The price of bitcoin is slowly moving to five figure value and we could see another rally when the derivatives market becomes a reality,even with the announcement we had a rally,i am sure the price would double when they start dealing bitcoin and then we might see ETF next year which would further fuel the growth,with all these growth a market cannot sustain all these upward rally for a long time,i wonder when we will see a major correction.

what do you mean by this?I would have said $40,000 bitcoin's were an absolute dream but the way the price is rocketing at a seemingly unstoppable rate I don't see $40,000 as dream land any more. It really could become a reality sooner than we think.
You would be surprised how likely it could be that we would see ridiculous prices like the 40000$ price. If bitcoin were to get a mere 5% of the total amount of money that people have invested in gold bitcoin could be valued at $25000. And that's only 5%! With the current growth 25000 can be likely in the next 3-5 years (realistically speaking and a lot of the times I'm wrong when it comes to prediciting how soon bitcoin will hit a certain price point, perhaps at the end of next year who knows). But do not forget, Bitcoin will not go to $40,000 in a straight line. I can still correct back to the mid $2000s or the low $3000s. The important thing for us to do is to be sure we have our bids ready in those prices to get more Bitcoins.

That's your belief. It may take 6 months, 1 year, 5 years etc. We are not future tellers. Everyone has their own mind. Some people may prefer to cash out before end of bubble and some may hodl for a few years. Invest as much as you can afford losing.

Bitcoin will never be to expensive. Simply because have limited supply. ETH on other hand will become expensive at some point.
$40000 is now definetly a real possibility in the next 5 years . Half my family are now taking notice and buying bitcoin after years of me going on about it and getting mocked. I'm sure this is being mirrored across the globe.even the bbc are reporting more positively about bitcon just today

Well, even a $2500 was stated unreachable but users in the past. This has grown higher in unexpected time making every users to be crazy. So anything might happen with bitcoin, and the truth about it is that depending on the increasing adoption and usage volume the price increase happens continuously. I really believe it's possible to see bitcoin prices reach $25.000. Lot of people still underestimate bitcoin's value holding worth and money transfer worth. It makes bitcoin pretty much valuable with fixed supply.
But how many years for Bitcoin reach to this price? I can't wait Bitcoin reach to this target because I need have money for my life, I'm working with Bitcoin and take that as the main job and the main source income for my family. 
That's quite possible you may see bitcoin up to 40,000$ but its only a prediction and though may take 1-2 years or 5-10 years depending upon its popularity till then.But if it grew with the same pace, it may reach up to 10,000$ till the end of this year. Meanwhile, I suppose it to be good time to invest in it.

$40,000 isn't going to be happening in 1-2 years. Let's be realistic here.
As much as i believe in bitcoin in the long term, and how it's going to rise and rise and rise, this is just not possible or should i say very probable at all. $10,000 has a very slim chance of happening, i'll give you that, but $40k is just not gunna happen.
Though if you gave bitcoin a bit more time, it'll prove itself. $40k is small in the long term. In fact in the long term we don't even need to measure bitcoin in terms of fiat. 1 bitcoin is worth exactly 1 bitcoin because fiat is intrinsically valueless.
If you wanted an estimate from me for when btc will hit $40k approximately, i would say around 2030.
Yes, this is the thing I'm really waiting for, I'm sure the bitcoin price will continue to increase even this year will reach $ 10,000. When all the negative issues are over, then it's time we continue investing because big profits are waiting and sure.

Exactly, So I think sky is now open for whatever price we are going to speculation on the price of bitcoin. John McAfee even predicted a million per pop so I don't know if that can be touch or if bitcoin can get closer to it. But what thing bitcoin proves to us many speculators is that, it really difficult to see the price of it in the future. So we better just buy and hold for long term and have faith and trust that bitcoin will moved toward to what prices we want to see it in the future. Beginning of this year no one has predicted that $4000 is possible, now we have surpassed it and going forward to $5000 as the next stop.

Why again you want a ethereum to be compete with bitcoin. Nowadays even bitcoin cash seems like nothing in front of bitcoin. I see today value is been turned to 4000$ and above. Whenever price moves up, we speaks about hard fork can be expected in future.

Bitcoin is growing fast but i think it's too early to talk about reching 44000$. It still a long way to reach that value but you never know. I do believe that someday it's going to reach a very hight value so i intend to invest now before it's too late.
Before going to $44,000 dollar, it has to surpassed first $5000 dollar and I think it will happen this year, hopefully. Then $10,000 dollar 20k 30k and finally 44k. Its too ambitious now but slowly, we are on the heading to it.

I think your predicion may be too high or the time frame you gave. $20000 is way to big or 2 years because as for today bitcoins value is playing up and down from $3800 to $4000 but majority expects bitcoin to go about $5000 by the end of the year and maybe $6000 next year.
Bottom line we can't really say what will happen in the future. Maybe in an hour bitcoin's value goes deep down or fly up, so investing it now will not guarantee us that it will be expensive in the future. It can be a treasure but it can also turn into waste.

O regret because when it's price drops i sell all my bitcoin to trading sites now look at the bitcoin price it rages up again, no matter what happens the bitcoin will always recover and recover.

Foreseeing what will be Bitcoin's price is a very speculative game for us since the beginning. But one thing is for sure, its price is gradually increasing every year and I have no doubt that it will reach $40,000 some day. We just don't know what would be the time frame for it to reach that price. Always expect corrections here and there and try to buy the dips if you have any extra money. BTC will be worth more that it is now in the future.

I believe bitcoin is possible to go that high. BTC price is unpredictable and it is volatile, so it's hard to speculate until when and how high will to up. For me bitcoin is the best investment. Maybe by the end of the year it's price will double. So, it's better to buy and keep all the bitcoin that you can and wait for the big price hike.

i Agree that price will climb, but it wont reach 40k, it will reach 100k much faster than you think. The whole fiat system will go crazy, and gold and bitcoin will rise
I am sure bitcoin will go to $100,000 in a few years. Just imagine when it is as popular as visa or master card.

I think it is too early to open a thread for $40,000 specially when we even did not reach 10% of that yet $4000 ! I do believe that we will get there in the future . I don't know if we're going to see Bitcoin reaching $40,000 within the next few years, but it definitely has the chance to explode upwards as more people get involved, especially if there is more demand on par to what we're seeing in Japan right now. If that can happen, then $10,000 by the end of next year would not be impossible, but $40,000 would be stretching it. things are just getting started. people are always happy during rallies and when price is going up and like always as soon as the rise stops even if it doesn't fall they start being depressed about it for some weird reason!
in any case bitcoin has been on the path to at least $10000 for a very long time. and those who have seen this have been accumulating bitcoin on every turn as much as they can. and each month we can afford to buy less bitcoin as it becomes more expensive because more people figured this out!

That's a little over-the-top that particular time. Don't you think? I mean 52 5000 hasn't even happened yet. I think you definitely hit 10,000 or 20,000 in the next one to two years before you thousand is a little bit over-the-top.

It's very possible that bitcoin will see 40,000$ one day but I don't know if it will happen in the time frame you predicted. Don't get me wrong bitcoin has proven me wrong time in time again. We can only predict how will bitcoin work and how much its price is till then. I think you can't really do an all in in bitcoin because it is a volatile coin, but surely you can invest in whatever you want to risk to lose.
