Announcing MyEtherWallet v3.24.00: Difficulty Bomb&Updating blockchain

Due to the complexity of the Bomb and the increased risk of hacking, we pushed a rather drastic update that implements a number of changes and improvements, including enhancement of efficiency and scalability of the blockchain, acceleration of transaction speed, and additional security in the form new formats private keys which will help protect users against hacking.
If you are using private key or UTC, then you need to go into the wallet and update manually, otherwise they risk being unprotected.

How do i update my Ethereum wallet?

1. Go to our website MyEtherWallet.com
2. Unlock your wallet using your Keystore File (UTC / JSON) or simply use your private key.
3. Click Unlock and wait for the update.

Please note that you need to manually update your wallet, failure to do so may result in funds being lost.

We are taking these measures to protect both you and our network from phishing and malicious attacks.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding!
MyEtherWallet Security Team.

If you use other methods, then ignore this message.

Try using Coin Desk or Research Desk, there might be ample data to help you out with your research. If these are not enough, then try looking for more sites on the internet.

Try Quandl and spreadsheetio, they have availability and access of storing raw data, spreads, and mining information as files. The interpretation you are searching for is most suited with these, hope it works for you. Do have a look.

As I Know coindesk is the best place where you can find out the historical data for bitcoin. You can also visit the blockchain marketplace here you can find out this types of data. I think both of this are good for you.

I am doing some data analysis and would like to know if I can find historical data for coinmarketcap markets page (https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin/#markets) where BTC volume is listed for each exchange and trading pair. So far I could not find it and I hope I could get some guidance here.

I tried also Exchanges APIs but some exchanges who showed high volume recently (E.g. coinsuper) do not provide historical data. And trying to crawl data from individual exchanges is not infeasible for the timeframe I have

 Thanks in advance,

Maybe this can help you out: https://coinmarketcap.com/historical/.

You have to go one by one (by year), but it pretty much have all the data from 2013-2018. Goodluck.

You can try 99bitcoins, Poloniex, bitcoinity etc for Bitcoin related precise news and figures. However, if you want to know per day volume exchanged on ther market I think spreadsheetio is the best. It has all the necessary information available and also very user friendly.

There is site called spreadsheetio which stores raw tick data, OHLCV, spreads, mining and economic statistics as CSV files. You can also try Quandl and Kaiko who has accurate interpretation of the data you are looking for.
