So I guess the people who are buying and selling every day are not investors but traders, so there is no term full time investment or full time effort in investing in bitcoin. (and naturally in bitcoin trading you know profit and loss if it is done that massively every day)
Ideally bitcoin investment is done as a side or as a diversification of income from the main income.
More precisely, Day Traders, but Investors and traders have almost the same thing in common, the only difference is the time to hold assets.
Traders are more often to make sales and purchases, taking advantage of any price fluctuations that occur.

This is indeed a part-time job that is suitable for anyone. being the main investment that provides benefits for the long term.
and about the risks that will occur, of course, there must be and it will happen to anyone.

Just choose, want to be an active trader or a trader and also a long-term investor.

Investing full-time requires you to devote most of your time and energy to analyzing markets and trading. Moreover, the price fluctuation of Bitcoin is unstable, and there is no guarantee that it will always be profitable.

I don't think you have to spend a lot of time and energy on making market analysis if the asset you want to invest in is a very well-defined asset like Bitcoin. In addition, if an investor who prefers to invest long-term in Bitcoin, I don't think the investor needs to devote all his time and energy to watch the market every day, although it would also be better if an investor could have time to watch the market every day after investing. Because in general it is part of an investor's duties when he already owns the assets he is investing in.

I think that it is necessary to clarify regarding investment and trade, of course these are two different things in the world of finance, investment is very different from trading, so don't mix them up. People who sell and buy bitcoins every day are called traders, while people who make purchases then have holding periods such as 2 weeks, 1 month, 2 months and so on are called short-term investments.
So I guess the people who are buying and selling every day are not investors but traders, so there is no term full time investment or full time effort in investing in bitcoin. (and naturally in bitcoin trading you know profit and loss if it is done that massively every day)

but we can also invest in btc and make it our main income if we are really good at analyzing and our knowledge of crypto is very extensive or for example it is very difficult for us to get another job, then we can invest in crypto and make it main income.

We can make it as our main source of income if we became an expert on this industry but if you are not consistent and your profit is not stable on crypto then you cannot expect anything for now with this. Better to make it as side hustle while you are still learning because if you think leaving your job because you are earning a few chunks. Maybe you get broke if the platform where you generate some income stops.

I agree with your opinion and indeed if we rely on income from crypto investments then we will definitely continue to analyze price movements and so on.
and in my personal opinion btc investment is suitable as a side business because btc prices are very unpredictable.

there are many factors that must be taken into account before making this decision, in addition to the fact that in order to invest in bitcoin and fully dedicate yourself to this, assets would be needed for this investment to grow and bear fruit, and of course there is another factor to take into account and it is that these results are not immediate, so in question you have to take alternatives to generate income and thus you can continue producing until you see progress with the investment made. For my part, I would not do it, my thinking is that the greater sources of income you have, the more feasible the reward is.

after this encounter, I decided to bring this question too to the Bitcoin community itself so I would hear from other traders like myself. What is your opinion about this would you quit your job and go into Bitcoin investment, considering it as a full-time hustle?

Even if it brings us high income, but with its volatility and uncertain future, it cannot be compared with traditional work. Because traditional work has a low salary, but its stability gives us security and sustainability. Why don't we take advantage and combine the two to give us the best income and the highest security? Have you ever thought about what would happen if bitcoin and the market disappeared or were no longer profitable?

as a crypto trader sometimes, there's this question that usually comes to my mind and that is if there are people out there who are into Bitcoin investment fulltime and then if crypto currency paid me more than my current job, would I quit my job to go into Bitcoin fully?
The question is then:
1. Is your income from crypto really more than offine?
2. Can your crypto income really last long?
3. Don't you have a problem if one day your crypto income stops suddenly, or drops in a matter of hours so you might not get any earnings for a certain time?
4. What are you doing in this crypto investment, is it trading, or other work that can at least guarantee that you will always get regular income to provide for your present, future, and urgent needs?
If all of that is fulfilled, then it doesn't seem like a problem, as long as you really can accept all the risks that might happen and can anticipate them.
1. If yes, then proceed and going full time but if NO, then you shouldnt quit
2. There no certainty about crypto investment or crypto space.
3. Always mind off that risks and always be considerable about back up plans because if not then youre fucked up.
4. Dont quit on your day job, invest on bitcoin and some altcoins to be hold up for long term but dont expect something from it.

It all matters on someones preference whether they could see that they could be able to sustain themselves in speaking about finances. We know that there are ones who do took a
gamble on doing full time engagement with crypto and quit up their day jobs. Well, its their choice but be sure that you should really be that able to cope up
when problems do exist.

Bitcoin investment is about information, which early investors of Bitcoin made a lot of profits, which the journey of Bitcoin has not even started, because Bitcoin price in the near future is going to be unbelievable, talk about side hustle is just looking for money from hand to mount money as a daily feeding, which can not buy expensive assets, but Bitcoin investment is a patient business that requires time and more profitable in future for financial freedom.

