The argument is not important don't waste time arguing with him he should continue with his reasoning why people are making good profit from investing on bitcoin.The fact is that  there are people who do argue ignorantly they dont know the difference between an investment and chances or luck. They don't have informed knowledge about Bitcoin, maybe he is saying that based on the perspective of trading buying and selling for short term gains not the investment aspect which involves holding bitcoin for a long term for profit. Betting is a total different thing from bitcoin investment, betting is like taking a chance while bitcoin investment involves taking strategic approach for growth.

The thing be say,  some people done get alot of misunderstanding about the concepts of becoming,  because most of them think that Bitcoin is some get-rich-quick scheme that they put in small money and yield high returns overnight,  this mindset has affected them to the point of them going into investing in a wrong coin, thinking they investing in bitcoin,  and taking it as a gamble.

Many of them think this way but in reality,  Bitcoin is far away from being a gambling tool because in gambling you either lose whole or part but in Bitcoin you never lose a bit as long as you are holding the Bitcoin.

Nothing concern Bitcoin investment and betting, di former na digital asset wey don proof im reputation for crypto market as di most reliable crypto coin wey di value go de continue to de increase, while di latter na gambling wey depend on luck for di gambler to win money. Although both of dem get risk factors but di risk of Bitcoin de very minimal and na only wen you invest in am on di short term you no go de sure of profit, because di price de pump and dump, but if you hodle am for long term, no matter how di price fluctuate, e go still de go higher during bull seasons. Bet risks de very high, no matter how you predict di outcome of di game, na by luck you fit to take win.

This argument is irrelevant and sometimes you don't have to bother getting involve in such argument. If we start arguing about gambling and bitcoin what should we tell people comparing gold and bitcoin or other valuable asset.
Gambling is totally different from bitcoin and besides a lot of people tag bitcoin investment as a risky investment but still if invested properly at the right time you will get to understand why people choose bitcoin investment.
Gambling is just a game we play to win or lose, I can decide to stake a bet  now or any day and I will still be expecting my win or lose within a short period of time because gambling works with luck  but bitcoin investment doesn't work that way cause you have to wait for a very long time before  expecting any profit. Bitcoin is a valuable asset people buy and store for future use  just like gold.
There's nothing to argue about expect your friend is referring to trade and a lot of strategy people use in trading still doesn't serve as gambling.

They are difference in bitcoin and gambling doing futures is kind of similar to gambling and aside from that they do not have anything in common with gambling, and gambling as sent  a lot of people to trenches just because of addiction but if you are addicted to trading it is a good sign because you won't lose much money and you might get it in return in the next trading and if it was supposed to be gambling then if your money is gone it is gone, there is nothing that can be done to get it back so by far i would not even advice anyone to give gambling a trial instead of wasting much time on gambling the person should use that time to learn about trading. i don't have anything against gambling but always control your greed and that way your finance is secured.

your friend might not be looking at bitcoin investment but rather trading, which many have categorize as gambling although they are right too but they still have a point since all of them are based on speculations. investing in bitcoin this days is almost in same risk cycle with a devaluing fiat currency and both are not gambling. although bitcoin trading is also speculations it is requires skills of both the technical and fundamental analysis and that's why you see skill traders do not lose anyhow have more than 70% chance of getting there analysis right not like gambling that's always a half and half chance

I can see your friend does not have any knowledge about bitcoin, because if he does, he will not compare bitcoin with gambling. Bitcoin was developed for everyone, but you cannot force them to use it, so don't argue with your friend again; just keep on accumulating your bitcoin with the DCA strategy. I just wonder why this kind of comparison come up because as clearly as the terms are, betting is betting and it is taking a risk that produces an instant result which is supposed to be 50/50. That's, the probability of winning is either 1 or 0.

Whereas, Bitcoin investment could either be a means to save for the future or to trade to make instant profit of which the capital is there or if there's some loss, it won't be in total.

I no know why people never sabi the difference between this two thing wey dem dey always compare for long now because me don also talk am say bitcoin investment is far more better than gambling (betting) why because if you invest in bitcoin even though bitcoin price reduces to 50 percent you still get your value in bitcoin but e go only reduce for the dollar rate so nothing you lose but just say dollar rate drop. But for betting when you stake with at least NGN 1k and one game cut among the whole you go see say your money don go be that and nothing you fit do to cover that your money back but for bitcoin you go see say you get hope for the price to increase so that you go sell make back your money. Only this alone self supposed make you understand say bitcoin can never be classified as gambling we can say is extremely volatile but to the point of losing entire whole lot of bitcoin price can be affected but 1 bitcoin still gives you 1 bitcoin except for the pricing.

Person no go just one day wake up from sleep say he wan investment for bitcoin na that kind of people they take risk. Bitcoin investment and and gambling no go ever be the same thing.But the two sha na risk taking and them still get big difference because bitcoin na all about investing while betting na all about prediction and gambling

Good evening my people, today I say make I bring this very pressing issue come forum, I done dey here this matter on my social media handle, untill one of my guy tell me say bitcoin investment and betting na thesame thing nine the matter tire me , for me I know fully well say no be thesame thing  because number one the reason why people dey bet na say them one make big money from small money by luck, due to say something happen the way them plan, but bitcoin investment dey focused on to buy bitcoin come hold am for  a long time hoping say the value go rise.

Betting carry big risk because the fact say something go happen the way you plan am, no too sure like that, but for bitcoin investment I fit say the risk they smaller because na economic factors nine dey determine watin dey happen for the market, so at least for bitcoin  investment person fit make informed decisions , instead of to  just depend on pure luck.
