Let's see the market prediction by crypto community.

There's no doubt that before next year major event that will cause the market to rise to all time high, bitcoin is going to $40k or more before the end of this year, this can happen at any time just as others have suggested, bitcoin being a volatile currency will always appears appreciating in value always no matter the deep, while next year is going to be a breath taking experience for the bull market for a new all time high.
Indeed, you are right because next year has entered the era of the halving period, so we can be sure that according to the experience that has been carried out so far, bitcoin will have movement to increase.but next year will not reach the highest point of increase because ATH will occur a year after the halving era, which will fall in 2025.But for the end of this year, it could be what you predict will happen: bitcoin will reach $40K, which is in preparation for a real increase in the next year.
It must also be remembered that it is possible that in the next few months there will be a correction, and that is a natural thing.

$1 million is a very high price, I never thought we would get to that price, let's think and see this realistically and I think the Bitcoin price is a market game that some groups continue to make to attract bidders to keep believing and investing on Bitcoin, regardless of whether it will benefit a group or not but the movement continues to occur as what has happened in the past.

Realistically nobody thought we could be at the price Bitcoin is trading today so don't doubt like how others were doubting in the past and missed the opportunity of investing in Bitcoin when it was nothing. We can get to $1 million but it won't be in this bull market happening.

If Bitcoin can trade at $200,000 by the end of the bill market or maybe it teaches $150,000 it means with we'll be lesser than 10x to get to a $1 million trading price in future bull runs. It could be in the next 3 bull market or maybe in the next 5 bull market but it'll happen one day.

The only time I don't see Bitcoin trading at $1 million is if Bitcoin dies due to too much pressure from the government but that's unlikely going to happen as Bitcoin can't crumble but will stand and fight the government until they are the ones to give up and embrace Bitcoin.

Let's see the market prediction by crypto community.

.
Ask me what might be the price of bitcoin over the course of four years ago with respect to the current ATH,I wouldn’t have guessed it to have reached $60k, not a chance. At the time, it seemed something that wasn’t going to happen within the time frame.
Now, if we are to cap what could be the maximum price of bitcoin, I would say it’s much too early for that as, bitcoin is still young in our todays society and have got more years to count it’s values.

The most we could expect or try to get insight into is the goods the next halving could bring which could break the current existing ATH and create a new ATH.
So, you could as well be actively hodling till that happens and have no course for regrets over wrong decisions.

Let's see the market prediction by crypto community.
At the beginning of the 2023 there was so much expectation in the price of bitcoin rising towards the previous ATH,  I was one of those that had high hope on BTC hitting 60k+ by the end of the year but looking at current circumstances surrounding  the crypto market that may not be possible. The 31k price BTC got to recently shouldn't raise traders expectations, if we can get a rate at 45k by the end of the year we should be grateful.

I don't think there is a maximum size for the price of bitcoin, as long as the community continues to grow while the stock in the market is difficult to increase because it has been determined then the price of $ 1 million will be cheap if it is reached, just like in 2013 when I first heard about bitcoin that time the analysts said that the price $10k is the maximum price, but $10k was reached in 2017 and even in 2021 it touched $68k.
But the pool is about how high the price will go during this year, so even if the potential of bitcoin is basically unlimited, when you add such a time limit then the maximum price of bitcoin becomes way more limited, I still think 40k is the highest we can reach this year as this is not even the year in which the halving will take place, so we cannot really expect bitcoin to surpass its previous all time high before such an important event even takes place.
I'm not even expecting it to reach $40k because I don't see the price being strong enough to go up about $11k in the next few months because the price was above $30k for a very long time but it couldn't manage to go up from there and finally dropped below $30k, now I expect it to drop even further, maybe touch $25k or even lower sides because the resistance level above $30k was way too strong for it to be able to cross and go towards $40k.

We should expect a correction from this point, and then it will take a couple more months to recover from that because people aren't expecting the market to enter the bull run before next year when halving will occur and no one would invest before that unless the price drops too low for everyone to use the opportunity in their favor.

Bitcoin has gone from $17k to $30k in just the first 3 months of the year, so for bitcoin to go from $30k to $40k, I think it won't be as difficult as you say. I still remember that, as we move into the new year 2023, most people continue to be pessimistic that it will be a year of more dumping. But suddenly happened, bitcoin skyrocketed before the suspicion of everyone, including me. It wasn't until it hit $30k that people believed it was not a trap but a real recovery. Bitcoin is unpredictable, so I think we have to plan for both scenarios instead of just focusing on one-way predictions.

It's never wrong to wish $100k was the maximum price bitcoin might reach this year - but really I don't think that's a realistic value to be true. $40k is a price that has a better chance of being reached in 2023 - but even higher values are still very likely. Before the end of the year comes - I guess we just need to brace for some correction, but I don't expect $25k to be tested again even though bitcoin hasn't broken the $32k - $35k resistance level so far.

$40k is very realistic to expect even if bitcoin goes into a correction. After all there are still 5 months left in 2023 - so there must be something good to look forward to given that bitcoin is also steadily approaching its halving.
For this year and even on next years to come then there's no way that we could be able to predict on what would be the price on every year end, what matter most on here is that we do see progress or changes on every

month or year passing. Maximum price is never been known and we dont even able to believe that bitcoins price hits up 69k on peak or ATH and now we've been able to see the market corrected on 15k price point
on which it had never been anticipated for to happen. Now that we are seeing recovery then to those people who had risked out on buying into those lower prices are actually making 2x the profits now which it isnt
really that bad specially if you had accumulated on that particular time.Still its not really that too late on making such step considering now that we arent still on a bull run yet.

Lots of us in the community would really be that expecting for Bitcoins price to hit up x3 or more in the upcoming BR. Price point? Everything would really be random as always but it
would be wise on making your position now while its not still too late.

