That is true. I too read a new about it recently, it was two days ago that bitcoin mining hashrates reached ATH and now recently again reached ATH. But it would be good if there can be a thread about this rather than creating or recreating a new thread about it because the last was not long ago but two days ago, you can check it on this thread.
