More info at BitcoinMint.com

Hey Steve,

Does there happen to be a pricing error for this piece?

I don't think so since it says title one bitcoin and it clearly states price for it on the site but this is one costly piece.
Also, can you explain what exactly is this piece about?

The price is correct. This is an abstract piece which I felt was a great way to represent something as abstract as bitcoin. Since bitcoin is data, any data can be bitcoin. Why not art? Combine this with the fact that we will buy it back any time (less a small restocking fee) insures that this is a virtually risk-free way to enjoy art. Smiley

The wallet is not loaded but it can be sold to us (or other collectors) for bitcoin (or fiat) at any time.

It looks like to me it is the safest way to purchase a bitcoin if it is indeed loaded because of their buyback program

http://BitcoinMint.com

Ive just placed an order for this, even though I paid $25 will you still buy it back for $100?

We buy it back at the price we sold it to you but you will have no problem selling it on the secondary market for $100 since that is the new price going forward. Smiley

These are unfunded wallets which you can load yourself.

My bad.
I thought they were loaded with $100, as they had 0.1048BTC written on them.

They look pretty good though. Smiley

Thanks! Yes, I would send them loaded if it didn't mean having to get "money transmitter" licenses, etc.  The amount of bitcoins listed on the face is the current BTC/USD exchange rate for $10 on this date.

These are amazing Steve!

Do you take requests, and if so, what's the cost? Smiley

Absolutely! Typically, I charge around $100 depending on the complexity/time required. Basically, just give me an idea or a theme that you would like and I'll create something for your approval and there will be no obligation to purchase unless you like it.

Each piece also comes with a guaranteed buyback for the dollar price you paid as follows:

Repurchase Policy: The Bitcoin Mint (BitcoinMint.com) will buy back this original artwork at any time for the price you paid in U.S. Dollars (or the equivalent in bitcoin at the time of buy-back). The piece must be in good condition with the holographic seal undisturbed.

Give me a few ideas of what you are thinking and I'll put something together! Smiley