The likely outcome seems to be "higher", that's what people believe for bitcoin. The realistic approach says 40k, and I understand that I feel the same way as well, I believe that 40k would possibly be where we are at. Even if not exactly that much, it could be like 38k or 43k or something, which means it will be closer to 40k than any other price in the poll. Second highest rated is above 60k+ and that is just very optimistic, not saying that it would be impossible, of course its possible for something like that to happen as well but I believe that its going to be pretty difficult to achieve. This is why its quite important to see what we could end up doing with the money we have, and in either case its going up, so its smart to buy now.

Many people claim that bitcoin is worth $ 1 million or even more, the security system, speed and many other features make bitcoin supposed to be very expensive, if more and more users will feel the benefits when they want to transact with bitcoin.
It doesn't matter with the claims that many people make against Bitcoin, because not everyone will believe those claims. Especially if those who listen to these claims are people who have known Bitcoin for a long time, surely they will not immediately believe these claims even though they have clear grounds for this.

Apart from that it is a fairly high price, some people or beginners will not be able to buy it with a larger amount because a price that is too high can only please a large number of Bitcoin depositors, while those who have not bought will not be happy with it, thus making new buyers less in Bitcoin

There is always a chance that the price of bitcoin may progressively rise as the time for its halving approaches. 5 months is a very long time, and news on the crypto market could be both positive and negative, which could influence the price of bitcoin before the year is over.
Based on the price range that bitcoin has been trading in for the past few months ($29–$31k), a $40k price is what may be anticipated for many

I'm not really sure what you mean by security system, blockchain though uptime is 99.99%. And it really depends on how we put bitcoin into safety, because there are hackers everywhere in this market.

Globally, it might be a slow process to get more users into the system because admit it or not, there are a lot of people that is going against Bitcoin and even had at as their priority to destroy Satoshi's invention because they don't like for individuals to have control and more freedom.

As we gets closer to halving every 4 years and bitcoin getting limited and people are fighting it out, the basic economic law of supply and demand will take it's effect on the market. So let's see, maybe 2-3 halvings from now we will see 7 figures.

The opinions or predictions of people who join this community are of course different because each member has a different prediction about the price of Bitcoin. It is important to remember that the Bitcoin market is highly volatile making it difficult to predict accurately what the maximum price of Bitcoin will be in the future. The rate of adoption that continues to increase will have a positive impact on increasing Bitcoin prices due to the increasing interest of new buyers exploring Bitcoin.
Until now Bitcoin still has the largest market cap value in the crypto market, Bitcoin has been able to sustain itself for many years and managed to maintain its ranking. The maximum price prediction Bitcoin can test new highs and will trade above the prices released today.

This year I’m going to say $45,000 max. 2025 is when the real fireworks start in my opinion but we are entering a new bull market now, the ascent in price should begin shortly. It’s very early days in this bull market though so don’t expect miracles in 2023. We should end this year well though.

Bitcoin price may reach as high as $55k in 2023. Because the price of Bitcoin did not increase much in the year before Bitcoin halving. But by 2025, the price of Bitcoin may increase overnight and reach one hundred thousand dollars.
2020 was the time of the Bitcoin halving. But in 2021 the price of Bitcoin increased overnight to 69k dollars in 2021 without increasing the price of Bitcoin. So bitcoin halving next year bitcoin price will enter bull market and fireworks will be born.

After analysing the market, I don't think the price of Bitcoin could reach $50k since the market had been ranging and falling for the past months. I believe the price of Bitcoin would go up gradually and it is not something that price will suddenly increased immediately like some persons are thinking. Maybe the price of Bitcoin will not exceed $40k at the end of this year but not minding what could happen in the market because all what we have been doing is just predictions that we need to understand about the market. Anyhow the market moves will determine whether we are right based on the speculations we have written.
When it comes to limits or potential price then there's no way that we could be able to concluded on where it would really be its end price or maximum price on which we arent still on a phase yet when it comes on recognition and overall adoption and only just few on entire world population who does know about Bitcoins existence. This is why it would really be that not just right on making out some conclusions about on the price because it cant really be that known or having those numbers because market is really that volatile and unpredictable and there's no way on knowing on what would be its endgame. Therefore, it would really be ideal that you should really know on when to get in and when to get out but in speaking about long term holds then it would really be your
choice because there are people who are accumulating for long term hold.

No such thing.
If we would base on demand and supply, we can infere that the market price of Bitcoin should be limitless or skies the limit as long as there is an unending increase with the demand in it. But if there will be a lomit I think it is around $200k I guess, why? 'coz fees would be high as well at that point. Just my speculations; as we saw the market price of Bitcoin reached its ATH, gas fees became high as well which could be a factor to a lower demaand by that time. But who knows, this technology is still in progress ans with regards to gas fees, it can be aided.

If there are no limitations you can infere that bitcoin will make bitcoin will make $1M. But there is no project or market that is so seamless without difficulties. There are price challenges, there are fundamental challenges, government attack and lots more. So the journey to upward trend will at every time meet difficulties.

Saying about demand and supply. It is understandable that the market will not always be on the demand phase. Despite that bitcoin was designed to be scarce, there king of cryptocurrency also has competitors (altcoins). No matter how genuine and reliable the bitcoin opportunity is, some people still prefer altcoins at some point in their investment.

I do not see the option of below $60k in the list, so how I can vote? Grin
Vote all the options below 60k (30k, 40k, 50k).
Or you can request to OP to add a new option.  Cheesy

But I am thinking about $40k-$50k for the Bitcoin maximum price for this year because reaching $60k for this year is a bit taugh although it still possible.
Agree. The price seems to not above 60k. Since Bitcoin price looks very difficult to increase quickly, we can assume the price won't move significantly from the current price. We are in July, the end of this year is only 5 months left. I'm not sure if Bitcoin can increase more than 20k in the next 5 months. I predict the maximum price is just about 40k-45k.

