Ja, das kann man ihm wirklich hoch anrechnen. Zumal Leute da immer noch gewettet haben, als 1. Klar war, das er verlieren wird (wars ja eigentlich von Beginn 
) und als er schon mehr gesetzt hatte als er überhaupt besaß.
Und Matthew ist niemand der mal 1000de von Coins klaut, von dem her denke ich, dass die Wette niemals erst gemeint war, sondern nur wie er angibt um den Leuten ihre eigen Gier/Beklopptheit vor Augen zu führen.
Aber bei Geld versteht halt keiner Spaß.

Matthew hat sich redlich bemüht, mit den Leuten, denen er Geld geschuldet hat, eine Einigung zu finden. Er hat sich wohl auf Teilzahlungen geeinigt, aber die Details kennen nur die Beteiligten selber.

Wie meinst du "mehr Informationen"? Hier im Forum und im Wiki findest du ALLE Infos die es über Bitcoin gibt.
Zur Matthew Storie:
Als pirateat40 angekündigt hat savings&trusts zu stoppen, hat Matthew im Forum eine wahnsinnige Wetten angeboten. Er war der festen Überzeugung, dass pirate alles zurück bezahlt. Man konnte mit 100 BTC gegen ihn wetten. Der verlierer musste dann dem anderen den Wetteinsatz schicken. Matthew hat natürlich verloren und einen riesigen Schuldenberg gehabt, den er NICHT zurück gezahlt hat.
Er hat im Prinzip also sehr viele Forum User um mehrere tausende BTC geprellt. Deswegen hat er als Userstatus immer noch "untrustworthy"
Desweiteren wurde er wegen dieser Aktion auch vom bitcoinmagazine gekündigt.
Kann man dort ein wenig mehr Informationen über die Bitcointechnik bekommen?
