We should stop with these type of huge overreactions to each movement. I see bitcoin going up few hundred dollars and suddenly there are tons of posts about how bitcoin will be $318k and none of them are around anymore, go check them and there hasn't been any messages on their topic for few days now that bitcoin is down. And when bitcoin is down there are tons of topics about how bitcoin is bearish, bitcoin is going down, bitcoin will be 0 and many things like that. Is this like a joke to some people?

I mean you do realize that not every single move in the crypto world has to be 1000x right? Just because it went down 10% doesn't mean it will continue to go down 90%+ more neither, and just because it went up 10% doesn't mean it will go up 100% more neither.

I don't think so, When viewed from 1H and 4H, Bitcoin is still trending up, and there will be a mini breakout. Bitcoin fell because of a correction. As long as Bitcoin is not sideways, it is not safe for altcoins. The dominance of Bitcoin is still above 63%, this is kinda risk for altcoins

Bitcoin has come out of Bearish, if you realize Bitcoin has been bearish for 3 years,
and now it has started in the bullish season, it has been seen that the price of Bitcoin has been able to hold above $ 16k,
and that is very impressive.

Bearish for now but will not be bearish for too long, its typical that the price will fall dye to its continuously increase in price before. It can be a correction but after these price will sure to have it bull run again. I don't see it as a bear that we experience before. There is still a month left for 2020, price can still change though depending on how we will be able to monitor it. We can't blame others who already take profit since its indeed attempting to do as the price is already high.
For me it is not bearish because you just see a drop wherein the major supports are still holding, once the major supports break then for me it is only the time to consider that the price of the bitcoin is already in bearish trend. Look at the price of the bitcoin wherein it easily recovered after it got retraced, I actually did not expect that the price will quickly recover and I think many people accumulate when the retracement happens. For me the price needs to be stable inside the range and I want to see that the price will resists again in $19,500 but breaking it is good because it only means that we will see that the ATH can happen in this current year.

2020 is not a price for Bitcoin, but bearish for Altcoins, yes, although not all altcoins experience Bearish,
but it is very common for altcoins now., Because the dominance of Bitcoin is still above 60%,
the Altcoin price only recovered a few, such as Ethereum, Ripple, Tron, Cardano etc., but this is not a bear season, this is a bullish season.

2020 is the year for bitcoin to rise again after it's down at a low price for a long time. We can see that in this year, bitcoin price can get a bullish trend, and the price can start rise after it sleeps. The next year will be another good time for bitcoin to lift the price and hit the next ATH, and as we can see now, the bitcoin price back to $$18k, and that is a good sign for us to expect the next high price. But we need to aware of another downtrend that can happen to bitcoin, and if that time comes again, we need to be ready, and if we want to buy more bitcoin, that will be a good time to buy bitcoin.

This may be the end of the bull run where many experts predicted a new all time high for Bitcoin.
We can only hope this is just the part of the correction period some of us expected.
We were so close to that all time high and i do not think Bitcoin is Bearish by any means.

no that's not the end we still have months before the year's end how people here called it bear when it actually just a simple correction?

Do you want to see price of bitcoin continuesly increase without a correction do you think it's possible?

What happening now is a sign that we are in good condition market unlike what we see before.
I guess most naive cryptocurrency investors and holders sees Bitcoin correction/dump in price as a curse than been a blessing because it actually open doors for new profit and the last time i checked every market corrections that happen when the market ATH price is awaiting it a chance for those that miss the previous downtrend market to buy before the total bullish start.

In my opinion many people misjudge the correction that has occurred in Bitcoin, not because the price of Bitcoin has fallen,
then it is said to be bearish. In my opinion, the increase in Bitcoin has been very drastic in the last few months, very reasonable
in case of price correction. Because the increase in the price of Bitcoin without correction is not healthy.

Regarding the opinion that says that the bull run is over is not true, because the bull run will continue until 2021. In fact, I am still
optimistic that the target for Bitcoin to reach all time high prices can be achieved in 2020. You can see Bitcoin is starting to move up
again nowadays, and there is still one month left for Bitcoin to return to the ATH price.

I see the reason this thread has not got any contribution since that it was dropped, maybe hodlers didn't like the bear trend speculation for bitcoin Grin and for the difference, bitcoin has climbed very high and almost meeting the ATH. Definitely, it has been a smooth movement for bitcoin since it touched 10,000 for the second time this year.

No, it's because this is another generic thread that won't add much impact to the forum as the discussion here will merely be speculations backed by our personal opinion and repeated replies. We're too quick to jump into conclusions which is one of the biggest enemy of individuals in the industry. Any small correction is seen as a bearish signal which isn't so. If you're following the price of bitcoin you would had noticed Bitcoin has already gained atleast 90% ROI in a period of merely 2 months.

That was an unhealthy growth even for Bitcoin and could have caused a very big dump assuming this correction didn't happen now. The fomo was much as everyone was panic buying anticipating that the previous high was to be reached before the year ends which a dump would had mostly been the next thing to happen.

Bitcoin gas tested the $16k support and testing the trendline, and the chance to increase in the coming days is high... if bitcoin can hold above 0.5 Fib level. Furthermore, the RSI level shows that there are a lot of too to grow, this will add the chance to a stable uptrend. If the reversal beginning it's very likely won't fall below $17k within this week.

The price just retraced but it doesn't mean that the trend is already bearish. The price is currently gliding at 20 MA and it is good because the short term support is still intact which means it is not yet bearish. There will be long consolidation that will happen so it will be crucial to the price of the bitcoin in the following weeks, if the price breaks the recent high then expect a price surge but if the price keep rejecting at the recent high then it can be a sign of reversal where the trend is weakening and a bearish can suddenly happen anytime.