Better to mind off about 10k increments overtime and wont really be talking about on prices that we arent able to achieve. We know that this market is unpredictable and so as with Bitcoins price. There's no way
that we could be able to determine or know on how far it would be able to reach out. There's no maximum numbers but everything would really be depending or according into the recognition of the community.
This isnt something that could be known by someone and this is why investment would really be a certain risks if ever you are tending to accumulate or you are really trading it.
This is why on the time that you do make out such step then its better to go with the flow like the waves. Expect the unexpected as always because price could go up and down without
even realizing on whats the real reason within those movements.

The recent price of bitcoin is above 30k$ and as we all know that not a single person has an accurate Knowledge about the future so everyone can make prediction but truth is unrevealed. We examine that from previous 2 or 3 days the price remains higher so if the demands remains higher the price will go more up and very soon it will touch 40k$.

Before the entrance of new year the price in my opinion will be higher and in next year it will go more up and up because of halving and increasing demand for bitcoin. It is also possible that till the end of this year bitcoin reaches the price of 50k$ because everyone wants to be a part of it and take benefit of halving so the the price will be maximum and will reach up to 50k$ this year.

Instead of just being a basic prediction of prices, it’s best to test out and determine it by categories such as bitcoin maximalist, altcoin holder, and any other category and see how it plays out. It is kind of boring to have the same thing over and over again.

I am a mix of bitcoin maximalist and altcoin holder but more of leaning towards BTC max because that’s the majority of my HODLings. Just cherry picken coins for HODL.

$999999 is the max price.  Cheesy

Although it is very difficult to accurately predict the price of bitcoin, I estimate that the top price of Bitcoin could reach $50k by the end of this year. And, Not only that, I also speculate that Bitcoin price could reach $80k by 2024.
The speculation that you say can indeed be very reasonable and I am also optimistic about an increase in the price of Bitcoin this year and in the next year. But to reach $20K in six months doesn't seem to be so easy for Bitcoin even though Bitcoin has crossed $50K when printing its new ATH, but you can also see for yourself in the market how Bitcoin stays in the $30K area and still looks hard to get close to the $35K area in the market. And this could be a sign that reaching $50K by the end of this year will never be easy for Bitcoin even though it could be possible.

I'm thinking along similar lines myself, and judging by the responses in the thread, I'm not the only one. That's assuming we have a repeat of the pattern of previous cycles, which we can't be 100% sure will happen, but at least it's the most likely. There is usually a price increase in the year before the halving, as an exit from the bear market, but without reaching the ATH. I think that is where we are heading.
I think it's normal that each people always check the previous year for a similar pattern and they will keep on holding on that false promise. At least that was like their benchmark if how high or low the price can go the current year while other prices that aren't expected can still happen. Even if there is no halving approaching ahead, the market will still find its way outside of the bear market.

The same goes if there is a bull run, it will also find a way to approach the bear market. I think a bull market does not always mean that there will be a new ATH that will happen but a close or the same ATH to what the previous can still be considered as one.

As the price of bitcoin moves around the $30k range I predict the price to have a jump to $40k considering the upcoming halving. Most of the time the market used to take a down turn and bounce high from that point to reach a better position marking it the ath value for the year.

Apart from its regular growth pattern the change in growth could happen depending upon the adoption and positive news taking place in the cryptomarket. In such situation the price of bitcoin could move high upto the $50k margin. In the past the market used to get manipulated easily which drives the market to the peak and leaves it for a deep drop. These days such scenario is very low as people have well understood the market and making decisions accordingly than getting into panic.

Because of the way the SEC is raising allegations on cryptocurrency exchanges, if the SEC issues continue, the Bitcoin price might not go above $45k, but if everything continues to go well, the Bitcoin price should go above $50k because we are expecting a halving next year in 2024, and we will be expecting the Bitcoin price to go above its all-time high.
Bitcoin the way I'm seeing bitcoin price I believe bitcoin price will rise above the fourty five thousand because of 2024 expectations of bull market of bitcoin, the information of sec everyone knows that it will not really affect bitcoin price the way I'm seeing the speculation, when we new investors bitcoin price will definitely rise unexpectedly, but let us say that the bench mark of bitcoin price should be within the forty thousand and forty eight thousand within the year, and it can only skyrocket because of the demands of bitcoin get higher than the supply

I hope for above $60k, like many others, but it doesn't look realistic anymore because as I've said many times in the past the global economic situation is still dire and with the recession growing we can't expect massive amount of money to come into the market creating a big >2x rise. Best case scenario is small rises and above $40k seems more realistic heading towards $50k by the end of the year. Again if the global economic situation doesn't get worse (ie. if it remains just as bad as it is now) and if it improves (ie. recession goes down) we can then expect bigger rises.

Let's see the market prediction by crypto community.

I love seeing the thread. Since we're now likely to go higher, if the trend continues then we're likely to enter the bull market. And if that is the case, we are likely to see another all-time high pass $60K. Well of course it has to break first multiple levels of resistance but if the fundamentals of halving of BTC mining align with economic conditions to prime Bitcoin to go higher, then it will be easy.

Break 30K, then 45K, 47K, consolidate a bit, then all-time high. How about that until end of the year.

I voted for $40,000. Bitcoin is currently stuck at $30,000. It seems it doesn't have a strong hold of it. I think the price could easily slide down below $30,000 any moment. And it will take a while for the price to climb back to $30,000. So I'm seeing a generally sideward movement for the rest of the second half of 2023.

