Not really worrh it in the UK due to the stupid electricity cost. Better to invest the capital in buying coins as an investment and sitting on them and hope the price goes up. If you want to have a hobby and are interested in rigs of differing nature then you may find altcoins interesting.

Hi all,

New here... I'm wondering if it's worth buying some mining rigs to start earning a little cash on the side. I have room to set up a few rigs in the garage and am (relatively) happy to lay out some cash to purchase the hardware, but am wondering if these days it's still worth it and would be really interested in hearing from people in the UK with feedback on what you are using (hardware) and if it is profitable and what can be earned per month with the hardware used.

I'm wondering how the power costs stack up in the UK in terms of mining being profitable?

Any comments/feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks in advance.
