you would get more input if you just post the code / implementation here, so we can see. but generally, i would think it would be much simpler to use Bitpay, which has many options for integrating with online shopping carts.
I can recommend bitpay, really professional and never had a Problem.
Try post what you did here, or hire a freelancer.

How to encourage online store to put Bitcoin integration links in their description. Don't just wait for google to implement a feature not many will use.
Why don't you just post it here so people can have a look over it? People might not be willing to go out of their way to message you but might be willing to help.