Standard Chartered bank thinks the price could reach $50,000 within the year. I don't agree. If the market moves positively in the next 5 months, then we might see $40,000. I don't expect a strong increase prior to the halving. The real bull run will follow the halving.

Lower than $60k Grin

We can guess at as many prices as we want when we talk about the max Bitcoin price for 2023. But I feel that it's still under $60k. It could be above $ 35k- $ 40k, or be at $45k or even be at the $50k level.

But as long as negative news can make people panic and sell Bitcoin instantly, Bitcoin will be difficult to touch $ 45k. Maybe Bitcoin price will stay between $30k-$40k like it is now, where it goes up to 31k and down to $30k. And maybe this situation will continue this month, but hopefully, there will be positive news that can increase the Bitcoin price and touch $33k.

Maybe I would choose Bitcoin price to be around $40k-$50k later this year but I feel it is still under $60k. But we'll see what will happen every month later.
Yes, I'm not seeing a new all time high price at the end of the year, so it's safe to say lower than $60k. But really hard trying to pinpoint the exact price, it could be in the range of $45k-$50k as I have seen that this is the target price for more, not just from this forum. But from outside speculators as well. The thing though is that we shouldn't listen to them, I mean we can make our own prediction. What I'm concern though is what will be the price after the block halving, because that will be the catalyst of a bull run in 2024-2025.
Most investors are holding their hands back only because the market is way too stable at the moment, I've personally never seen it being this stable for quite some time, so it's totally confusing as to where it will move next, it isn't being able to go across the resistance at $31k but it's also not coming down to $29k which is the reason why the whole market is confused and different people are making different predictions about the next move.

I personally think that we won't go straight up from here but there will still be a correction from here that will bring the price below $30k for once and it will stay there for some time and will start going up from there when the new year is near, we won't enter the bull market before the end of 2024 in my opinion.

Let's see the market prediction by crypto community.
This year you say?
In preparation for the halving that will happen next year, I think that Bitcoin's maximum price that it will reach will be at the range of $45,000-$50,000.

TBH, I'm not this bullish knowing that there are no good things that're happening this year except from that Blackrock filing of a Spot ETF. Aside from that, there's no good news that're published online during the first half of this year. Maybe the reason why Bitcoin's price is starting to rise this year is investors are slowly accumulating Bitcoins because they don't want to buy Bitcoin again at a higher price once the halving, and bull market starts.

Anyway, I'm a huge believer of the 4-year cycle, so I expect for cryptocurrency to enter the bull run 1-2 years from now. I believed on it that I took the opportunity last year, and bought Bitcoins at a much lower price. Aside from Bitcoins, I also bought Ethereum, and other altcoins in preparation for the bull run. Anyway, $45,000-$50,000 by the end of the year. LETS GO!!!!!

I think we are like 2015

Jan 15 price was 177
Jul 13 price was  308
Dec 16 price was 465

2024

Jan 1 price 16500
July 5 price 30750
Dec 31 price 47000?

I'm thinking along similar lines myself, and judging by the responses in the thread, I'm not the only one. I wonder why a person goes to a forum to create an account, and only makes a single post to ask a question about the price of bitcoin and then that person disappears, what is the purpose of that?
(....)
Probably a real newbie account.

This year for me on Bitcoin is crucial for Bitcoin because block halving event is coming on next year, for me, the limit for me of this year the all-time high we had which is around $60,000+
I believe Bitcoin block halving got a good effect on Bitcoin in terms of price, we already see this for the past block halving.

Breaching $60,000 for me is already good because that is also psychological resistance which that is our recent all-time high price.

I wonder why a person goes to a forum to create an account, and only makes a single post to ask a question about the price of bitcoin and then that person disappears, what is the purpose of that? anyway I hope you at least see people's responses because I assume you probably have another account on this forum. but anyway, the fact is that this year it will be very difficult to predict the price, that's because we are still seeing a crisis in the global financial market and this also affects bitcoin but at the same time that in the coming months there will be bitcoin halving which is something that always what happens has increased the price a lot

so what many people will probably be wondering is what would be the ideal month to buy, if it would be better to buy bitcoin when there are 3 months left before the halving or if it would be better to buy it 6 months before the halving or if it would be better to buy it now, but the problem and that there is a possibility that the current price will drop even more, so using the strategy of buying at each price drop may be the only viable way to maximize profits, regarding the price that we will see at the end of the year, this is something very difficult to predict , so I would say it will be between 25000$ to 45000$ and more realistic in my opinion

We have passed a long way in Bear market and we are still now in Bear Season. But the hope is that market is going against Bear trend and It already climbed almost 2× from the bottom of this bear season. That is a good sign of starting a Bull season. So what can be the next in 4/5 months?

There is a possibility to remain stable under 40 K level but if pumps a little bit then we can easily see the price at the 50K level. And it's a good possibility to pump a little bit from it's stable range. So I am predicting about 50K price of Bitcoin at the end of this Year. And of course I am expecting this price if market remains positive but negativity or bad news can arrive anytime. So we much have risk management before making any decision of investment.

In short, we can't predict the bitcoin price, all possibilities are possible, and price prediction is pointless. I think we must prepare a plan for both market scenarios, and that will help us to be more proactive in our investment than just having expectations without a plan.

Honestly, I'm not really interested or excited about the rise of bitcoin this year, so I don't have expectations either. If I could have one wish, I wish bitcoin were still under 30k so more people have a chance to accumulate. Because regardless of whether bitcoin goes up or down this year, we can still be confident that bitcoin will definitely rise in the next bull season. So we should focus on accumulating bitcoin while it is still cheap.
When it comes to prices then there's no such thing about end line because everything would really vary on community demands and recognition of it, come to think that only a few of the entire world population
does know about Bitcoin existence or simply with cryptocurrencies on which means that there's still a huge room to grow. This is why we could really be able to tell that theres really that potential that it could be able to
break out those ATH's that we've seen before on previous cycle considering that year by year on which it would really be no shocking that recognition and adoption rate is really getting higher.
This is why its really that important that if you've been wary about the probabilities on increasing price in the future, then you should really be taking up steps for you to utilize such opportunity
on the time that it would really be still that cheap.

