Wait so you only have 5kw of power to use?  So you can only run about 4 S7 miners, I think you might have a bit of wasted space.
Right now I have 5kWP from solar and 1kWp from hydro and from them I run my S7s that I have and im hashing about 10Ths. So it means that I will expand the solar panels and hydro generators for more electricity.

Yes you're right! Right now I have three S7s and they are running on solar and hydropower which's power is stored on batteries for night time. I live far from urban area and here is the right place to expand my site. I have solar panels which are on a 150sqF area and hyrdropower from the heavy river.

where are you in europe or usa?

@chek2fire - Europe

So the Solar + Hydro with Battery Storage is up and running? How much Solar &  Hydro Power can you generate?

Rich

Solar + Hydro if your doing it yourself will never end up being as cheap as cheap electricity.  I think you might be better off at a hosting center.

Some are no vat.  And it saves you from having to spend on long term investments like solar.

Thanks for the advice!

the best is clearly the one that consum less, but not because of the efficiency or something, but because you can put more of them in play since you're limited to a maximum wattage

so it's better to go with the s7 in your case, it will cost you more but you can always sell them later
Yeah, I was thinking that right now the best miner after SP50 is the S7. I am willing to invest more that 750K euro on this project and I want to buy some SP50 but Spondoolies seem so selfish, I dont know...

What ? S7 is 800 $ ?
Where did you come with that number ?

800$ cheaper!

http://asicminer-shop.de/ does seem expensive, he must have ordered some Batch 8 before the recent reduction?  $800 can go quite quickly in VAT, Shipping, Handling Charges etc. Have you allowed for that?

Rich

Well I have calculated it. Including shipping and VAT fee is about 800$ cheaper if I buy at Bitmain.

Right now I'm generating around 5kWp with solar and about 1kWp with hyrdo.

I wish you best of luck..Antminer s7 batch 8 looks pretty good for the money..
Northern europe or south?? You should consider some cooling units if you are planning on getting lots of minners..

Thanks! - South Europe. Im going to cool the hardware with flowing water, this water will be used to warm my house and the warm air will be used to warm the greenhouse which my brother will manage, that's how I wrote on the project paper Smiley.

Perhaps he will cool with water and with the boilling water he will run engines to produce electricity?

Im a "she". Please see above for the answer.

in europe there is one legit seller and i think he is official reseller of bitmain. You can contact him

http://asicminer-shop.de/

Thanks chekfire, but S7 B8 is cheaper on bitmain.com, about 800$ including shipping and customs charges.

well, if u dont know that ... i doubt u even know how to set up a miner ... u should do your own homework buddy ...

Well Im planing to buy more S7s and right now Im hashing about 10Ths btw.

so you plan to power miners for only about 8hrs/day?

that assumes no sunlight at night
that assumes some days are too cloudy to produce more than 50% capacity

You dont seem to have planned this out very much at all, and will lose money due to down-time and possibly damaging your power supplies when clouds roll in and your voltage/amperage falls below the equipment requirements.

Not only about 8hrs/day. I was wrong saying that only from solar panels because there is a river where Im planing to make the site and Ill invest in batteries too. Right know Im just asking for some advice about which is the best miner at the market right know, about the plan about how the site will work its something else so I just want to know where and which are the best miners at the market.

So if I am reading this right this is now going to be a Solar Powered + Hydro Electric Powered with a Battery Bank Farm? Now that sounds like a lot of work and yet you are asking about Miners?

Anyway on the Miner front at the moment you only have a choice of S7 or Avalon6, come the New Year there may be the BW.com B-Eleven.

Are you running your 10TH of S7 on Solar at the moment?

Rich

Am always amused by these posts, hardly a Day goes by without someone new popping up who is going to set up a large mining operation usually asking very basic questions completely at odds with the size of the investment needed.  Smiley

OP as has been said, what about Night Time & Overcast Days, or do you plan on an enormous battery bank?

Hi there. I am going to make a site where I will mine Bitcoins. 100% of the electricity will come from solar panels. The place where the mining hardware will be put is large enough, about 1000sqM.

My question is which are the best hardware miners right now on the market, except SP50 since Spoondolies does't respond to emails? Also please provide the websites of where I can buy these miners.

Thanks,
Okw
