Being an old thread. I did decide to see what the new post was about but was disappointed with noting relevant to say more about it being front page again.
Because with the ATH nearly here it should be in the front of all news media outlets again.
I doubt reddit will repeat an old story of 3 months ago to just recycle their page again now would they? Cheesy

But we all know that major media outlets just gobble this stuff up to make it to the 6 o'clock news as a breaking news story to gather notoriety amongst their other news media peers.

That is why the price was increased these days because of reddit that most of visited site world wide.. well i think more new users in bitcoin are come and use bitcoin right now and many people are buying more bitcoins because more people are seeing the movement of the price that actually you can seen that the price is gradually increasing.

It means that bitcoin is trending right now because the price of bitcoin is increase fast and i think if we hit 1k value like other said more attention by many people that we can be attracted to invest more people in bitcoin that can push the price more above 1k value.. i hope they can notice the benefits that we are getting in bitcoin..

We all speculated that it will reach $800 before the year's end, and it did just that before christmas. Then now our next milestone is $1,000 before the end of the year! I am quite sure that if it is being covered, that there will indeed follow a wave of panic buyers looking to make quick profits. But once things have calmed down, these people will lose out big time as they mostly buy at the peaks. It's called learning an expensive lesson as blindly buying isn't any different from gambling.

Media all over world is starting to show case bitcoin and I think we should be happy about it. Good to see new people getting interested in bitcoin. I hope they will take the time and the efforts to understand the technology rather than trying to make some quick bucks. Gambling to make bitcoin is dangerous, gambling should be done for entertainment only.

Some of those comments are from the people who have closed their minds on the possibilities and the potential of the technology. Not to mention the potential profits that can be made with it. I admit that back in 2012 when I have first heard about Bitcoin, I was one of the doubters and brushed it off as nothing but a fad. When I saw it rise to $1000 at the end of 2013 I was amazed and vowed not to become closed minded ever again. So now I am here buying Bitcoin whenever there is a "discount".

Lol it sounds like a bunch of old people that would usually sit around and complain about other cultures and what their grandchildren do for fun these days. Just 100% uneducated but trying to make a post about it anyways.

every time bitcoin price goes up or even down everyone starts to go crazy about everything. this time the price rise isn't even as big as 2013 and everyone is talking about some big price jump out of nowhere.

i hope we stop doing this and start talking about bitcoin more when price is stable too. we should have at least one topic in the front page of reddit every day not just price related.

But I must say that after reading the post on reddit, Peoples opinion on bitcoin are halfed with both positive and negative which is realistic and obvious to happen. Before I got into Bitcoin early this year I read a lot of predictions about Bitcoin for this year some experts predict $1000 to $2000 and after following the price chart I just knew it will hit $900 although not yet $1000 but will soon be and from then not only Reddit will cover this news.

If that is the case then lets hold all of our earned bitcoins and wait for this moment. It is a good news to me who is doing a signature campaign because it means additional income. Bitcoins value going skyrocket is an event that we are all waiting for, it will also mean that more users will engage in bitcoin due to its increasing price.

Reddit is another big promotion for bitcoin hope more people will promote bitcoin online as well as the local TV networks.

It will be good for bitcoin. Since bitcoin surge to $900, i've seen many news about bitcoin. Some of that are good and some are bad. But this is good advertisement for bitcoin. Reddit is a bigtime forum. Many people will read this so i hope it has a positive effect on the price.

this is a great news for bitcoin and it always gets this big whenever "price" is moving up which makes me both happy and sad. happy because of course who doesn't love a price rise but also i am sad because it shows that most people are only looking at bitcoin as a speculation tool, to trade and make $$$ not as a currency.

It is a fact. You can check the Bitcoin chart if you want. With that logic I would expect most of the active traders to stop buying because of the fear of losing some of their gains. Bitcoin might plateau in the coming weeks and could even crash slightly giving us another opportunity to buy and hold some more.

There is a couple of thousand people chatting about it on a non bitcoin forum (not the btc sub-reddit) , I would say this is pretty great news as people can now see it was the best investment of 2016 and it is on course to be the best investment of 2017....

This is the best news in this year for bitcoiners. Bitcoin value from the past years got increased 4x, Those who buy cheap bitcoin from the past are millionaires now. So lucky of them trusting bitcoin to bloom from the cryptoworld. We hope bitcoin will increased more on 2017. This year will make a history on bitcoin. Many people now know bitcoin and make bitcoin a primary source of income in there life.