It is better to work part time than to focus on bitcoin full time. You will have less money pressure when focusing on working full time with bitcoin, but you will face great pressure to make a monthly profit. Pressure makes you misjudge yourself and can knock you down at any moment. Your quality of life will then go down drastically. It's still better to prioritize part-time work as a side job. Earning money from it and reinvesting it will help increase your income even more.
You have a point but every thing depend on your personal self and the issue surrounding both the BTC trading and your real-life job. We have crypto traders that quit their job to focus on Bitcoin because they believe they have reached the peak of doing well with only cryptocurrency job.
The OP keep his job while set a target because sooner or later if he don't quit his job he maybe sack. What I believe is important is knowing what he's doing investing in BTC and developing another skill that will fetch him money rather than crypto trading that's unpredictable.
After achieving a good investment, skills, and reaching the peak of his target he can then quit his job.

Although doing a job is difficult for some people but it has a constant value for you which you will get after each month. I will never quite my job for bitcoin investment because bitcoin doesn't guarantee maximum return always but it can also be a cause of one's failure.

Bitcoin investment doesn't effect your job so you can be a part of bitcoin investment and continue your job as well but never make bitcoin as a single source of getting money.

Having a job and also a fixed salary that will be received every month is a choice that must be prioritized besides investment or a side job, because this is a definite income.
In addition, you must have the capital to invest and make investments that don't interfere with your work, because you can do it while working and also in your free time, especially for making long-term investments.
both can be done depending on your wisdom in allocating time which I don't think long term investing takes a lot of time, and you just have to look at the market or your coin any time and only take the time to buy when the price goes down and then hodl.
and i do both because i need capital every month to buy bitcoins from my remaining salary because i do DCA and buy every month after getting my salary from my job, and it's all for the long term.

Quitting my job depends on the type of job I'm doing currently and there are possibilities that if I find something more profitable and less time demanding, then I wouldn't have to stress myself over some casual jobs which means that I can give up my job if crypto trading becomes more profitable and if I become stable but having a second thought, I think there is no need giving up my job if doing the both jobs doesn't affect me at least directly and there is a saying that we should always have multiple streams of income so doing my regular job along with trading wouldn't be a bad idea provided they don't cause any harm mentally on me.

I will personally love to got into trading full time but that will depend on how much capital I have and if I'm to start trading on a small basics then it will have to be a side hussle to give me room to raise more capital till I get balance in trading

Rather than going full time, it is good to spend dedicated time. This increase the chance of earning better as well as know better about cryptocurrency market. When one have got a job that pays regularly will lower the pressure of earning through the cryptomarket. When you depend completely on the cryptomarket, sometimes scenario might not favour to earn good. This can affect the living standard. Prioritising it as a side income will let one make some earning as well as reinvest the earning. Such practice will let you have better earning streams.

It depends on the situation. If you're earning enough in Bitcoin investment where it can manage your expenses and even allows you to save for the future, then you can consider it as your fulltime. Why work another job when it's giving you more? Also, if Bitcoin or crypto in general is taking most of your time where you don't think you can afford to work another job anymore, then make it your fulltime. But if you can still work another job and your Bitcoin investment isn't enough to sustain your needs and expenses, then use that opportunity to earn more by having a job and a side hustle. Your investment can be your passive income while you earn another income by working. We don't know how long can your investment be in a good position so it's better to have a stable job where it can give you a stable source of income.

I want to ask you one thing. In your opinion, having one source of income or two sources of income, which is better? This life always contains surprises, so we always need B plans for it, and having 2 or more sources of income is one of those plans. With a world rife with inflation, and currencies depreciating daily, many people struggle to earn extra income from various jobs. Having 2 income sources is the dream of many people, including me.

As others have also said, bitcoin or crypto is too volatile and very risky. So quitting your job to spend all your time investing in bitcoin is really a bad idea. I completely agree with what those guys have said.
Any investment has its own risk and cannot guarantee consistent profits unlike a decent job that gives us fixed income every month. But I believe those who take the risk in leaving their jobs in exchange for investment have also their valid reason. If they have enough assets that will assure their bright future, then why not? After all, keeping a job will not make you rich overtime, but keeping an investment will create life changing progress if you work on it for long term.

If they are well prepared, even if they don't make money by focusing on bitcoin full time but can still live a life like everyone else, then that decision is completely justified. But I'm afraid there won't be as many people as you say. Those who are looking to quit outside jobs to spend all their time in bitcoin is because they become greedy when they see the profits that bitcoin brings and think that making money from bitcoin is too easy. They want to focus entirely on bitcoin to make a quick buck and maybe retire early. I've met a few people with that mindset, and most of them failed and went back to their old jobs.

Since bitcoin or crypto is highly volatile one should always have a full time job based on fiat currency and keep crypto as a side hustle. This is the first thing taught in Risk Management by Crypto mentors.

So far and some who are in Bitcoin rarely do full time / full time for Bitcoin, our advice is that you can still do both, your main job I think is very important, and the rest of the time I think you can use it to control your Bitcoin.
Indeed, that is a good advice for him. It's better not to quit his job if he can work what he's doing in Bitcoin part-time to earn more money. He can also prepare his investment for the future and I think it can also help him to have extra money if he has important needs that must be met. Be patient for a while until you collect bitcoins so that when the price of bitcoins goes up high, he can sell them and make a big profit.

You are using the terms investing and trading as interchangeable terms when this is not correct, being an investor and being a trader is very different, becoming a bitcoin investor is a very relaxed activity and even if you profited greatly from it, this is an activity that at most will take you a few minutes each day, and as such it will give you time to have a different job if you want it, trading on the other hand is way more intensive, as it requires that you watch the markets for hours and it is unlikely you will be able to keep it as a side hustle for long.

