Does a person get bios-level control or just in OS?
Bios level is hard to do for non server boards, you know. YOu need either a board tha supports remote KVM (IPMI boards), or a dauthgerboard or a remote KVM siwth - the first is quie cheap (less than 100 USD), the later ones cost 5-6 times that much. The first is done special for one motherboards (that needs to support it), the others work with any motherboard.
So, I think the obvious answer here is no
Any non-os item is just too expensive to implement outside real server hardware.Sorry for the Delay in response! Yes that is exactly correct! All customers have as much remote access to their systems OS wise as they wish as it is your system/s!
