IMO, BTC is better without the folks who are always afraid from China & any decision made in China
big % of bitcoin volume controlled by china that's why china have big effect for bitcoin price. but maybe now nothing to worry because if china ban bitcoin or not allow to trade bitcoin, they not controlled price again

it is time we proclaim to the whole world that Bitcoin can be better without the influence of China. We don't need China to make Bitcoin survive. By next year, all of these things can be history and maybe we should learned the hard lessons that China is just a big headache.

It is time for Bitcoin and the whole of cryptocurrency to move on without China. We can still survive without it and in fact there are many BIG companies right now who do not also have any presence in China. We should not be afraid that Bitcoin can die without China...in fact the opposite can be true.
yes I agree and I just want to say in my opinion
bitcoin live and exist because the community is 100%, not because of china or any country Smiley

Yeah, definitely somehow it has shaken the market little bit. As we know China has very strong network, plays an important role in cryptocurrency.
There was a great opportunity to popularize bitcoin and  taking it to next level. Unfortunately China has closed the door for it.
Its good that China has shown its reaction now only. So that it can be strengthened its market without the paper tiger.

Honestly the ban and unban is causing price instability. But you wouldn't blame the ordinary Chinese who are aswell the victims.  The government needs to be responsible.

I think people are overreacting to news from China. It's just one country and the world is big. China may have an influence right now, but I bet not even 20% of coins is in their hands, so even if they all sold at once the drop wouldn't be this big. We went down because all other investors started selling for whatever reason.
Oh, no, the Chinese are jumping ship, Bitcoin is dead, let's sell! Cheesy:D

The truth is, China wanted to take control over the bitcoin network.

They tried every dirty trick there is. All failed.

They tried to fork bitcoin, they tried to attack with hashing power, they tried to bash bitcoin and pump alts...

I think they finally realized that they are powerless against a truly decentralized monetary system so they give up. Now they know they can't control bitcoin, they won't be able to do it ever, bitcoin is useless to China.

In fact, Bitcoin makes it possible for the Chinese people to escape from that shit hole.

So, they naturally, banned it.

That's good for everybody. (except the poor/innocent Chinese people)

we are just a chess pawn and nothing more than that. i understand what you mean, for example in my country indonesia many stores are controlled by chinese descent merchants and their products mostly imported from china with cheaper reason (no racist intention). before that there should be known first it was about Chinese culture where they taught their children more business. and they choose hungry today for better future. Chinese trade tactics are remarkable. and we should learn from such a thing.
and now are we really "ready to starving"? and it's reasonable why China controls the Bitcoin market.

big investors want to start their business will certainly choose a promising country. if you want to start then look for one of these developing countries who certainly have the resources needed. maybe indonesia country  Grin but i am not sure if indonesia has the resources infact they still import from another country.

From my perspective, I think bitcoin will still do good without China. This crash will not last for long, soon we will all forget that all these bans even took place. Bitcoin is already recovering and will keep recovering till its +$4000 mark, its proving that it has the potential of doing good without Chinese markets. We will still use bitcoin and make it grow, a lot of countries now are adopting bitcoin and it is slowly gaining population and recognition.

I hope it's just an issue about china that will kill bitcoin, as we know with a lot of news embracing this crypto currency bitcoin, and already we all know with china has made a crypto coin which is called LBC or LBF whatever it is , bitcoin will not die that easily .

Cryptoworld is indeed better without China. Also, Bitcoin is created to be decentralized, meaning there will be no need in any central governing party or country (in which China is trying to do in the past months). Our industry will strive more after with what happened in the past days. The Chinese government don't want BTC because they can't wrap their hands around it but I'm pretty sure that their own people wants the opposite. They will make all the possible ways to still trade BTC secretively and dodge the regulatory hands of their government. Good luck to them. BTC will move forward as it has been doing in the past years.

I don't think that bitcoin might have not reached such a bigger growth and a higher place among the entire digital currency network if China hadn't taken part in the popularizing and mining. It served as a base for the adoption that took place during the early days of bitcoin into existence. During those days more than 90% bitcoin users were Chinese.

We are all better off together.

Amen. This ecosphere is still in its infancy, compared to traditional financial products. If only for the sake of decentralization, we want this as global as we can possibly get it; we don't want a monopoly by any given culture. but for the sake of liquidity, we should want more of the same. if this gets largely confined to a particular border, you get exactly what the fuck just literally happened with the markets. We need China, but we need a smaller China, or a China with stronger hands.

We can still survive without China

Bitcoin is far better without those scared little rats running for the exit every time another news story breaks.  Like cockroaches when you turn on the lights in the kitchen.  They scurry away so fast.

grose that's how dirty your kitchen?

china is going to buy back, they will and i think they already did.  these people are fond of gambling and its not just bitcoin that they are up to now.
china is regulating the ICOs which is now they are trying to make sure all these companies are real, registered and can deliver what they promise and this will be the end result of this law.
