The basic idea is interesting, maybe it needs to be fixed a bit, but have you thought about whether this kind of sales are regular in every state where the platform is used?  How are you doing legally?

Any advice welcome, we want to start something mainstream which shows the masses that bitcoin can be used
literally for anything.

Thanks guys

Out of the above lists by bitcoindust, It depends on your budget, but paid adverts would get you immediately what you need. Working with SEO would consume so much money, and the results won't manifest easily. Get untop with google Adwords and expose the site to both parties, store owners and buyers. Hence, staying in the market for long term should be your concern, as the market changes it could change for the good of bitcoin ecommerce stores, and you won't get left behind. Another strategy which is not on that list is email marketing. It'll be wrong for clients to visit a store with few store owners. With the help of mass email from an expert; getting the attention of store owners could be of help to your growth. Consider scrapping emails on IG or company websites. It's more effective and you'd see more results.

First of all you need to be easily discovered by people or merchant searching for such service so I may suggest that you give thought on

  • Search Engine Optimization
  • Social Media Marketing
  • Content Marketing
  • Paid advertising
  • PR and Influencer Marketing
  • Affiliate Marketing.

Security of course should be the priority and some suggestion had been given by the earlier reply.  But any good or better service will be in vain if they are not discovered by target audience.

NO ONE KNOWS THE DETAILS
If you're implying that your website is impenetrable to hackers, then it's safe to say that such a thing doesn't exist [in general] and while we're at it, I'd like to divert your attention to "seoincorporation's concern" with regard to the way you're planning to store funds [nothing about that awful platform represents safety and security]!

No one can drain the wallets its 2fa and if anyone knows the details? NO ONE KNOWS THE DETAILS
@bitcoinbayshop
I had a quick glance at some of the settings for the vendors and as it stands, anybody that knows their login details can easily drain their wallets [you might want to add 2FA (preferably not through SMS or email)]!

I also noticed we can literally add anything as our address: Screenshot

Hello bitcoinbayshop, i was taking a look to the About page and found this:

Your Payment Is Safe And Secured

You’re payments with Bitcoin Bay will always be safe and secure. We use Blockchain.com to hold all funds.

I would say is a bad idea to have all the users' funds on a web wallet. There are more secure ways to handle the customers' money, and this can break the trust of a lot of them.

This kind of EShops aren't new at all, I mean, you are using wordpres with woocommerce... I have done some of those in the past. But I would like to know what plugin you use or how do you manage the bitcoin payments?

Things like this could be sustainable globally if you have enough people earning bitcoins and coming to your shop to spend them instead of converting their national currencies to Bitcoin before spending... unless you have very useful things that can't be easily found anywhere else.. or sell things in somewhat fixed price in national currencies that are always adjusted automatically to their equivalent prices in Bitcoin.

Hope this is okay to post here.

We have setup bitcoinbay.shop

This is a website just like ebay to sell, buy and earn.

Bitcoin is the only crypto taken. We will be running an escrow service so this will protect buyers and sellers.

Selling fees are set to 5% for the first month, minimum withdrawal is $25 direct to your wallet.

Any advice welcome, we want to start something mainstream which shows the masses that bitcoin can be used
literally for anything.

Thanks guys