Maybe the bearish trend has changed today because the candle and the pattern can increase, although not much. So we can hope that the next days will be a good time for bitcoin to rise again. In the next week, we will see a beginning in December, so we will see what will happen in that month, and we can hope that the price will have more chances to hit the highest price. But we need to be careful because the bearish trend can still happen in the next month.
People still call the charts within the months bitcoin shown as a bearish trend.

It ain't bearish.

Metrics to be seen for the whole year for bitcoin, it shows that it isn't bearish and it's the opposite since May.

When bitcoin is in bullish mode, it will make people believe that the bullish trend will continue longer, and now that bitcoin is in correction mode, people will think that bear market has taken over. All of that are just speculation based on what we see and believe, but it does not assure anything in the future, so just believe what you have to believe and make a decision based on that.
when Bitcoin is bullish or bearish dozens of new topics are created... Cheesy
It should be an experience that when Bitcoin is bullish the bearish market is getting closer. do not always think that Bitcoin will continue to climb like climbing a ladder. a bearish market is very reasonable and can always be predicted.
Bitcoin is the backbone of crypto currency so all the hunters are always discussing the bull or bear. Already many peoples are  hold the investment in bearish market and 4th quarter of the year is totally good in BTC so all the traders are happily enjoy the recent bullish market and again it will move to bearish trend on yesterday. Now we are waiting for the next ATH because we saw the little stable market in today so it will move forward on before end of the year.

I feel no fear at all and I believe we should not use the "bear" word that easily, in order to consider it a bear we should first remove all the bull earnings we had, if we are still 70%+ up from just 2 months ago, we can't really say that we are in a bear run, it would be really illogical to call that much gain and still in bear. So, there will be plenty of people who are afraid and in panic, but as long as you stay calm you will profit.
We often say bears arrive and this results in panic or losses then head to 2 months ago where did they not keep their profits after the market went bearish?
We have to balance a little with the current situation this insignificant decline is only a correction that occurs after that it will return to its original $ 19k, this panic will make it uneasy and also a risk when doubt is still there, it's true you said we must remain calm even if we can buy from below again before the bullrun comes back.

I do agree that with every single drop people are acting as if we are in a situation where we can never recover ever again, it is quite possible that bitcoin could have some corrections and end up with doing much better later on as well, why would we fear that bitcoin is not doing well and going into bear mode when the price is still super high compared to what it was just a few months ago?

I feel no fear at all and I believe we should not use the "bear" word that easily, in order to consider it a bear we should first remove all the bull earnings we had, if we are still 70%+ up from just 2 months ago, we can't really say that we are in a bear run, it would be really illogical to call that much gain and still in bear. Bearish, it is not. It is a correction after over ride and failure of all time high breaking attempt from bitcoin. To rise higher, bitcoin need to go through corrections like what it is on going now to have organic growth. Rising and rising day by day and week by week without correction will create another bubble. If you regret that you miss a chance to take profit, I advise you to be calm and patient, other chances are waiting ahead in next year.

Exactly, I don't know how the OP call this a bearish trend when bitcoin are still way above the $16k-$17k threshold. Maybe we have lost close to $2 million during that dump, but it doesn't mean that we are going bearish from then on.

Bitcoin will break that resistance and make a new all time high next year. People try to say bitcoin will get a price at $100000 to $500000 that is I don't know. A new all time high is what I am believing in and I aim at $50000 to take profit next year.

There is also this narrative, which could be true, in order to reach a new all time high, bitcoin could face a lot of storm. So just continue to stack sats and wait next year, as the bull run might go insane.

This correction is indeed huge but it will certainly not be the beginning of the bearish trend.  Bitcoin has had a similar correction at previous Halving, and this time it has the buying support of major financial funds so it can only fall to $ 14k max.  This is the moment for us to buy more Bitcoin and hold until next year.
- I keep my point that Bitcoin will soon break ATH and make a new high at around 30k $.

It's not that big actually, it's not even 20% dip so why should be bearish right now?

Just another correction and then perhaps it will trade sideways for some days to come. If will be bearish if it goes down hard like in the $12k-$13k range, but the support is holding at $17k so I would say it has settled down a bit and there are no more bleeding.

And it's just $3k to $20k so most likely we can really achieved it by the end of the year or early next year, I reckon.

I couldn't agree more, this is just a flash crash prompted by sell-offs from investors as Bitcoin approaches its ATH.

When Bitcoins price tend to decrease, then people do always have these kind of common words;

~Price Crash
~Dump
~Bitcoin is Dead
~All is panic selling
~We are on a bear market now.

Without even realizing that this had been part of the market where sell offs do happen.People shouldnt really be surprised
into these kind of events.

Hello everyone =)

So the title of this article is "Bitcoin Is Bearish" and here's my reason why.

(https://images.hive.blog/DQmPqvYgaNEPFtfcHW459gPjVSmhiYPAEtG5TjXxXBuNMx4/Screenshot%20from%202020-06-08%2016-37-16.png)]![Screenshot from 2020-06-08 16-37-16.png](https://images.hive.blog/DQmPqvYgaNEPFtfcHW459gPjVSmhiYPAEtG5TjXxXBuNMx4/Screenshot%20from%202020-06-08%2016-37-16.png)

Bitcoin price is still in the Symmetrical Triangle and the resistance Level is at 10,330 and so far is failing to remain above 10K.

I made a video explaining more:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K_OgK1NdgJQ

So Yeah as you can see I wont be bullish until Bitcoin remain above 10,330 and out of the Symmetrical Triangle on the 1W chart.

Thank you for reading my article and as always, Take Care!