But whether investing or trading in bitcoin, nothing is as secure as an outside job. So it will be a wrong decision if you quit your job to devote all your time to this market, whether you choose to trade or invest. Long-term investing has more advantages because we have more time to do other things, but if you choose to trade, it will not be too much of a problem as long as you know how to organize your time properly.
Just like I am also trading forex, I don't need to watch the market all day, and I just like to trade when there is an American session. Because then the market is more volatile and trading will be easier to make a profit.

In some situations, it is very clear that one has the choice to act quickly rather than waste time on whatever they are doing. In the case of Bitcoin trading or investment as a side hustle or real job, the person is supposed to know which of the two is more rewarding, which of them is more significant and sustainable, etc. From there, they can choose which part to go with.

For example, if I am steadily making about $1k or more every month from my Bitcoin investment, either trading or investing, and I am also receiving a salary of $500 in my real job, I will have to contemplate the two and see which one is more consistent, then go for that one alone. But Bitcoin investment doesn't take your time or require you to go to any office; you can do all your things at home. So, if you feel you are very capable of handling your job and the Bitcoin investment both, then you are sure to benefit from two sources of income, but if you can't handle both, then you have to go for the one that you have tested and proven to be more consistent, realizable, and beneficial to you.

There is this proverb about "killing two birds with one stone." If you are that guy who can kill two birds with one stone, then kudos to you.

There are many people in this world who cannot support their family by working. They trade bitcoins in their free time to overcome these financial problems and earn profits. There are many people who see Bitcoin as their source of employment. But you would never quit your job to invest in Bitcoin, it's not a good comment for you.
If you are investing in bitcoins then you must be patient as the market has a lot of volatility so you can never be sure what will happen. If you have saved money in your spare time without trading in Bitcoin, invest that savings in Bitcoin for the long term. and you must be careful about investing when the market price of Bitcoin is in a downward position. and hold the investment for a long time then you can get good amount of profit from Bitcoin in future.

Opportunities are so hard to come by nowadays. The competition is so high. Considering the fact that bitcoin investment is a long term plan, you can not just quit your job to join it as a full-time hustle. The statement is 100% accurate on increasing your capital of investment if you keep your job. Your job will give you a steady flow of money, from which you can always create a budget to save every month or invest that into bitcoin. Even if you take the approach with DCA, in the long run it will also give you a great profit. Why lose one in order to get the other when you can have the both and both will give you great feedback.

I sometimes wonder if I should quit my current job to focus on trading full-time. Times like these are very difficult, and I can't think of much, but I continue with my work. From the beginning, when I joined this part-time job, I only thought of earning extra income, not intending to work full-time. While it's true that sometimes the job pays more than a month's salary, I find having a stable main job is better than working full time in this risky market. Just like you can't be sure that your win rate will be 100 percent,

To be honest it's not necessary to do even I don't think it's very effective to leave your main job and go into Bitcoin completely, because Bitcoin is not very demanding of this, you should be able to focus both which is where you must be determined to do the main work as well as half the time to look at your Bitcoin, but it also comes down to your own decision.

Definitely you can’t run a family, pay bills and fulfil daily needs through trading or Bitcoin investment. Here the profits are uncertain and there are chances of even getting 0 returns. It is always advised to do a job which pays fixed salary, so that you use the money from there to run the family. Trading or investment can be treated as a second source of income, in order to add extra income to your base income, but completely relying on it, might create a problem in the future.

I haven't heard of any of my friends working full time in Bitcoin. Whether it's trading or developer or something else. Right now all my friends have other main jobs outside of Bitcoin. So if I conclude, investment is not enough to provide certainty of income so this investment should be used to benefit additional work. Working to provide labor services is currently the main choice because they will get definite money in the week or monthly.

Why would you want to leave a well-paying career if you want to invest in bitcoins? How will you obtain the capital for investing? That would be a pretty bad course of action. Bitcoin investment is not a career or a side business. How is this a job when all it involves is buying bitcoins and storing them safely until they increase in value and generate a profit, just like any other investment? It is obvious that some individuals do not truly comprehend what investing is.

It is obviously not a wise decision to quit your job if all you do is buy and store Bitcoins and wait for their price to increase, that is not going to give you constant earnings so that you can run your house and life with it but it is just that if the price goes up, you will be in profit. Only a person who is doing day trading should leave their job and only if they know they are earning enough from trading.

Someone who doesn't have good enough capital and doesn't buy and sell cryptocurrencies on a daily or hourly basis is not supposed to leave their job to become a full-time trader because only buying and holding Bitcoins or other cryptocurrencies won't give you enough profits.

It is a volatile market, our life can't be the same. To some extent it is possible to adjust the life needs to the varying income. For a long means this will sure be problematic. Better is to have a stable earning job, so that things can be planned accordingly. With the earning out of bitcoin trading and other activities it can be used to make life even better. There are people who are full time into cryptocurrency trading, but through some means they've already secured to receive earnings from multiple streams.

Depending on your personal circumstances and risk tolerance, you should fully understand the bitcoin market and investment risks before making a decision.
If you already have certain experience and knowledge, are able to make effective investment decisions, and are willing to devote more time and energy to Bitcoin investment, then you can choose to invest full-time.

