b3a13e69da6ce7976b5ba93ead58ccacfd508872414303c0b2f992b1

since the highest transaction that can happen in a day it's just $25, I think it's safe for the buyer.
SSL it's not needed because sensitive info will go through paypal
keep in mind that SSL only encrypts communication between your computer and their server

Has anyone used this yet?  As soon as some people report some successful transactions I will probably buy though them.

These things make me want to stay away:
-No SSL cert
-Whois Privacy
-No telephone number
-Apparently hosted at GoDaddy

-SSL Cert is being issued. Currently the checkout goes through Mijireh Checkout, which takes you to a secure page when you checkout, or PayPal, which is also a secure page.
-If you need to reach us, send us an email. We will respond quickly.
-Leave GoDaddy out of this Smiley

For who buys it's safe to pay with paypal, and the rate is not too bad
My worry is that the seller doesn't have any protection with paypal  Sad - the buyer protection system of paypal enables scammers to steal bitcoins so easily

Are they insane for accepting paypal for bitcoins?
PayPal is the last thing people should use for selling bitcoins.
