Hi everyone
I am new and looking for some advice.
I recently invested $1000 into Bitcoin and transfered to a miner and she mines and invests. I have watched my investment go up in the last seven days to $111060.00, firstly is this possible or does it seem too high?
Second question I am being asked to send $1000 to go through blockchain technology before I can withdraw, is this correct?
Lastly my acct is showing in USD so I have been told I can transfer straight from the company to my bank and it will convert to pounds, is that correct?
Very confused as to whether I have been scammed or not and trying to find someone who knows
Thanks for reading

They are trying to scam you the seconds time don't fall for it, you have been scammed better name the mining site so you can warn other people from investing, I've been reading a lot of newbies getting scammed by cloud mining, this is the dilemma of being a newbie you don't know how to look for a good project and not getting an update on what project to look.

Why they even want your 1000$ while they can make thousands with their own, Please do not fall for that kind of scam again and keep yourself out.

Good luck

SCAM!

Dont fall for that because bitcoin mining wont able to earn that big even on having your own rig and also cloud mining wont really be generating that big.
Most of the time big numbers are mostly used by those scammers just for their victims to fall into their trap and thats because of greed.
People do usually act carelessly when they do know that they can potentially make big bucks.

You should really be careful and good thing that you had asked out into  the community before you do make out some deposit? Havent do you?

You are on the wrong foot, obviously, you trusted an online project to convinced you to mine, when cloud mining is a thing of the past, sending more money is making you twice a fool and making you hostage with the project's promises, this is a huge loss to you, I don't want to blame but yours is another story of newbies failing to do diligent research and asking the right people.

@OP, you lost your money! Roll Eyes

Bitcoin mining doesn't work in that way, you need to buy miners and start mining bitcoin which needs huge capital and the ROI is not that much you are talking about.

Stay away from investment schemes which are giving returns that is too good to be true.

Well OP, you know what they say: If it's too good to be true, it most probably is.

And this is one of those cases. Sad

Looks like you need a lot of reading to do: https://cryptosec.info/scams

Far too high. Those are made up numbers to convince you pay more, hence get scammed for even more money.

Second question I am being asked to send $1000 to go through blockchain technology before I can withdraw, is this correct?

Any site that tells that you have money, but asks for more money in order to withdraw (instead of using a fraction of the money you have there) is plain scam.

Lastly my acct is showing in USD so I have been told I can transfer straight from the company to my bank and it will convert to pounds, is that correct?

The banks can convert the money "on the fly". Not at the best rates, but it can be done. However, it's irrelevant, since you won't receive money from that website.

Very confused as to whether I have been scammed or not and trying to find someone who knows

Yes, you have been scammed. Please do proper research next time you invest. For example ~99.9% of the cloud mining websites are either scam, either not profitable, so you should rule out cloud mining until you acquire more knowledge. Also everything that asks for deposits and show high return need extra attention, since it's much more likely to be scam than legit.

Maybe you can share more details about the miner, where did you get the info, the website, the address, etc so others can avoid it. How did you end up there anyway, I'm pretty sure you won't find them through this forum or other aggregator site for cloud mining. Did you get an e-mail or something like that? Don't trust them even if it comes from a trusted website.
Sharing details could act as an advertisement for that scam even if that wasn't the intention. The method used in this scam is obvious, promise of unreasonable returns and using fancy words to look legit. If you want to see examples you can find dozens of them on the internet in social media, Youtube, this forum and in scam accusations.

That gain is impossible. You are definitely being scammed.

You might try to fool them into sending you some or all some of your money back. Maybe you can tell them you will send them $10000, but first they must prove that you can withdraw by returning your original amount. It might work, but they will probably invent some reason why they can't.

Bitcoin cloud mining is a well known scam that is old as bitcoin itself, and i am sorry to say that you lost your money because there is no real investment that could net you 10000% percent in profit  just seven days, it is a commen mistake that new poeple to crypto fall into, if you made some reasearch beforehand you would have known what you were going into, if you are intressted in bitcoin ming you should invest your money into buying a mining rig and not invest it in online mining sites that claim to give huge profit.

Classic scamming technique. Please don't send more money to them.

Those profits are absurd and out of mind. And the way they ask you to send more money to withdrawn is known scamming scheme. I'm pretty sure you are being scammed, so you won't get back your first deposit.
