any chance for the source? since I've been using Facebook since high school I'm intrigued about this their stricter protocols. I remember in the past they announced having stricter rules against ads and misleading posting(heard the news in youtube) but seeing that there are still a lot of misleading posts going around on their website I guess Facebook didn't really put much effort on extinguishing these misleading posts.

as for google, google CEO also needs to be called out for advertising phishing sites on their website endangering unsuspecting users.

It's very ambitious of them to use the president as a front for their scam. the article even said that the president is urging it citizen to learn about bitcoin "lifestyle"

Yep. May ganon ang facebook na makikita nila kung ano yung binobrowse mo kaya maya maya lang maymakikita ka ng ads about dun. Nakaallow siguro sa settings mo yun. Try to check your settings tapos punta ka sa ad personalization o ads lang mismo sa settings & privacy then ireview mo yung mga nakalagay dun, kung pwede iturnoff, ioff mo.

Perhaps, it was because of that. Not sure, kabayan pero feeling ko may kinalaman 'yan sa cookies. You can read 'bout it naman under legal and policies.

Here's the process para mabasa mo 'yong about doon:

Facebook -> Menu -> Settings -> Cookies Policy.

Now to clear it (not permanently), punta ka again sa settings then click off-facebook activity then i-clear mo lahat ng pu-pwede i-clear doon, and i-clear mo rin 'yong data or 'yong cookies sa fb application itself, same thing sa browser na nagamit mo nung nabuksan mo 'yong link. And one more thing, turn-off mo na lang rin 'yong future off-facebook activity mo.

Not sure kabayan ah, 'yan lang alam ko Cheesy

. To stop it completely, then better if iiwasan mo 'yong pag-ki-click sa mga ganiyang ads para 'di mo na sila mae-encounter again and again.

Don't bet on it. Platforms like facebook and google are always late to act on these things. It will take massive reporting before they take an action. Like what @Baofeng said, scammers are clever in bypassing whatever security measures these platforms put up. Safe to say that they are one or two step ahead most of the time.

The best practice is still educating oneself on legit and scam investments.

Tama, kailangan talaga natin i-educate ang mga sarili at gamitin ang common sense para hindi tayo maging biktima sa mga ganitong stratehiya ng mga scammers.

Kailangan din natin magtulong tulong bilang isang komunidad na mag report ng mga scam sites sa Google o i direcho na mismo sa domain registrar ng mga ito, sandali lang naman at hindi kakain ng ilang minuto ang proceso ng pag-rereport.

this is quite common. if you try watching on a website that illegally shows movies, tv-series or anime etc.. you'll see a lot of article like this. there is even a link that redirects you to an article showing Duterte or other popular celebrity advertising a pyramid scheme or HYIP.

Parang may dumaan na ganito sa feed ko few weeks ago pero ignore ko lang. Caption pa lang ng picture halata ng pang-click bait lang at most likely scam. Isa pa, granted na may alam nga siya about bitcoin at cryptocurrencies in general, Sec. Dominguez isn't allowed to talk about such things publicly dahil isa siyang Government official serving at the pleasure of the Philippine President.

As I read the article, it talks about cryptocurrency and Bitcoin Loophole, which I think is a scam.
What's alarming is they are using Carlos Dominguez our secretary of Finance para lang manloko ng mga tao, just want to get your opinion, do you guys read similar fake articles from scammers?