If you want to invest in Bitcoin, you have to take a high level of risk. If you want to make money by investing, you need to have a good idea about investing. If you want to make a profit, you have to invest in Bitcoin for a long time. If you invest in Bitcoin, you have to take some risk.Otherwise you can't profit from here.

If you are less risk taker, then you would always consider an investment as a side hustle. That way, you can play safely with your finances. But if you want to see your life change in an abrupt, you will never be afraid to take risk in making your side hustle as a full time endeavor. However, always know that an investment can give you life changing losses too aside from making you profitable, so think more wisely which decision will work for you.

Then it turned on me that I should drop my question of whether Bitcoin or crypto trading could be a full-time hustle that would continuously put food on our tables in the near future and if they could quit their current jobs going into Bitcoin investment fulltime?Their responses were quit alike saying that
"to them, Bitcoin would continue to be a side hustle and since the price of cryptocurrency is volatile they could loss the value of their investment at anytime. they also said that they couldn't quit their jobs as that would continue to bring more capital for their investment"

after this encounter, I decided to bring this question too to the Bitcoin community itself so I would hear from other traders like myself. What is your opinion about this would you quit your job and go into Bitcoin investment, considering it as a full-time hustle?
Dont quit your job because its true that the market is volatile and something that you cant really rely specially if you are really needing to have that daily needs which we know that trading cant provide nor investment

to put up food in our table on day to day basis which it doesnt really make no sense if you would quit up but you arent really that something sustainable on crypto investment not only limited on Bitcoin but in overall crypto space. Yes, there are ones who are really be able to quit up their jobs but those are the ones who had been holding up big investment or funds and able to make out some
sustainable trades in day to day basis.

Acquiring such knowledge or getting these type of skills isnt something that someone could easily pull off. This is why it would be wise on making it as a side hustle because
you wouldnt really be that dumb not to notice whether you are really that sustaining or not. You would be the ones to find out on that certain right time.

I personally know many people here in my area who are full time bitcoin and cryptocurrencies traders, and they are living a very good life, including those with families as well, though most of this guys are not typical traders like me and you though, they are hardcore professional traders with all the right tools and a well furnished trading room where you can find all kinds gadgets set up to optimal trading experience..

I personal quit my job in 2020 to become a full time bitcoin investors, as well as a trader, but still, i didn't have to depend solely on money I made from trading, I decided to set up business of my own as a major source of income, while bitcoin trading have become my side hustle.

The answer relies on how you are actually seeing bitcoin investment in the future and how you are doing it well at the current. While most of us here prefer bitcoin investment as a side hustle because of its inability to give sustainable profits, I also think that it could bring a big difference in our lives if we also try to make it as a full time  endeavor. Yes, the risk could be a lot way higher but you know, you can’t expect your life to see high progress if you are afraid to take big risks. But always know that before we decide to focus on investing for full time, at least our finances are already stable so that if we lose, it can never affect our finances that much.

Rich people don't settle in one source of income. They become rich because they have multiple business, multiple investments, and their own jobs. You don't need to settle and work full time on investments or trading if you can work your job fulltime and sideline, investments should be just side hustle.
True. They always seize opportunities that will make them richer in the process. So from the rich men perspective, if you can make them both work, keeping your job and receive good compensation, and working on your side hustle in your free time to make it profitable, then there’s no reason to focus on a single job or side hustle. If rich men are doing this, then much more to those who only live at a regular stratus who keep on wishing to improve their lives and be financially stable and independent.

No doubt people make profit in Bitcoin trading but the idea of making it a full time job is a no no to me  reasons being that Bitcoin price is volatile. You may or may not make any profit at the end of a month. But when you have a job you know that at the end of the month a particular amount will be paid to you. So for me Bitcoin remains a side hustle 😔😔.

when we always get profit from our investment sometimes surely some people will have thoughts like that.

but in my opinion, investing in btc shouldn't be your main business, so in my opinion, investing in btc should be a side business, because in the world of btc, of course there is a bull market and a bear market.
so investing in btc has risks.
besides investing in btc in my opinion is not tiring so it would be better if we do jobs like in factories or offices and so on and make btc investments as a side business,
so the profit will be even greater because we have 2 jobs.

I really remember a friend of mine who is a Contractor who is also pursuing this field in terms of coin trading, telling me one thing "I only trade with one coin only BTC". So in short they have gone through the bitter and sweet side of investing in BTC and I think this is a natural thing if they decide to continue investing because after work and market performance they have studied well.

Investing in Bitcoin is risky, and for me it's just a side hustle.

I understand. This is an individual perception and is not wrong. But this may not cover all points of view on Bitcoin.

The choice of whether to make Bitcoin investment a full-time endeavor or a side hustle depends on your knowledge, experience, financial stability, risk tolerance, and time commitment. It's a personal decision that varies for each individual. Consider your circumstances and goals before deciding on the level of involvement that suits you best.

Ultimately, the decision between making Bitcoin investment a full-time endeavor or a side hustle depends on your specific circumstances, goals, risk tolerance, and available resources. It's essential to carefully assess these factors and make a decision that aligns with your financial objectives and personal situation. Consulting with a financial advisor may also be beneficial in helping you make an informed choice.

I started as a trader then I switched to become a long term hodler. Before I engage myself in crypto, I already have a stable job and a running business that up to now still existing. But I still don't quit my job despite of having other source of income, why? Because this is where I can earn a passive and stable income aside from being a crypto investor.

