there are already several threads in the pools and mining subforums - even if you cant post you are allowed to read Smiley
Yes, but they all seem very biased, and I'm looking for a pool with a good community as well.

excellent question, what Bitcoin needs most is more reliable Bitcoin based businesses - do you have any skills or services you are able to offer/build/sell?

depending on your costs/setup buying Bitcoin might be cheaper than mining

Got some programming skills. Did have an idea to create a business that would buy bitcoins < the market price and sell > the market price to help the bitcoin market attract more businesses and put a small backing in bitcoin.

The best pool is of course p2pool but it is not so easy to setup if you also want namecoin merged mining (well not too hard anyway)

Slush is not bad too.
