I loves me these graphs. I loves me some bullish.

Let's take a bow to Satoshi and the other developers. They're far beyond brilliant. They're approaching Alan Turing brilliant. (Nikola Tesla and those who discovered DNA are probably still a slither above, but let's not spoil the fun, eh.)

To the banks, bitcoin is a torpedo coming right towards them. To them, it looks small, but they are fooled by the distance. Don't tell them.

Everyone should own a few bitcoins.

my rational:

the first bitcoin puts you in a group with a maximum membership of 21 million.  The second coin splits this group in half.

I think most people that aren't living in abject poverty could afford to lose $300.  The time is near when very few people will be able to "afford" 2 entire bitcoins (I'm thinking of people I know who have never had $3000 all at once in their whole lives).

Personally, I recommend that everyone own at least 2 as soon as possible.

Their is nothing irrational about the bitcoin market. everyone that gets into bitcoin finds out its better then gold, paypal and WN combined, if anything people know all these facts but are still to chicken shit to dump more than a tiny amount of their precious $ wealth, thats whats irrational about this market, and this WILL get corrected sooner than you realize.

Yup. The reward for overcoming fear in this market is gargantuan.

$1000 isnt 10-25 year away, its not 5 years away, its moments away!  Grin

True that!

1000$ 2013 optimistically, 2014 pessimistically

$1000 in 2014 probably, but Bitcoin first needs improvements like the payment request protocol up and running and the block limit made flexible.

I have no clue how long $1k is away. It could be tomorrow it could take a long time. All I predicted is that for the 10-25 years range Bitcoin is highly likely to at the very least run up to the $1k - $10k range.

Only if people pay that price.

Of course they will. I also pay 0.74 Euro for a Dollar.

Looking forward for the next bubble in the $1000 - $10k range!

People get excited or upset really easy with every price move...
but talking about a 1k-10k range...i mean come on...  Undecided

Let's talk again in 10-25 years.

I don't mean to be offensive but this range is also ridiculous.
Yup, if it's going to happen it will be in less than 5 years. We live in a very fast era.

Knowing how unpredictable Bitcoin can be, I think within 1 year is highly likely to see $1000.  10-25 years is too far.  Maybe $100,000 by then?  If it gets to that point. That might only take 5 years if Bitcoin really takes off though.

Markets can be irrational for a very long time. So don't make predictions for <10 years.

In 2013? Yes.
Before? No. Tongue

It was great since the day it came out.

It was always a good idea, it's just that we needed more adopters initially to get the ball rolling. No point having an idea if nobody uses it.

Bitcoin price is looking extremely attractive now. Remember, bitcoin money supply is just 2 billion USD at the moment. That is not much at all.

Do you mean 'time to cover' because someone is going to dump a couple thousand coins, or you mean something else?

It used to be artificially low because Pirateat40 was clowning about

Thats the turdbrain who got like 1/2 of the market price at that time, right? Man, If I had 40k bitcoin to play with.... I dream of the manipulative powers I'd have.

To start: Market sell to $135 backed by 10k wall xD

Are you sure you would be able to buy almost 15k BTC at average price around 130 back to have a tiny profit? Do you predict crash to $100 or lower in this kind of situation you described?
