Oh, damn! Of cource it's easier to block pool on firewall. Considering to change my caffeine diet to allow couple more hours of sleep.

plus now most antiviruses know about it just run all the antivirus scans on all the network over a weekend or at night

They tend to mine on pools that only require a bitcoin address.

Blocking the port wont help they can mine on port 80 (www/http) unless you want no internet!

best bet for defense is go through the kaspersky website there normal good stuff on there. also depending what network monitering equipment you have it should be pretty easy to block some of the ports 8322. 8332. 3333 are the common ones for bitcoin mining and sometimes 9332

I am not interested in illegal part of it, there is darknet for that. I think that beast now lives on ~100 pc in my network.