So my answer to your question is no, I will not quit my job and won't consider being a crypto investor/trader as a full time hustle. I agree with your friends, their job can give them additional capital for their investment hence it's wise to keep your stable job while treat crypto as a side hustle. This way, incase something didn't go as planned with your investment, you still have other source to be able to earn a decent income.

The people that you saw outside did the right thing.
They did the right thing to not quit their job, and take Bitcoin trading as a side hustle only.

TBH, there are only few people out there who have the guts to quit their job, and focus on crypto trading, and become successful. What's worse is there are some traders out there especially when the newbie ones who are getting profit in their first few trades, made a few bucks, quitted their job as they are earning far more than their current day-to-day job, and after that they lose their money in trading. This is the reason why I don't quit my current job as of this moment, and focus more on crypto trading. I know for a fact that yes you can get profit for consecutive days, but there will always be a possibility that one or consecutive wrong trades might end up losing my money.

What is your opinion about this would you quit your job and go into Bitcoin investment, considering it as a full-time hustle?
HELL NO!!!!!!

Unless you're an expert trader who are earning more profits than losses in a monthly basis, why should you quit your day job to just to trade. Why quit your job if you can do both of them at the same time? I'm not an expert in trading, but does expert traders look at the charts 24/7? Bitcoin is very volatile, and very unpredictable thus, you don't know where it can go. One time you might earn profit from it, and then after that you might get lost. Overall, I don't recommend quitting your day job, and focus more in crypto trading.

Everyone knows that most day traders of any asset are losing money in the long term, because there is no reliable method of predicting short-term price. And investing in Bitcoin for long term can't even be classified as side hustle, because it doesn't require much effort - just buy Bitcoin, set up a wallet and wait for years. Side hustle is something that you spend maybe 5-10 hours per week at least, and with Bitcoin investment you don't need to do that.

No matter how profitable bitcoin is, once it is unstable, it is never considered a full time job.  furthermore, bitcoin investing and trading both carry the same risks as gambling, so I rarely see anyone devote themselves to it full time, and most of them consider it a side job.  it would be best if you didn't quit your outside job to spend all your time on it.  Firstly, it is unstable, and your life will be difficult if you don't make money from it.  Second, your life will come to a standstill if, in the future, it collapses.  never depend on just one thing, life always needs variety.

Honestly speaking I was once a full time crypto earner but being in crypto for a long run you would realize a lot of things.
The price of crypto could move in a fast phase that also means your whole life is at risk.
If you couldn't find a good source of income in crypto your investment alone would sink along with your expenses.
That is why it is better to make it as a side hustle than to make it your full time.

It’s obvious that two heads are better than one. So if you can be profitable on both, then never compromise your job so you can focus on trading or investing. Bear in mind that the market is unpredictable, so you have to invest or trade with high caution as much as possible, and this will bring too much pressures on you. In order to lessen the risk and pressures you felt, it’s a wise decision to keep your job that gives you consistent profits, and just do investing or trading whenever you have free time after working on your job.

Interesting thought but that would depend on everyone’s personal choice. Many of us actually into bitcoin due to its freedom, ever growing value and demand makes it more of an investment based asset. We all know how it’s growing since its invention, the growth is literally exponential. Every four year cycle is proof of that.

It has to be full time endeavour for us then only one can make good progress in the portfolio. Yes peeps are making something on short terms as well but not as side hustle. It does take lot of efforts in that as well, so surely not just side hustle.
Yes, it all depends on individual’s choice. We all have different mindset and even personal experience when it comes to bitcoin and our job. Some actually leaves because they have found more opportunities to earn in bitcoin, while some are still hesitant because they don’t have any sources to depend on when their investment ends up as a failure. However, for me, as long as my finances are not yet stable and my earnings are not yet enough to ensure my future, then I would always keep my job and leave bitcoin investment as my side hustle. But for some who already made huge earnings that will ensure the future of their family, I guess there’s no reason to stick to their job.

That is a very risky decision leaving your job in exchange for your investment. There’s no guarantee that bitcoin investment will give you sustainable amount of income, and it’s not that you will be profitable every time you invest. Remember that there are inevitable losses in any type of investment, most particularly for a highly volatile market that makes the price of bitcoin crash anytime. So it will create a lot of pressures in your part if you focus on bitcoin for survival, at least you have a stable job to give you fixed amount of income and a side hustle that adds more income to your main job.

Investing in bitcoin completely will not provide stable profits, maybe at this time it will provide more profit than your job salary but sometimes where we will feel a loss and that is something that must be reconsidered, so by leaving the job you are doing and then jumping into bitcoin investment completely or any trade is not a good idea and of course with you working you can still earn a stable salary.

"to them, Bitcoin would continue to be a side hustle and since the price of cryptocurrency is volatile they could loss the value of their investment at anytime. they also said that they couldn't quit their jobs as that would continue to bring more capital for their investment"
Maybe this word is the most appropriate where bitcoin is only limited to the side as a job that he does in his spare time from work, my assumption will be the same work is important to prioritize while crypto trading and bitcoin investment must be made on the side.

