The Drilldown:

1) He's called "Bitcoin Jesus" (Dunno where that came from but apparently he's an ex-U.S. citizen and an ex-convict.)
2) He's offering a condo in the Caribbean that's low taxes (almost zero is what the article is saying)
3) The government of the country where this place is, the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis, is pretty cool at attracting investors. Spend $400,000 on real estate and you can get a passport that's accepted in 120 countries.

Yeah, "pretty cool".

Research what they did for the people who held funds in epassporte.

The topic title was interesting
Gave this article a read and well a Caribbean Condo sounds nice
Plunk down $400,000 for real estate and you get a passport that allows visa-free travel to 120 countries.
Pretty cool stuff before the laws someday change Smiley

This is the land of wolves now & you're not a wolf
He is trying to stay away from the United States most likely because he feels that most of the more high profile BTC players have gotten bogus criminal and civil charges against them.

The love of fiat is the root of all good
"Currently, I am working full time to make the world a better, less violent place by promoting the use of Bitcoin.
Bitcoin totally strips away the State’s control over money. It takes away the vast majority of its power to tax, regulate, or control the economy in any way. If you care about liberty, the nonaggression principle, or economic freedom in general you should do everything you can to use Bitcoin as often as possible in your daily life."

There's the important bit, for those who won't take the time to read the article.

Meh, freedom's overrated.  What the world really wants is protection, safety, and security from these dangerous hooligans.

LOL, I don't know what sane Bitcoin user would go to North Korea anyway. But I do like the attraction of their Libertarian (read: They don't care if you sell explosives on eBay like this "Bitcoin Jesus" apparently did as long as it hurts no one) policies.

Well said my blessed servant.  I can't believe they gave him probation after being caught selling firecrackers.  What is this world coming to?

Maybe Snowden will finally be able to travel. Perhaps we should set up a kickstarter to raise the $250k?

Yep, definitely interested in this at some point. Now, does the passport allow you entrance into North Korea? Cheesy
