I think now is the best time to buy bitcoin and hold, i think we almost reach bottom. I will hold what i have and i will get more by trading and also i will hold for long time, maybe next year we can have a bigger price than never.
I agree,It is the perfect time for holding! Thats what most are doing

Now bitcoin is "increasing". This is what we have to deal with every single day, it was about $3.6k just a couple days ago and looked like there was nothing stopping it from going to $3k and everyone was taking their positions based on that considering selling at the time and rebuying when it reached to $3k to increase their position.

Look at us now, it is about $4.2k all of a sudden, went about 7% or so in one day, not like it matters considering we have come from $20k (more recently $6.5k) so it wouldn't really matter to us when it moves from $3.6k to either $3k or $4.2k but it is just a small example of how bitcoin never does what you expect it to do and always does the opposite of what everyone thinks it will do.
I agree with you, It's unpredictable. But the price is still quite low

Pompliano states that Bitcoin "will likely fall to 85 percent below its all-time-highs – around $3,000."What are your opinions on this? Is there hope for us to reach a new high next year or maybe even this year? or will BTC keep falling?
https://cointelegraph.com/news/bitcoin-is-worlds-best-performing-asset-class-over-past-10-years-says-pompliano
If bitcoin price will still fall this year then we must accept the fact that it will be the destiny for bitcoin this year. LOL. As much as possible, we also want bitcoin to make another ATH's but for me, it is too impossible to happen this year especially that the price of bitcoin now is too far from the last ATH's last Dec 2017.

Bitcoin is falling and that is a great opportunities to buy though many of us are afraid because of the current market conditions.  To invest into cryptocurrencies market now take a very strong mind and heart and those that has such mind really make money from the market.  Investing now is the only way to take the advantage of the falling price.

REally? I do not see it will going to happen because bitcoin now has its recovering state and will hope that it will going to continue in the near future. This should be the time for bitcoin to bounce back after its huge fall down because this month of the year 2018 is the peak season so we could expect bitcoin to move higher even a little.

Still, we can't guarantee about it because Crypto behaves unnaturally. But the good thing is that we already have some hope to see this moment which it definitely gives us the strong signal to hodl until we can get back to the right track.

No one knows. Whether we go below or hit another ath, only time will tell. Though for the latter, i doubt that we're going to see btc over 20k anytime soon. You just can't be certain in this market especially if you're just trying to look at the short term.

Hey. In my view, BTC will drope to ~3000$. In two years value will keep the same and after that period I think (I hope Cheesy) it will start growing again. That's not only my personal opinion, some BTC infulencers agree with that aswell Huh Cool

I'm not agree with your wrote, indeed BTC has fall to 3K but now there is a positive flow and this will increase.Look at the improved value will continue and you will also know that at the end of the year BTC will continue to be increased,so drawing conclusions will continue in the range of 3K it seems not BTC cause the market stability of the crypto is uncertain.

Sounds like a reasonable estimate. We have seen this before. We currently seem to be at or near the bottom.
But then again Bitcoin doesn't follow rules Smiley
That's the problem, even there's good news or anything that can bring things to a good position there's still something unique around this market, what many people expect most of the time goes to the other directions, so all we an do right now is to keep being track and observed, invest when we are really ready to wait and hold.

Price was 3400 so that is 10% above price you posted. Why would be strange to go down 10% more?   Price can still fall. but cant fall that much anymore. It went from 20k to 4k that is 5 times decrease. It is impossible to repeat that again. It is even hard to belie for price to halve.

Recovery will be slow. first we will half year or a year of staying stable. After that slow recovery will start.   That is why there will be no new ATH this or next year.  Bitcoin will go over $20000 again in 2020.

We have reached $3600 and have tested the waters several times in the past few days and we held strong on that region. As of now, I'd say that we have a strong footing on where we're at right now but something can go wrong and we can see ourselves below $3000, reasons to which would be unknown as there are no events which could promote the price to slide below $3000. Right now we're back at $4000 levels and slowly climbing back up to $4200 at the time of this writing, though I hope that this isn't some sort of a bull trap as what have happened in the past few days as well.

I think that the most important statement is the title of that article.
"Bitcoin is world's best performing asset class over past 10 years."Why don't you discuss this statement by Pompliano, instead of focusing only on the negative stuff.Bitcoin might crash to 3000 USD,but it will rise like a phoenix after 2-3 years.

Nobody knows how is Bitcoin going to recover next since a lot of miners have already got out. But I guess there would be a miracle to happen.
Yeah, I also heard that many miners have given up, which is really disappointing, but we'll have a strong come back, that's what's most important!

Isn't it the price have been hovering around the $3000 lows for the last several days? So we almost at that 85% range. Obviously, the market condition is worst and I don't see any positive news that will let us get out of this bear market. Of course there's always some hope but its better to be prepare yourself for worst conditions. Its possible that it may go down below $3000 or a eventual break out run before the end of the year. No one really knows for sure.

True, the only thing that can at least pull Bitcoin out of this fall had been postponed and moved next year.  So there is a possibility that Bitcoin might go side way this December worst will fall down less than $3k. But we should be calm and see what will happen on the 1st quarter next year.  The hope for bull run this end month of the year is kinda vague.

It has been around 3000, so basically we are at the 85% range. Lets hope it doesn't dip below 3000..

Volatile.
One word that describe the whole characteristic of bitcoin scenario. It could shift/change anytime as long as (possible whales) pump and dump or manipulate bitcoin. Cryptocurrency is not perfect because whether we like it or not advantages and disadvantages is with crypto ecosystem depends to individuals understanding but somehow disadvantages couldn't be denied or stop because it is normal in digital currency system.
