It's funny to see someone really focus about the power consumption and pollution of Bitcoin's mining, but he's forget how huge are the power consumption and pollution of the banking system!

If you really want to solve the environmental problem, you should first solve on banking sector, not on Bitcoin's mining. Think how the solution is, either shut down all the banks or using blockchain to record the database.

Im sure that bitcoin miners are aware about that and they are migrating slowly to the renewable energy to decrease the pollution. I think that this was an old problem. So miners didn't need to be dictated and we can only hope if they will have their own solution for this. We know that so well how miners can handle this even some miners were starting the movement from the non renewable energy to the renewable energy to be able to decrease the pollution due to the electricity consumption from miners.
These are great possibilities that miners have, although think about it, miners from China have had a hard time carrying out their activity, because we all know how they have had to migrate to other countries in order to establish a better activity.

When Elon Musk determined and spoke about free energy for BTC mining, a great debate was generated worldwide, not only when he spoke about BTC but also when he said that BTC mining using clean energy is the best I think everything started to unravel more over there.

I accept the power consumption part but I won't agree with the pollution part because till this day I haven't seen where bitcoin mining have caused pollution before, I have asic miners for BTC mining and no single pollution, if anyone wants to use this point against BTC they should come out clean, this is a lame point.

People are investing more and more in mining bitcoin. Miners can earn a lot of money through mining but in return, it costs a lot of power for miners to do the mining. There may be some investors who believe that the development of this project will enhance the status of Bitcoin and make Bitcoin more valuable. It is advisable for companies to integrate environmental protection into their business system and obtain carbon credits. In the blockchain world, once such a project is successful, it will have a large market for demand. They are worthy of investment.

You are right! BitCoin has turned into a very power hungry network and we don't know if Satoshi intended it to be power hungry. His main point was to make BitCoin decentralized by many coders participating in it. Right now, BitCoin would be well advised to integrate a carbon prevention strategy where carbon is circled back out of circulation. It's a very difficult task for BitCoin.

Bitcoin mining needs only electricity, they don't generate any form of carbons or chemicals, if you read this on any news channel they are trying to take a hit on BTC price, probably some price manipulation, the last time I read this online bans starting to occur but later they lifted all the bans too, lets stop deceiving ourselves, I don't see how BTC mining is affecting our world negatively.
Not completely true. In 2019, almost two-thirds (63.3%) of global electricity came from fossil fuels

Which mean bitcoin mining still uses fossil fuels to run and they think bitcoin mining is just a waste of energy

Can you leave a link regarding it? I can't find anything related to it.
But about the problem of environmental pollution created by bitcoin mining. Perhaps this is an issue that we have been repeating for many years, but let's be realistic about how much it negatively affects, or just stop. in negative exaggeration. There are plenty of other growing industries that are still having an adverse impact on our environment, but they're still going strong.

I think we all know that not all miners are using clean energy. BTC still has some impact on the earth's environment, I think it's a good thing to have an organization to help Bitcoin buy carbon credits, isn't it?
Of course, it still has an impact, but how significant it is compared to others? And also, what would make bitcoin so crucial for the environment that all the miners should immediately have to migrate to clean energy?

It would be better to ask does the problem really exists for bitcoin instead of directly proposing a solution, as of now. https://endthefud.org/energy

This organization helps bitcoin collect carbon credits by integrating global environmental forces, and I think if suExcuse me, everyone, this project is going to open in ETH, can I participate in the angel investment of this project? Or does this project have a future?ccessful, it will enhance bitcoin's global status.

I have no idea what you are talking about OP as i don't understand about what project that you are talking but you are definitely right with your first statement. Bitcoin mining really consumes a lot of energy. I recently read that the energy consumption for mining bitcoin is around 125 TWh per year which is higher than the total energy consumption of the Ukraine which is pretty crazy to me as the Ukraine is a pretty big country with more than 40 million inhabitants. Those numbers where published before the start of the ukraine war obviously.
I also think that Ethereum is switching to PoS because of news like that, because this is just pretty bad publicity in a time where everything must be environmentally friendly.

"In the grand scheme of things, the carbon emissions
emitted by electricity providers supplying the Bitcoin
mining network are inconsequential. At 0.08 % of
global CO2e emissions, removing the entire mining
network from global demand—and thereby depriving
hundreds of millions of people of their only hope for a
fair and accessible form of money—would not amount
to anything more than a rounding error."

maybe this discussion is better moved to the mining board
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=14.0

I always see a mistake in understanding the nature of what is happening, Bitcoin needs energy regardless of its source, and therefore whenever alternative energy is available at a cheap price, the miners will use it regardless of its source.

Therefore, if you want to support them, help your government to put in place legislation that motivates all sectors to obtain cheap energy from renewable sources instead of trying to fix the error in the issue of carbon waste.

Note that all these speculations are for regulatory purposes and obtaining financing, but what will really change is the price of energy.
Yep, thats the solution.
And now the energy is much more expensive that before when russia invade ukraine.
Oil price goes double than last year, this is the right time to develop renewable sources

Don't just talk about the issue of BTC polluting the environment. With economic development, energy consumption has created environmental waste and how to solve it. Do you understand?

I'm pretty positive on BTC. Any issue. We all have our own right/wrong argument, so think broadly so you don't get isolated from the knowledge you hear from anyone. Environmental issues are also always concerned in this space. We have some specific solutions from those projects, and now you want to spread something here. Please be clear. Don't be so vague, because it will make people doubt your approach and transmission of knowledge.

I think that you are misinterpret in this case. The problem was on the bitcoin miners and these miners have been starting move to the renewable and conservative energy. So your project has nothing to do with the bitcoin mining. it's just another project that was selling idea without real implementation. The miners itself who can fix this problem when they are migrating to the conservative energy. This project doesn't have future. i have seen so many projects were offering the same thing in the past and they are dead right now.

Your post doesn't make any sense.

1. What is the name of the project you talking about? How will people be able to understand or share their own opinion on something they can't check out? Mind sharing link to this project website?.

2. Who tells you that Bitcoin mining is causing pollution? BTC fought this war and won because those claims were invalid, if its really causing pollution BTC will be a threat to the human world.