What is your opinion about this would you quit your job and go into Bitcoin investment, considering it as a full-time hustle?
I will not stop working, I will continue to do it or the business that is running, so I will not be full-time in bitcoin, it is only an investment. When there is more money, I will put some in bitcoin as a long-term investment.

You can reconsider which one is best for you, of course there will be different thoughts where you can get bored in your work.

Having more sources of income is a great thing.  It will secure our finances and we are able to meet our daily needs and more possibly with an extra left in hand.  If you think you need more time for trading, you can always buy a  trading bot to trade for you while you are in your day job.  Diverse source of income will ensure us of source of fund when one of our sources is not performing well.  So I would advice you @OP to keep your job and save to buy a trading bot so that it will perform the trading for you 24/7.

This question is regularly posed in this section of the forum, and the responses are always the same.

Your job is secure, and you have a consistent income that you can rely on for your own living expenses and upkeep, but trading is an investment that depends on market movement to determine your return.

The advise is always the same: keep working and keep Bitcoin or cryptocurrency trading as a side hustle so that you can add capital to your trading portfolio from your monthly earnings.

Definitely not, Bitcoin investment is very risky to put your whole life on it since it’s very volatile unlike jobs that give you a sustainable source of profit by being consistent to your work. There’s no such thing as consistent on Bitcoin or crypto investment in general. You can be quick rich or quick poor based on the outcome of your investment.

Unless you already secured your future funds that will gonna last until you die then this is the best time to do this kind of crazy idea but with moderation.

Why would you sacrifice your stable source of income just to focus on Bitcoin investment while you can do both by doing your work and invest your salary on Bitcoin then just hold.
I would agree to this. Yes, bitcoin investment profits is way bigger compared to what we usually earn from our day job but seeing it’s not consistent and sustainable, then it’s not enough to quit our job and just turn to bitcoin for our main source of income. It will always be a side hustle for me, so that in times of losing, at least my finances will not easily ruined because I still have my own job that gives me fixed amount of income. However, if we can do both to see growth in our finances, that would always be possible. We need to keep our job in order to finance our bitcoin investment or any type of investment that we have desires to enter into.

There are people who makes a living out of cryptoinvestment but will that be enough to consider it as a reliable source of income? I disagree. Bitcoin and this industry in general has high profit potential because of volatile market prices. But that is also the reason why it should not be relied on to sustain daily living. High risk and high reward but people often see the reward alone and not the risk involved. You'd win big time but for sure you'll lose countless times on DCA. And if you would engage with long term investment; prices won't consistently nd continuously increase which means, profit won't be fixed or continuous as well.

Investments are meant to just be an additional income unless you have different investments which would sustain your daily expenses. Investment alone in this industry won't be able to provide you that and if you don't hve other profitable assets in other field, then consider securing a consistent salary to sustain your daily needs.

At a certain age if one cares to sit and reflect, the decision made by a group of friends might not be the best decision for any one individual withing the group.
What am saying is that, if they do work at different jobs and are single or married, it could influence their decision on whether to trade or invest in Bitcoin fulltime or just tag it as side hustle.

I have seen some people who don't have jobs but have stuck to trading and live fine. I have also had colleagues back then with a company I worked with, who traded Bitcoin while keeping a job.
For me, i believe ones success in making anything fulltime hustle or side hustle, boils down to undivided focus. If one has skills that relate to Bitcoin and can do the work and have the patience, of course you can quit your job and focus fulltime on Bitcoin investment and trading if what you earn monthly equals or surpasses your paycheck at a regular job.
It depends on ones decision though.

You shouldn't have to quit your job to invest or trade in Bitcoin. Along with the job you will have enough time to invest or trade in Bitcoin. You should not quit your job because there is no trust in investing in bitcoins. we cannot confirm that you will only profit from the investment.  Sometimes your bitcoin investment is doing very well if you quit your job at that time then you will not have any problem but when the market condition will be bad then you will face financial problems.
So even considering these things, the decision to leave the job and invest only will not be the right decision.

Bitcoin is not recommendable to be a full time job where you are relying for your monthly bills payments. Remember before you could do some investment and trading you would need some money so you could join in the market. Even if you say you earned a lot already in crypto it's still risky to quit your job since crypto are open to volatility's risk.

It will stay as a side hustle where you could earn extra plus if you are working on a company there's a benefit it gives to their employees since it's a centralized unlike Bitcoin. I've read it here that don't always put all eggs in one basket so it wouldn't be a waste when it's gone. It would be better if you have a variety of options for your money source than in just one especially if you could handle more.

Side hustle, of course. Trading doesn't provide a steady income, and Bitcoin itself is volatile enough to not depend on it without a main source of income. I did manage to earn a decent sum of money while trading, but not all days were pleasant or enough to call it a full-time job—not even close. On top of that, trading is stressful enough by itself to be done full-time. Unless you have a great sum of money that you're willing to put into trading, which means potentially generating greater results, then no, I don't think it's feasible enough to be sustainable.

You need a main source of income in order to support yourself and have some level of security in case anything happens, as cryptocurrencies are volatile and may not always yield the result you're hoping for.

Never you take BTC investment as a full-time job because, it will make you feel bad when month is coming to an end and the market price is still low for you to earn something, but it will be advisable for you to have it as a side job that will not too border you when the price of BTC continue to decrease than to use the opportunity to buy more of BTC and hold. Leaving your full-time job for BTC investment, is like you are leaving  village to city not know that a day will come that your village will turn to City, so continue doing your full-time job and put BTC investment as a side hustle that will give you something that will increase your wealth in future.

