I dont understand how people keep cards cool that are next to each other?

Mine can't run 100% except on risers.

I have this directly on my rig. I can overclock it to the max without risers.

I think I'm in Smiley

The cards are practically brand new, not used for very long at all, and there is value added in the fact that I actually replaced a couple of cards out of the 12 cards total (11 x 7950, 1 x 7970) which were faulty or didn't hold up to the stress tests, so you know you are avoiding duds.

Ball park price is hardware cost, which I can show with receipts, which includes a month's worth of labor and testing discounted. In general I'm flexible, and if I get a good vibe we can work something out, I simply have to move some of these rigs I got too many stressing my electrical Smiley

There's too many specs for me to list that's why I asked you to PM me. If you can afford it, and are looking to invest in mining, guaranteed you'll be getting a great deal.

All 4 rigs running at highly efficient settings do ~6.5MH LTC, if you max it out it will hit ~7.5MH.

any ballpark price yet?

i'd make an offer, but i think my value for used 7950 and 7970's is lower than most other ppls (maybe 75% of current retail value, instead of 110%)

Good question  Smiley

When it comes to dual fan cards which circulate air internally I make sure the motherboard has spacing of at least one slot between cards and with the right case I can move air efficiently through and out. If they are too close it messes up the aerodynamics completely. It's also helps to use a case with 8+ slots for that extra space.

When the cards are sandwiched with no space the trick is to use blower style cards, which eject the hot air directly out the back. You'll notice though on my 4 card setup the last card is actually a 7970 triple fan card, which works because it has room to breathe between it and the psu.

Ofcourse undervolting, underpowering and underclocking helps control temps too, while still getting great speeds (to my surprise). My best rig runs 3 7950's at under 70 degrees each, generating 1.55mh+ litecoin mining at 525 watts stable, about 3KH / watt. And if I throw in a couple risers I can probably get it near 4KH / watt.

That being said an open air setup with risers will likely be cooler and can be maxed out, but I find that if you are paying electricity and not looking to over speculate and risk frying your hardware, then there is a butter zone which yields best hash/watt, cool temps and yields 80-90% of maxed out settings.

I built and stress tested 4 rigs successfully for the entire past month. All run extremely stable. Generated over $1000 in net mining profit (after electricity costs) in less than a month. Each rig is slightly different. If you are in the Pennsylvania / New York City area I'm selling these units fully functional ready to mine with all newegg receipts and warranties. Flexible in terms of payment. Selling as a group or in singles. You need to be local because I'm not shipping these. PM me your number if interested.