Let's see the market prediction by crypto community.
Nearing $50,000 Bitcoin price at the end of the year.
Yes. That's my speculating price on Bitcoin.

Now I'm trying to parse a little why I speculated that price.
The increase in the price of Bitcoin cannot be predicted correctly by all analysts. When it's time to reach a new high, no matter how strong the FUD is, it still doesn't matter.
The move between $31k and back towards $30k is being made in the wake of some upbeat news such as the SEC clash with BinanceUs and Coinbase.

The market experienced a bit of a price refresh when BlackRock proposed a spot Bitcoin ETF.
Maybe in the future there will be more surfaced news (positive and negative) which will affect the price.

I can't Really tell the price Bitcoin is heading to by the end of the year but I know by the end of the year the price of bitcoin will be more than what it is right now. Nobody can tell or predict the price of bitcoin how it will be in a specific time, what I just know by the end of the year the price of bitcoin won't be the same.
This year I’m going to say $45,000 max. 2025 is when the real fireworks start in my opinion but we are entering a new bull market now, the ascent in price should begin shortly. It’s very early days in this bull market though so don’t expect miracles in 2023. We should end this year well though.

.
The end of the year is  in less than 6 months now, the price of bitcoin can hit up  to $40k and it may also not reach up to $40l too. Bit it will be totally different from it present price. Prefer to wait to see the price  than predicting because predicting has never been working  for me.

If you see the current situation, I say it has more probablility for Bitcoin to reach $ 40K this year, but I hope more than that, maybe $ 50k.
Bitcoin should experience growth this month, and does not remain silent at the price of $ 30k, it is also in my opinion the Fed temporarily stopped the interest rates, and maybe when the Fed raises again the interests of Bitcoin will experience a correction back to the price lower than the price Now, but I hope not this year.

If seen from the global macroeconomic situation and positive sentiment encouragement from the news, as well as Bitcoin ETF by Blackrock, it is likely that it will happen better at increasing the price of Bitcoin that I think it will push to the price of $ 40K- $ 50K.

Lower than $60k Grin
This should be the ultimate prediction.
Below $60k can be $1k-$59k. Your prediction will be always correct as long as it never passes $60k.
My question is, do you vote all the price options below $60k? I think it is a cheating prediction. Cheesy
I do not see the option of below $60k in the list, so how I can vote? Grin

Unless there is an option for that, I will choose that. But I am thinking about $40k-$50k for the Bitcoin maximum price for this year because reaching $60k for this year is a bit taugh although it still possible.

Yes, I'm not seeing a new all time high price at the end of the year, so it's safe to say lower than $60k. But if the price does reach $60k for the year, it will be a surprise for us because the price of Bitcoin next year, after the halving, will probably go very high from $60k. So let's just wait until where this Bitcoin price increase will occur.

Let's see the market prediction by crypto community
I believe it will max out at the end of the year at $45k or $50k. Fud and there are some issues that might bring bitcoin to a correction again or it could be that The Fed trying to raise interest rates could take bitcoin sideways. No single source of strength can guarantee accurate price predictions, as there are always other factors that can cause the price of bitcoin to go sideways, correct or go up suddenly. The cycle may be repeated as indicated and this factor can be seen from the four-year cycle in the bitcoin journey and most likely we are almost close to halving before reaching that stage.

So there are various analyzes that may occur and even corrections may be repeated for the process of bitcoin's journey going forward. For example, the binance case with the SEC happened yesterday and so far we also haven't seen how it closes on the last price support at the end of the month that does not and has not exceeded $32k, although historically other factors have shown changes from the previous correction process.

What shall be the maximum value of bitcoin this year?  (Voting closes: July 11, 2023, 03:18:36 PM)
If we are to predict the price of bitcoin for the whole year, why end the poll on 11th July?

I am skeptical of bitcoin price this year. Bitcoin has done really well but have not established that trust factor to rate it high. Bitcoin was able to move from the region of 15k to the region of 30k, which is an impressive move. But then, it did not dwell there for long before it fell back to the region of 25k. Presently it is consolidating at 30k.

What this shows is that bitcoin might not be able to make 50k this year considering that the year is more than half spent. Apart from the halving wave, there is no other strong news to move bitcoin, meanwhile there is some possibilities of bad news that may drag the bitcoin price downwards.

Bitcoin price is expected to rise significantly by the end of this year Bitcoin price has started to increase. Many traders have suffered losses due to the dump in Bitcoin price for quite some time. But now it is expected that the Bitcoin market will improve very soon. But it will take a few months.  We have to wait.
Everyone is willing to wait for an improvement in the market as long as it can be very certain to happen, besides it is time to hope for it to happen to the market and also to Bitcoin because considering that after this year is over, everyone will be in a better period next year. Actually I also hope that Bitcoin can recover its price soon so that those who have been waiting a long time in waiting for this to arrive will no longer feel tired and suffering.

I think the most accurate BTC prices as far as I know are only predictions and cannot be taken as a strong reference. only after reaching a certain new price crowded in the discussion. But, if I see the potential, it might be able to reach above 60K in 2024 whether at the beginning, middle or end of the year.
There is no accurate prediction. As long as it is a prediction, it won't be accurate. Unless you know the future, then you will state something accurate to happen.  Cheesy

Why it is possible to pass $60k? At least, you give a strong reason. The current price is only about $30k, we need a huge issue to pump BTC above $60k in a few months only. Do you feel something big to come in crypto space? Is it about the policy of US or China again?  Huh

Lower than $60k Grin
This should be the ultimate prediction.
Below $60k can be $1k-$59k. Your prediction will be always correct as long as it never passes $60k.
My question is, do you vote all the price options below $60k? I think it is a cheating prediction. Cheesy

Let's see the market prediction by crypto community.