The crypto-beast, with Bitcoin at its heart, has been the talk of the town for the past ten years, hasn't it? Yet, the golden rule of the finance game is - big gains often dance with big pains. Yes, we've heard of lucky dudes becoming crypto-tycoons overnight, but for each glittering triumph, there's a graveyard of epic fails. With the crypto market swinging like a drunken pendulum, even a mere tweet (Elon, I'm eyeballing you!) can cause a frenzy. Therefore, if we gaze through the lens of risk mitigation, it's far from prudent to bet your whole kit and caboodle on Bitcoin.

But wait! Let's switch gears to a more philosophical lane. Sometimes, we gotta take the plunge into the deep blue mystery to uncover hidden gems. Bitcoin has unfurled a banner of immense potential, and it could totally revamp the financial terrain. Why not devote more time, gain deep-dive knowledge about the intricate tapestry of the crypto realm?

All the investment initiatives can be considered gambling, most people can't get stable income by cryptotrading, that's why most people consider it a side hustle. However, there are some people who either got a large sum after successful investments at the starting point of cryptoindustry (so now their main job is to be rich and chill out, while investing in crypto remains being their side hustle), and also there is a group of people who work as miners/coders for crypto. For them it is the main source of income, not a side initiative.

The work that you may have been doing for a long time that helps not only you but the family you have or dear parents or siblings helps them. I think if it doesn't become a hindrance to you doing bitcoin trading here in this business field then there is no reason for you to let it go.

Maybe you can give up your regular job if you can maintain your income for a month in bitcoin or crypto trading that is more than what you earn at work. If you do this every month, that's the time to say if you can really let go of your work and just focus on cryptocurrency as a full time trader.

But if it's not and you know yourself that you don't have enough knowledge, don't let go and make this Bitcoin or cryptocurrency part-time in your life.

Bitcoin is indeed volatile, but my main concern isn't with that. I just feel like having any single income source is risky and something that makes you a very dependent person. You can get fired from a job, or you may want to quit but feel too insecure about doing that because then you lose all of your income. I don't do any particular thing full-time and don't intend to do it, unless it's a case of extraordinary circumstances. Doing a bit of this and a bit of that helps to be a freer person, I believe, and it helps mitigate the risks that come with any jobs or from BTC's volatility.

after this encounter, I decided to bring this question too to the Bitcoin community itself so I would hear from other traders like myself. What is your opinion about this would you quit your job and go into Bitcoin investment, considering it as a full-time hustle?

I don't need to spend all my time looking at my computer or wallet because I am a Bitcoin trader or investor. I just need to look at the prices of some coins a few times or even once daily. So what will I be doing with the other hours? Maybe relax and eats snacks because I am a trader or investor. Even if I am a millionaire in Bitcoin, it will not stop me from engaging in my conventional job. Bitcoin will always be a side hustle for me because I want to be a professional in other endeavors that will assist me in contributing to the development of my area. Everything is not all about money but fulfillment derived from accomplishing a specific task. To avoid being a target of criminals it is good to still be working so that people will not know you own bitcoin.

I’ll speak for myself. I wouldn’t do this as a full time job unless I knew I already cashed out enough to live a good life and continue to invest and multiply the rest that I have in BTC. For example I think it’s a pretty good idea to leave your job and do Bitcoin full time if you’ve invested a couple grand a decade ago and held so far. You probably have enough by now to live a comfortable life with the money you cash out and still continue to do investing.

But for the most part of humans, this is just a “side hustle” as you call it.. some people are just waiting for the opportunity to cash out and buy themselves a car or a better home.. just like in businesses, how many people actually get to the level where they don’t do anything and earn money? It takes courage, luck, risk and a lot of time..

as a crypto trader sometimes, there's this question that usually comes to my mind and that is if there are people out there who are into Bitcoin investment fulltime and then if crypto currency paid me more than my current job, would I quit my job to go into Bitcoin fully?

Why close a source of income when you can make money from both ways, no millionaire has one source of income. Quiting shoudn't be an option unless you're thinking of going full-time into the cryptocurrency industry. If you're thinking of getting a job in the industry that'll require your full attention and the payrate is better than your previous job, then don't quit your job instead do both and make money money.

Trading or investing in cryptocurrency shouldn't be a job, you should have other main jobs while you do them separately or together as your side hustle or get a side hustle while you're investing or trading. If you're not working and been paid in Bitcoin, don't quit other jobs.

It's always wrong to close any source of income, unless you want to go all in on cryptocurrency trading. Then, I'll say you'd need absolute dedication to stay ahead of other traders in the market and make more profits. If the current work isn't providing you enough time to trade and the pay is nothing compared to what you make in bitcoin, then it's a decision that nobody can take for you. Although, going full time into side hustles sometimes gets boring especially when we just start the journey. Handling the both is also a better way of maintaining your financial security. Always have a second plan to fall back if bitcoin trading surprises you with a decline or losses. You can't predict the outcome of your investment unlike your office work, where you're sure of weekly, monthly or yearly payment.

What is your opinion about this would you quit your job and go into Bitcoin investment, considering it as a full-time hustle?

