I would say Sadly yes.
Presently investors have full control over BTC prices. They are successful in distorting the real mean of bitcoin as currency. Now it is on mode of becoming store of value just similar to Gold or other metals.
It is pretty difficult for me to explain people how to use their bitcoin in real as transaction fees is too much for ordinary transactions.

If u want to save money means u can save interm of bitcoin right. So it's only a good thing not a bad one.Like a gold ,we can also inverse here.

Probably because bitcoin has not been regulated so that everything is still held by some who have been dabbling from the beginning with the thing bitcoin
yeah, most investors are spectical about putting thier money on bitcoin where it is still not yet stable and yet has unknown faith, goverments have yet to regulate it either by banning it or accepting it, and that makes bitcoin now only a quick investment with a small cap and not an industrie that has a cap of billions of dollars.

The rate at which Bitcoin is growing makes it one of the favorites of investors as investors are constantly looking for places where they can put their money and can earn good returns. What better place they can find than Bitcoin. Investment is completely safe and potential gains are very high.

But at the same time, Investors want a diversified portfolio, and that means branching out into Ethereum and the other top altcoins to hedge the risk in bitcoin price fluctuations.

I`m wondering how many bitcoins does Jeremy Liew hold.
He is one of the major btc supporters, but is there a way for Shapchat to adopt bitcoin in the future?
The Snapchat service won`t be 100% free forever.
Anyway,i think that the political climate helps the cryptocurrency growth only a little bit and
bitcoin would grow even if everything is perfect in the world economy and politics.

Imagine there are tons of people out there using snapchat application for free. If they make it paid to use and accept bitcoin, this might trigger another good thing for bitcoin.

Bitcoin is market driven right from the very start and so with limited supply and increasing demand there is always that tendency for this currency to go up, up and away. The current value is already good but there is more aces in the Bitcoin's sleeves that can be revealed after the purported August One Event.

We should hope that there would be no split so that those nasty scenarios concocted by many will just remain to be unfounded scenarios. How will Bitcoin fare in the coming days and months is all tied up to the successful implementation of Segwitx2.

Well, if it comes to that investors should be where the larger volumes are, then everyone should invest in the Forex market. But knowing that this will never happen, it will always be interesting to approach an option with as much future as cryptocurrencies. I do not know if bitcoin necessarily represents the best option for any investor right now, or if its potential is sufficient to cover the big capitals of the world, but al least as a valid option to diversify a good portfolio of investments, for sure bitcoin can be a great option.

The title seems to mean that the investors are controlling the price of Bitcoin Grin

Nonetheless, I agree that Bitcoin is where the investors wants it to be. Most investors (if not all) wants the price of Bitcoin to increase tremendously and based from the current price of Bitcoin, it is on the right spot. These investors, just like Liew, are big time investors and constantly monitoring the trend of Bitcoin cent by cent. That's why they can predict Bitcoin's price with high probability and they can decide correctly with every decision they make in relation to Bitcoin.

Investors are also looking at the alt coins solutions... BTC needs to improve on many aspects so it can grow and attract a larger number of investors... there are many issues still needed to be solved.
This is true, investors would really see each aspect of bitcoin and if they would find out the flaws or issues then they will might jump on another ship which is ETH.There are lots of news i do read like on adoption of megaupload, snapchat etc. but seems no one still been implemented or been done.If these thing will be done then expect for price to surge up.

Seriously fear about bitcoin's condition now. I don't know be happy to see the bitcoin price and adoption rate increasing or worry about providers are looting bitcoin making us paying high fees transaction. Now in LBC to deposit a bitcoin also we need to pay for it.

I wouldn't say that the adoption rate is increasing as well, I think it's more of the rapid price increase and the amount of money that's being pumped into BTC and other cryptos as part of this huge bubble that is bound to pop at some point. The price increasing is bound to happen in a bull market like we're in now, there's nothing we can say or do about it.

Investors want to be where-ever the gains are, and Bitcoin is where the gains are right now so that's ALSO BOUND to happen. Though, I do think a lot of investors are also looking for less volatility to if people aren't keen on opening themselves up to THIS MUCH RISK they're just not going to go with bitcoin.

It certainly is where investors want to be. A lot of volume is happening in bicoin.

The more and more short term sellers who get into btc the more the price will stabilize. Iknow that sounds counter productive. But essentially the short sellers attract the holder and long term investors. It is a signal when short term investors get in that long term will say "hmm maybe I should look at this".

The long term investors need some up and down for them to want to get in. So they will wait until btc goes down to a certain price then buy in. As the price dips every so often they will buy in(caused by the short term investors). Eventually there will be soo many long term investors that the price dips will happen less often and won't go down by as much, it will stablize the market. If BTC price keeps going up steadily you can count on that being a great signal long term investors are getting in, that means that they will drive price up for a longgggg time.

The best time to buy was years ago, the second best time is now Smiley

Whether I'm right or wrong I don't know. In an article came to know that Snapchat is with plans of making their ICO crowdsale and it's been under progress to take effect and the particular token will be used as the payment source for Snapchat as well the application developed by them.

Pioneering Snapchat investor Jeremy Liew has stated that Bitcoin is the place to be for investment today.

Speaking to CNBC, Liew, who in April forecast a Bitcoin price of $500,000 by 2030, suggested recent price advances were just the beginning for the virtual currency.

"If you're going to be an investor in anything, you want to be where the most trading volume is happening, and right now that's happening in Bitcoin," he explained.

Liew has been a bullish Bitcoin proponent as one part of Lightspeed Venture Partners, the VC firm that funded Blockchain’s initial development in 2014 when it was still known as Blockchain.info.

Given 2017’s political climate, the kind of prices seen recently is a beginning, not an end, Liew forecasts.

"Bitcoin and the other digital currencies, they all really see a lot of benefit in times of political and economic instability," Liew continued.

"Fundamentally, when a citizen doesn't have faith in the currency of their country, then they are looking for alternatives, and a digital alternative like bitcoin becomes much more compelling in those circumstances."

Liew joins various well-known commentators who have weighed in on the future value of Bitcoin in recent weeks. While their estimates have ranged from $5000 to $1 mln within ten years, Liew held off from further predictions.