Predicting the price of the year will be really tough, I would say. This year, we have seen Bitcoins climb from 16k USD to 31k USD and suddenly fall from 31k USD to 24k USD overnight. So yes, anything and everything can happen in the remaining 5 months. If we observe closely, then many events affect the price of bitcoins. Like the SEC lawsuit, which drastically affected the price. Hence, if more events like these happen in the near future, the price will go down more. But in the meantime, if the demand to acquire the bitcoins increases, then the price will definitely go up. I am assuming bitcoins will touch at least $50,000 USD by the end of this year.

Bitcoin price can reach very different levels overnight. We also do not know if there will be any new negative news. So instead of guessing, let's accumulate bitcoins. My predictions have been holding for a long time, but this time I am not making any price predictions. Maybe I'll make a guess after a while, but the issue we need to focus on is that the bitcoin price is at the appropriate levels for pre-halving purchase.

I hope we will come to the prices you mentioned soon, but I think it is too early for that price.

for 2024.
Jan 70k new high

This sounds very daring. Are we going to break ATH before halving? Just thinking about it makes me feel irrational.
We can say that US interest levels of less than 5% will not be achieved until May/2024, and then it may be the beginning of real rise in the price of bitcoin, meaning that in May we may be somewhere between 45k to 52k, and by the end of 2024 we may be able to old ATH above 70k.
I can't imagine seeing Bitcoin price above $150,000 in the next 5 years. Shocked

Bitcoin hitting $70k or creating a new ATH this year is really unlikely, even if we rely on history, or the world economic situation doesn't support that. But why can't bitcoin hit $150k or more in the next 5 years? I even think it will happen right in the upcoming bull season. In my opinion, the upcoming bull cycle will be full of surprises because it will likely coincide with the recovery of the world economy. That would create a powerful catalyst for bitcoin to skyrocket and the market to explode.

I think the most accurate BTC prices as far as I know are only predictions and cannot be taken as a strong reference. only after reaching a certain new price crowded in the discussion. But, if I see the potential, it might be able to reach above 60K in 2024 whether at the beginning, middle or end of the year.

it looks like for the end of this year, the price of bitcoin could reach a price in the range of $ 40k to $ 45k. if the price goes above that, then that is a very positive thing before the halving happens. However, seeing that bitcoin price has remained in the $30k range so far, it makes me feel that it may be quite difficult for bitcoin to exceed $50k by the end of the year. So, I think the highest price range that bitcoin can reach by the end of this year is $40k to $45k.

Bitcoin maximum this year and technically speaking would be at 40-45K level.

We currently still at the 30K level this is also act as major resistance and the price seems side away at that level. if there is good news ex. Bitcoin etf approved by the SEC or binance and coinbase win againt the SEC 30K level would be support zone retested again at 35K-37K level.

My prediction Bitcoin price will hit $60k+ within this year. But it has some obstacle, like SEC decision is very important for bitcoin. If result were negative then bitcoin price will near about $35k but if result were positive then it’s price will avabe $60k. Now bitcoin price is $30k+ but some days ago bitcoin price was $24k. And it’s ATH is $69k which happen in 2021. Now bitcoin price $30.5k, if all were good then Bitcoin price will maximum within this year.

I went for $50k. Honestly, I'd have gone for $40k if I were a bit more realistic, but wanted to be a bit optimistic today and went for $50 instead. I'd say we'd see something around the $40, 50k range anyway if we continuously see a steady forward movement like what we have right now. The halving adds some effect to that would be the reason for a higher increase than what we have, and we'd probably see a LOT more ups half a year or so into the halving. Honestly a double of what i expect might be something we'd see by 2025.

50k should be the target for this year, I’m bullish and I will hold.
Once we are able to break the resistance in $31k, the price will continue its trend plus many will start to prepare for the halving and that can be a big boost to the price. We will end this year on a huge up trend, its about time for us to enter bull market again and that’s the cycle of Bitcoin.

I voted for $40k because there is no $45k. But it is somewhere in these ranges I believe the highest price of bitcoin this year. Now I am starting to ponder if my projected $25k happens again. I am planning to invest more if bitcoin drops again to $25k and this price might not happen if bitcoin reaches $40k in the next weeks or a few months. I am putting my monthly DCA on hold since last month because of my new target buy price.

Anyways, once bitcoin reaches its highest price this year, we expect another dip which may continue to happen until early next year when the halving happens is nearing to happen when the price will once again start moving up.

It's really hard to predict. However, looking at Bitcoin's past performance, it is conceivable that Bitcoin may go above $40k this year if good market conditions prevail. It is really difficult to predict the way Bitcoin is currently reacting. But it doesn't take much time to change the market, only positive news is needed.

With the positive market conditions today I thought we were finally heading towards $40k, but Bitcoin rejected the $31k resistance again. So I am optimistic that Bitcoin will go above $40k this year, but how the market reacts will be the key.

No one knows exactly what the max price of bitcoin will be this year, but I'm hoping some predictions will come close. I would probably have expected $40k higher as a max price as that is an area of resistance which will probably be broken as the demand increases.

So far the bitcoin price seems to be moving sideways over the next few weeks, which is around $28k - $32k. If the next scenario turns out to be better, then the hope is that $40k will be break.

