Local authority? ll, what is that?

1. Dial 911 (or equivalent if you're one of the unfortunates Bitcoin criminals forced to live outside US).
2. Explain to the operator the depths of depravity that you have sunk to.
3. Stay on the line until the van arrives.
4. Walk out of your domicile slowly, with hands clearly visible and raised above your head.

You will be transported to the nearest appropriate agency.

I got through step 2.  After explaining everything, they are now asking for your contact information.  I pointed them at your post and they mentioned something about subpoenaing your IP address.

LOL when I saw the title of this thread I immediately assumed it was a joke, playing on the increased preponderance around here of discussion about "you idiots bullish on bitcoin are all a bunch of loozers and yer all gonna lose all yer monneys soon enough when yer beloved butt-coin crashes to zero" type of topics.

Making FUN of that is, I dare say, possibly the best & most recent sign yet that we're at full bottom capitulation and the next "positive story line" that might ignite a new rally upwards could (finally?) be gettin' started soon.

Either that, or as I posted elsewhere a while ago (link HERE) I suppose it's possible we'll still see a really frightening additional dip, maybe down into the 100's, before reclaiming longterm exponential log-scale trendline.

Or, yeah, ok ok trolls: yeah sure maybe everyone all over the world does totally STOP using bitcoin entirely, all at once, and BTC/$ goes to zero, and we all just decide to forget about the whole "blockchain thing" as if it was some kinda stoopid idea or a cheesy B-Movie "it was all just a bad dream" sub-plot device.

Sure.  Yup.  Could happen.  Absolutely.  And Monkeys Might Fly Out My Butt...

...
From 2020: Oh no, my bitcoin are worth less than zero! Where do I pay the fine? Does the Anti-Cryptocurrency Task Force take dollars?

Turn yourself in to your local authorities and pay it in person.
They might go easy on you.

crash below zero, does that mean people will actually pay me to take their bitcoin??

WTF I WANT CRASH BELOW ZERO NAOW

 Roll Eyes

If the price will crash to zero I will buy  a lot of bitcoin , that's sure.  I still believe in bitcoin and in its technology.

Cost below zero means the owner needs to give you incentive/money to get the coin off their hand. Of course everyone will "buy" below 0.

You're talking about a crash below zero (you say it could happen).  But that would mean you'd have to pay people to take your bitcoins.  That's seems quite unlikely to me.  Even if bitcoin hits zero (no one will pay you for them).  You can simply erase your bitcoin wallet for free---you don't have to pay anyone to get rid of them (which is what a below zero price would mean).

Below zero?

Yes Sad
You will be fined for each coin you own, filthy Bitcoiner...

...and sent to the gulags for rehabilitation.
First they have to find us all. I'll be sending the Bitcoin One out to securely evacuate all permabulls to the secret base.

edit: I don't really think bitcoin will crash below zero, but that doesn't mean it couldn't

How will Bitcoin crash below zero, you have to explain this to me.

There is a huge difference in what people think will happen.

Bitcoin is so unpredictable, that it's nearly impossible to imagine what way it will go.

I do not understand these two pictures, do you mean the price is going the bottom $257 and then the price reach $900 by rocket?

Both showing similar thing which is really just that we are still in a longish term down trend. The lower chart is similar but on a log price scale. As a long term perma bull I'm hoping bottom will be around that region where the bottom trendline is which is a long term bullish trend going back almost to the start of bitcoin.

I'm not really showing what happens after next, when rocket may take off, may post another chart later to show longer term bullish expectations.

Glad you're back bro... Short term speculation & long term should now be kept separate. I like how you made two graphs. Near perfect lines.
Personally, I covered all my shorts yesterday at 345~ but there is no doubt we are still in a long term downtrend.
With that being said, that is how I made all my money in the stock market by buying during the crash when nobody wanted any stock & talked about the dollar/US collapse.
Turned out to all be a gimic like always, after thinking about this & calculating the accumilation, I nibbled a few coins up today over 300 of them @ approx. 350
If we somehow do get near 330 I will go full leverage since as of right now a break below 300 is impossible & bounce to 400 is likely.
Good luck to all!  Kiss

Been ages since i posted here. An unfortunate loss of my password coupled with emails not coming through telling me the new one whenever I tried to change it has kept me locked out for months. Anyway after a moment of inspiration I suddenly remembered my password so here I am.

Thought I might aswell share my latest speculation on bitcoin price. In summary after the latest fall in price it looks pretty clear that the trend is still down, chart below shows Bitstamp data in US$ with 1 day candles.

On my log chart below, this is all fitting the picture I've had for some time now of a sideways, or slightly downwards consolidation. I still think the path shown by my arrows is likely kind of action. I first placed on that chart back in September when the price first fell into that channel and so far they have fitted the picture pretty well.

My feeling is that price trend is destined to eventually reverse back to the long term bullish trend probably where the bottom trendline lies. There will be more bitcoin bubbles in good time.

edit: I don't really think bitcoin will crash below zero, but that doesn't mean it couldn't
