It's time you do a lot more reading before just making snap decisions.

And it's going to be along time before ASIC miners become readily available if you aren't already on a waiting list.

1 BTC a day ?  a few ASICS  Huh

What will be the best option to go with ? May be 2-3 GPU cards or more ?

http://bitcoin.sipa.be/

This isn't the time to invest in a gpu rig

So it is time to wait and see what happens next ? Or wait for tha ASCI ?

I don't know where you live but those prices are expensive for old technologies, look for a 7790 if you want inexpensive cards.  Grin

You're going to make about 50 cents a day with a rig like that.

MAYBE you would see a btc in 20 days with 3 x 7990

What should be a minimum configuration for a startup mine which can get 1 btc a day  atleast ...

Consider searching for used GPUS, I got myself a used 5870 for ~160$. I you can't find any I'd say the 5850. But frankly for 350$ you should be able to get a 7950.

Edit as for the rest of the components
-cheapest CPU you can find( can be a celeron or sempron) and a resonably priced motherboard
-a 380W-430W 80+PLUS Bronze or Gold power supply made by Seasonic/Kingwin/Super Flower
-any hard drive.

Ok. What should be minimum ram for this ? and any version of Windows should work ?

Hi,

Would like to get help for the required configuration of a PC for first mining rig.

I have availability of either of the GPU cards:

Asus EAH5850 DirectCU / 2DIS / 1GD5 @ US$220/-
Asus EAH6950 / 2DI2S / 2GD5 @ US$350/-
HIS HD 6750 Fan 1GB GDDR5 @ US$110/-

Please give your suggestions with the PC configuration I should go with to start the BitCoin mining rig.
