Hey all,

I have seen and heard of this software called Bitcoin Mega Mining. Their website www.bitcoinmegamining.com shut down, but they still have their Facebook page at www.facebook.com/bitcoinmegamining.

I have tried it out, and it's a pool mining software, and apart from the pool servers, there is the Public Server, VIP Bronze, VIP Silver and VIP Gold servers. There are also the Premium ones. The Public Server used to be free (?) I don't have much information. But I think (according to their replies to comments on the Facebook page, it is now $15? I don't know). The download links on their Facebook page are not working.

Anyway, was gonna ask if any of you guys know this software, because lots and lots of people have been saying "SCAM!" and "Cannot withdraw!" while other say it works perfectly. 97% of Antivirus software say it is safe including AVG, ESET, Windows Defender and Norton. But some people say it has a Trojan.

As I said, I don't know, guys. It seemed to work on my PC, but I never got the chance to withdraw, as the minimum amount is 100,000 Satoshi.

So, do any of you know this software? Is it scam? BTW you can now only get it from 3rd party software as the download links don't work.

Please reply as soon as you can.

Thank you  Smiley

Firstly, the website is now redirecting to another one which seems to be some kind of extension that you have to install. Could be malware, so beware.

But looking at the facebook, they are literally blatantly promoting a "HYIP", which has become synonymous within the bitcoin world with ponzi. The fact is that no one would be able to generate such high returns on investment without running a ponzi, which would mean that it is illegitimate and has no real business model. If you do see the term "HYIP" being used anywhere else, replace it with ponzi.

In the future if you do see these types of sites which pose as cloud mining, mining pools, or trading firms that offer high returns on investment while offering no clarity whatsoever in terms of how the funds are being generated, beware. Furthermore, don't download anything that they tell you to install.

because lots and lots of people have been saying "SCAM!" and "Cannot withdraw!"

Dude, it's clear that they are scammers, you need to research about mining and its profitability so you do not fall for this type of scam anymore, here are some review:

Review Bitcoin Mega Mining

always do research and never invest your time and money on these ponzi sites

while other say it works perfectly.

these people who say that, are people who are part of the ponzi scheme

I think you have been scammed, there are a few checklists anyone should check before joining any mining pool, just as Potato Chips mentioned in comment.

The scam seems to be based on two:

1. A Ponzi scheme: Like every cloud mining company out there.
2. A virus: After walking out with user's funds and closing, the virus starts doing its job, to steal whatever funds you have in your other wallets.

It really doesn't take a genius to figure out this is a scam. Even for a scam, they're not doing it right with all the dead links etc. and yet, you seem to insist and want more proof that this a legitimate service.

I'm seriously suspecting you're somehow affiliated with the ppl who made this miner 'cause you're questions aren't from someone who mainly wants to know if its trustable or not, its from someone who wants to prove the software isn't a scam.

So what will happen if I get up to 100,000 Satoshi and hit "Withdraw" and enter my wallet?

What will happen if you download and install the miner?

Do you know any other information about the software? Can you confirm that it is scam?

Okay op, I'm downloading the miner now to see whether it will or will not steal my coins, I'll inform you :v :v :v

Isn't what I stated enough? Even if it really mines, where's the guarantee your earnings will go to you? Its not open source nor reputable. Why do you need to risk yourself with this when there's a much better options? Why is UI more prioritized rather than safety?

There's like 99% chance this is a scam and you're still betting on the 1% that it might not.

Website being down for a long time now is enough to consider that the said service is a waste of time. Why they can't run their own site? It's an important thing to have as all information can be found there and not via Facebook group.

And after someone point out at least some simple things to looked on why it can't be considered as trustworthy, you still want to know more of the software's internal stuff to confirm if it's 100% scam which is honestly not necessary.

Verifying the software just needs a little time but I doubt someone here will download the program just to give an answer to you since in the first place, it's not necessary to undergo to that process when the program itself is an obvious untrustworthy from the start.

So what will happen if I get up to 100,000 Satoshi and hit "Withdraw" and enter my wallet?

That website is a straight up scam? It sends me through an ad-fested loop of redirects.

Since you're a newbie and through your last comment :

The only reason why I liked it was because it is a VERY simplistic and minimalist miner. All other miners are complex and lots and lots of buttons and options...

Not that I can't navigate them, but I just like the design on this software.

So again, could you verify this? I couldn't find more info about this software, but maybe you could.

You're basically just shilling & forcing people to click your link. Nice try.

No, I'm not trying to get people to click the link. I just want to know if any other people know this software. I was being honest. It's a very simplistic miner. But it turns out to be scam, so thanks for the info.

A mining pool which can't even keep their site running, big lul.

  • There's no proof that this mining pool exist
  • Mining bitcoin using cpu/gpu isn't profitable anymore and would take you a long time before you can generate 100K sats hence those ppl saying they have withdrew after a short period of time is a liar
  • Afaik joining a mining pool (reputable) is basically free but there are some fees which won't be charged unless you have mined/wants to withdraw.
  • Antiviruses don't detect everything, If they do, no one should've lost coins when they installed fake wallet softwares

I'm really positive its a scam, there's even a new scam on their facebook page which is the risk-free investment, op there's no such thing. Uninstall the program, clean your pc, who knows what's in there.

Thank you for that!

That is very useful information.

Do you know any other information about the software? Can you confirm that it is scam? I mean, it seemed to mine...but maybe it's fake? There are extremely few vids on YouTube about this software, but 50% of them are just the same vid copied over and over again.
