"The Register" prides itself in being the king of snark. Every article is written with that "raised-eyebrow-sneer" that comes from an aloof and emotionally inept web 2.0 'geek' trying to be edgy. They hate most things, it seems. I wouldn't put too much stock into their coverage of bitcoin or anything else, for that matter.

People should realize they don't HAVE to always have an opinion ready... and that if they don't know enough about a subject, they should just look into it before judging.I can literally not see a single way how Bitcoin would be defined as 'Web2.0'.
