It has been increasing in the past few days but it's in correction. For now, it has been rising steadily and hopefully would reach the All-time high again. But probably in the end of September or in October, this is just a speculation.

I think we are still looking at low price compared to the long term potential of Bitcoin. I mean what 2-3% of the population are aware of Bitcoin and maybe even less own it? Once we hit 10% I think we are going to be off to the races!

I think your estimates are on the high side. Most recents estimates on the total number of people who own any bitcoin at all is something less than 1/50th of a % of the population.

https://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/questions/50849/beginning-2017-what-estimate-of-individuals-own-bitcoin

As for how many are aware of it, that's even harder to estimate, but I'd be very surprised if it's 2-3%. That many may have heard the term 'bitcoin', but I'd guess it's more like 1/100 or less who actually have an awareness of what it is in reality.

Very interesting links your provided. That being the case, I'm very glad to be wrong!

Once crypto becomes as easy as buying a soda, I'd imagine price would have several more 0's after it than it does today :-)

Probably there a lot more people coming in into the bitcoin community and try to understand how you could make money with it because mostly people only want that. I have read somewhere that if the price easily increases, the counterpart of it will probably faster in decreasing speed. We would never know how much can the bitcoins price go down.