For this year and before the year will end, I predict the price of Bitcoin to be $30k to $40k even the 40k I am not really sure but for the 30+k  I am sure because the market is not in skyrocket when it is going up but when it is coming down it will be very fast. As for the maximum price, I will say the price that will end the year will be the maximum and that is what I have said which the 30+k but if it goes above the 30+k then it will hit the amount of 40k which will be very close to last year price. And Bitcoin will not reach 40k in this year because last was 40k and the next highest price will the ATH that will take place next year or upper year.

A lot depends now on the SEC decision. Most likely stocks will keep rallying and Bitcoin will closely follow. Sure there are recession risks but most likely there won’t be a recession this year most likely next or year after. Economy is way too strong. The fed can raise a few more times and maybe then I’ll start some slowdown.

So if they approve the SEC I think we might get like $45K and top out. If they don’t then we might hit a high of $35K this year and just trade sideways for the rest of the year. Horrible liquidity right now in the crypto markets.
Maybe it's true that they have an influence to the Bitcoin price but there must be other factors that affects the price of Bitcoin. Then lastly there is us. No matter what are the negativities that surrounds but if we keep our faith and choose to be positive to buy more and HODL, I think we can be able to counter them and price will still show an increase.

The crypto market is getting better now so I don't understand on how you can say that the liquidity now is horrible. Maybe you are just too assuming and want some more. Well just be patient because we can get there soon. Then I think the ending price of BTC by this year is going to be over $50k.

Let's see the market prediction by crypto community.

Maximum price? There’s no such thing like this maybe the next all time high but maximum high is unpredictable since Bitcoin supply is very limited and the price can grow on exponential level depending on the level of mass adaption since the supply doesn’t increase and it will be scarce when interested user is increasing and holding their Bitcoin.

Above 60K is destined to happened since we are still on the hype phase with still a very low mass adaption. The next Bitcoin halving will put us on the next ATH along with this ETF applications.

Reaching 100k before 2025 ends is my go to prediction these days. I know that I could be wrong but I am guessing that it is not going to be too much wrong. It is obvious that it is going to be close to that at the very least, or it will most likely be higher than that as well. People are reacting to this as something we should be caring about but the reality is that we are not going to get anything "that" marvelous from this at all.

It needs to be something that we need to be careful about and that means that we are going to reach out to a higher level but we do not know when that will start and when that will end. So if you get in too late and get out too late, then you are going to make a loss or not earn much during an epic bull run.

I think it's still very reasonable to expect the end of 2023 for the bitcoin price to be higher than $45k, because we that's too close to the halving. Lots of interest will jump in and make the market a bull market, but I wouldn't rule out other possibilities even if a potential high price is expected. I will be at $40k, could be lower depending on market conditions and external influences.

This $40K - $50K range is still a long way off for us to predict, just a lot of speculation.

I think bitcoin will definitely experience a recovery but it won't last long, so what I assume is when the price can still stay at $40K let's say before the close of 2023 but at the end it can go down again but after passing the close of this year I think bitcoin will go up again and not too high maybe the range of numbers mentioned above.

We will see that there must be other influences including the SEC feud that is trending, maybe if it becomes positive then it will further increase the price of bitcoin.

Let's see the market prediction by crypto community.

I mean the market could probably skyrocket at any time because it is just a volatile market price hype could easily start with just one good article about Bitcoin for sure. Probably Im expecting the market price to reach around 50k$ this year or probably even more just because of the Bitcoin halving hype, honestly it could reach the ATH because of the Bitcoin halving I might sell a small percentage of my holding if the market price hype skyrocket the price of the All time high, I think its a fair price for sure and its a good opportunity to take profit but will never sell all of my Bitcoin unless it reach around a 100k$ which is probably going to happened when the Bullrun hits.

For sure it would take years before we hit the Bullrun is expected around 2025 then the last all-time high can easily be broken, then I'm just relaying on the Bitcoin halving next year to pump the market price, I think it is still a great event that could easily pump and hype the market. But honestly, it could skyrocket anytime, the SEC news could easily trigger that 30k$ resistance if that happened who knows if it could x2 already.

Let's see the market prediction by crypto community.
I think the top could be at 40k and that is it, the reason is that the halving is still to come and to think that bitcoin can reach a price so close to the all time high seems like a mistake, so 40k should be the limit of what bitcoin can achieve this year, which is not so bad as it was not far ago when bitcoin was trading for 15k and we were wondering if we will go below the 10k level again, so when taking the context in which this price could be reached I do not think we have any right to complain.

$40k and above is already a good price for this year and that is the best price in preparation for the halving. I’m not expecting a huge price for this year but I’m sure next year it will be a big one. Watch out for BTC as it keeps on challenging the resistance for a short period of time, soon he will break it. Buy more Bitcoin now as much as possible, the bull is inevitable its only a matter of time.

Despite the difficulty of predicting the cryptocurrency market, I will vote for a $40k cap on the price of Bitcoin this year due to the way the SEC is treating exchange-related allegations. I don't know how long it would take the SEC to act on its findings regarding exchanges, but let me assume that this year the SEC will demonstrate its control over the exchanges by preventing Bitcoin from rising in price even above $40k.

Based on my assumption, though I am not sure, the SEC issue is supposed to be resolved before the end of this year or the start of next year. After that we will start to see bitcoin skyrocket in price compared to the $40k it ends with(2023)

I choose the probability of $40k because so far so good we have spent 6 months and the highest price we have seen the year $31k and let say the remaining 6 months might add the remaining 9% to make up the $40k. But there is another prediction that, the market might not pass the present price, because market has not shown the signal that it will go up in anytime soon. If the price would have gone up, the price would have climbed to $32+k by now but it is still coming down again.