While investing or trading bitcoin can provide better income than traditional work, in terms of safety and sustainability, it cannot be compared with traditional work. Honestly, I have not seen anyone able to make regular profits from this market, especially during bear season, most of the time, it is tough to make a profit, let alone make a steady profit.

Moreover, in addition to instability, the future of this industry is still uncertain, so giving up your main job to focus on the market full-time is quite risky. We will have no way back if the market crashes. I would never quit my job to devote all my time to bitcoin, and it would be better to have 2 sources of income than 1.

As long as you can't make a lot of money investing or trading bitcoins, you don't need to quit your job and stick to bitcoins as a part time job. It can help you make even more money and prepare for your future retirement when your bitcoin investment or trading can make you a lot of money.

But if you are more comfortable with bitcoin trading or investing and bored with your job, you can just quit. But you must understand the consequences because quitting your job means you lose your salary every month and you must try hard to earn money trading bitcoins.

What is your opinion about this would you quit your job and go into Bitcoin investment, considering it as a full-time hustle?
Would you quit your job if you have a few thousand dollars in your bank account, your answer will be no, but you may quit your job if you have millions of dollars and then start using your money to make more money for yourself without being an employee to anybody.

BTC is also a currency, and you quitting your job will depend on how much BTC's you have, if you were an early adopter who mined BTC and has millions of dollars in BTC, you may quit your job and use trading to keep yourself busy and make more money if you are lucky, and even though trading is risky and you lose many times, you have enough to stay afloat. I feel someone who doesn't have up to millions of dollars in BTC should not consider leaving their job for trading. Take note that trading is different from investing, the latter does not take time away from you, and you can do it while even working more than two jobs.

By itself, investing in bitcoin does not require as much time as a job, so even if my financial condition allowed me, I would certainly quit my main job. But I can't imagine that investing takes as much time as the main job, it would take a lot of time if I was a trader, but since I am a long-term investor, I do not need to analyze the chart daily in search of good trades.

If everything goes as I expect, maybe in the upcoming bull market I can make enough profit on my investment to leave my job, but for now I keep working as it is my main source of income which also helps me replenish my investment portfolio.

The first mistake you made not being able to properly distinguish between bitcoin investment and bitcoin trading. Let me hep you out. Bitcoin investment entails buying bitcoin for the sole reason of keeping it whether in a cold wallet or hot wallet for an extended period of time with the intention that it would appreciate in value. In bitcoin trading, as the name implies, you buy and sell bitcoin frequently in order to make profit from price and market movement in a short period of time. While the duration if the former may be in weeks, months and years, the duration in the later is in minutes, hours and days.

Having made this clarification, it is obvious that you bitcoin investment cannot be a full time job but a side hustle if you choose to call it so. However, bitcoin trading can indeed be a full time job or a side hustle but it depends on the trader, their level of experience, goals, and many other factors. Only the individual can say whether they can it to be a side hustle or their main job. A lot of persons are doing it, therefore it is possible but you must weigh the pros and the cons and seek counsel before making that move.

If it is a good paying job, why would you want to quit it because you want to invest in bitcoins? How are you going to get the money to use in investing? That will be a really poor decision to take. Investing in bitcoin is not a job, it is not a side hustle. Just like every other investment, it just involves buying bitcoins and keeping them safe until they grow and give you profit, how is this a job? It is clear some people do not really understand what investing is.

You really need to weigh everything here, like think what you will going to sacrifice if you will quit your to be full time in Bitcoin investment or any hustle, is it worth it?
Because there's no guaranteed that you will earn consistent profits in Bitcoin investing or even trading, so think twice.
While some people are staying to their job and in their free time they are researching any potential investment related to Bitcoin like buying cheap Bitcoin on dumps or trading.

Many people in this world nowadays have found great value in bitcoin as a means of generating income to address their financial issues. As a result, some view bitcoin as a potential source of employment, even though they are aware that there is no guarantee they will continue to be making money from their Bitcoin investments always.

It's not a smart idea to quit your job for a cause you can't be sure of. The primary issue with bitcoin is that there is no assurance over it because of the volatility. Bitcoin is seen as a huge opportunity where we may make some money, either through long-term investment or by trading but relying on it fully is a bad idea.As for me, I can't quit my full-time term job where my payment is guaranteed for Bitcoin investment that I can't assure myself that will be making money from it always.I see Bitcoin investment as side hustle and that it what I will always take it to be.

You can work with your job more sustainable than with Bitcoin and cryptocurrency. In cryptocurrency, you can gain income from investment, trading, coding, community management, graphic design, animation design and more.

Unfortunately, no guarantee that you will always have profit from investment and trading. No guarantee that you will always have jobs in cryptocurrency. The very tough challenge from cryptocurrency is it has bull and bear years and bearish time in cryptocurrency market is very terrible. You will hardly to get jobs in bearish market.

as a crypto trader sometimes, there's this question that usually comes to my mind and that is if there are people out there who are into Bitcoin investment fulltime and then if crypto currency paid me more than my current job, would I quit my job to go into Bitcoin fully?

So yesterday, as I went out at night to grab some snacks for myself. I bumped into a group of friends who were also into cryptocurrency trading.

Very few people do it fulltime because

1) Most of the people are busy with jobs or studies. They do not have that much time and resources to do crypto fulltime.

2) Concept of crypto is new. So less people will bet on it completely.