My prediction is between the $30k - $50k range for this year. This is because I don't expect volatility to hit above $50k before the next few months ending the year. I'm still looking at the body movement of btc during the time of halving but this year may have been a little spiking out volatility. Although price could still drop below $30k

Just pulling a number out of thin air, I’d say we’ll see a maximum price of $48K. Nothing really to base that on and if mtgox does it’s distribution before the end of the year then that will be a tricky price target to hit. I wouldn’t worry so much about the price this year though. It’s the price in 2 years you should be eyeballing.

$50k, am I the only one who would say that at poll?

Not sure what the high price will be at the 2023 close, but I'm inclined to believe it will be above $40k or around $50k. I know this is a very low probability prediction if the market and investors are not supportive. However I can expect a lot of support which will do the market well to get close to a good record before the 2024 halving.

I'm in the same price range, $40k-$50k might be the end price this year. We are still in the $30k'ish right now, so most likely the closest will be $40k. But who knows, maybe when we have more positive news in the next 5 months or so, we might see $50k or even higher.

For now let's just put a conservative estimates at $40k, so that if we didn't get the price or top it, still a win-win for us as we are not expecting something big. Instead of hoping for a big price but it's so high that at the back of our minds, we might not achieved that price this 2023. Still a long way to go for us so let's just be positive and hope for the best.

Bitcoin price forecast is similar to hoping and anticipating a fantasy existence. Only a few people in a million can get the price exactly right. Even people who have been invested in bitcoin from its inception cannot always predict what the price will be at a given moment or month of the year. They can produce a perfect range that sometimes coincides and sometimes fails.

For now, one can only make projections, but market volatility always has its own way of determining the price in the end. My forecasts based on how the market is now performing are $40-$50K at most, while they may be an exception in the long run due to how the market tends to adjust. However, at the current market price and analysis of past month till now, my prediction will be $40K-$50K by the end of the year.

It is never easy to predict the price of Bitcoin, many have tried but were never correct. We all know the sudden jump in price is due to the ETF application submitted by various financial institution. The SEC has not yet approved it but most of us are speculating that a few ETFs will get approved. If they don't then we would see a sharp correction. The global economy is also struggling due to the war in Europe. Many small countries are struggling to survive at the moment. My analysis is that Bitcoin might see a sudden pump in its price if the SEC gives a green signal to the ETF. After the pump we would see again a correction. I feel the price of Bitcoin would be between 35k to 40k.

Such topics will turn into spam. It is difficult to predict the price of Bitcoin during 6 months, a lot of water will run under the bridge and it is difficult to predict what will happen, 3 months is the longest period that an individual can predict about the price currently, during which there is a possibility of raising interest by 50 basis points and 25 basis points For each meeting, therefore, I expect that a health correction will occur between $25,000 and $29,000.

Despite the normal market activity of rising and falling prices, starting in June and now already in the first week of July, the chart position is very convincing to end up at the desired level later in the year.

Of course, some incidents can hinder the movement of the price chart, but from the few incidents that have occurred in the last few months such as the BinanceUS case with the SEC, there is not a big change in the color of the chart.
This is my optimistic stance in choosing $40,000 as the maximum year-end price.

Not many people have taken part in your vote yet, but most people are not too optimistic about what will happen this year, most choose $40k as the final level that bitcoin will reach by the end of the year. I chose $30k or maybe less if other options were available. While I still believe bitcoin's short term uptrend can hit 33k-35k, but I don't see a positive for the market at year end. I'm still waiting for history to repeat itself, I think there will still be dumping before the halving happens, like what happened in 2019.

The fed can raise a few more times and maybe then I’ll start some slowdown.
The Fed even signaled to raise the benchmark interest rate two more times in the future.
This is based on the Fed's median projection which estimates interest rates to be in the range of 5.5-5.75% in 2023 from 5-5.25% previously.
However, Fed Chairman Jerome Powell explained that interest rates are currently near their peak target so future increases could be slower.

The impact of rising interest rates will definitely be felt, we must be careful because there are still two rate hikes.
The rate hike will also be close to Bitcoin's halving.

So if they approve the SEC I think we might get like $45K and top out. If they don’t then we might hit a high of $35K this year and just trade sideways for the rest of the year. Horrible liquidity right now in the crypto markets.
$45k is a good price target even though it is now stuck at $30k and still sideways $30k-$31k.
Waiting for some corrections to make the crypto market healthier.
Currently, BTC.D dominance is still quite high, which stands at 51.23%.

Horrible liquidity right now in the crypto markets.

voted for 40k, but my prediction should be between 40k and 50k. We've seen the price goes up and down a little bit but did not really go down below 25k despite the SEC crackdown. So, we've got an upward momentum now while we're closing in from the bitcoin halving next year. People would start accumulating now, evidently with $30k price now it's still considered affordable as of this moment - so this might continue gradually with more than 5 months left this year, the most realistic range bitcoin could go would be around 40k I guess. It might go beyond 50k, but I doubt it would break the ATH, not until the halving takes place.

We've got bunch of threads like this already on this section and you'll see people's thoughts and opinions on how much is gonna be the ceiling price of Bitcoin for this year. It'll end up with just assumptions and ranges because we don't know how the market will play at the end of this year.
However, it's most likely that we'll see the price ending this year positively but we will never know if the ceiling could be back close to the last ATH that we have been before.

I was predicting $40,000 at the end of the year if it could break the $30k level, which it had been sitting at for the past week, but it eventually did and climbed to $31k+, which is a good sign that something positive might still turn out this month. So for the year, I don't see $60k happening; although Bitcoin price movement can be surprising most times, it's still not that easy to reach that level in the remaining 5 months of the year, but $40k looks like an achievable possibility.

This year I’m going to say $45,000 max. 2025 is when the real fireworks start in my opinion but we are entering a new bull market now, the ascent in price should begin shortly. It’s very early days in this bull market though so don’t expect miracles in 2023. We should end this year well though.
