...The address that it was sent to is just showing nothing at all, I even checked the history of that particular address and it’s coming up blank.
So you checked the Transaction ID and/or the address on a block explorer like www.blockchain.info and it's coming up with nothing? Huh

Where did you send the coins from? Did they supply the TXID? (Transaction ID)

I’m using TAILS but the Electrum isn’t the latest version but I didn’t think that would be it seeing that it did show up at first but since I closed it and reopened Electrum it’s not showing up at all even after the server connection has been going smoothly and I’ve tried connecting to different servers manually. The address that it was sent to is just showing nothing at all, I even checked the history of that particular address and it’s coming up blank.

I would agree with HCP: seems you have a network issue on your side. Or maybe a system error directly on your PC; don't forget your OS (ie Windows, Linux or OSx) is "living", this means after a while you may encounter major issues wich will prevent your program to work fine. Your IP layer may been corrupted, or most simply, Electrum could have been damaged.
Since your transaction is ok, telling us you you've got plenty of confirmations, feel relieved: your coins are safe.
If ever HCP's recommandations wouldn't work, I would suggest to reinstall Electrum.

Regards.

Sounds very much like a network issue of some description is preventing you from being able to connect to an Electrum server properly.

If you are not already using v2.9.3, then you should upgrade: https://electrum.org/#download

If you are on v2.9.3, try going to: "Tools -> Network" and uncheck the "select server automatically" box and then right click on a different server and select "use as server".

You might also want to make sure your firewall and/or antivirus isn't blocking outgoing traffic on the ports that the Electrum servers are using (typically 50002, but a few use 50012 or 51002 etc, you can see on "Tools -> Network -> Server" window)

I transferred BTC that I just purchased to my Electrum wallet but it was very slow and I noticed that there was a red circle on my Electrum. It kept syncing and unsynching, going between green and red a lot. The unconfirmed transaction did show up but still took hours. I played with different servers but kept going red and sometimes green every now an then. I exited Electrum (I didn’t delete it) and went back into it but now it doesn’t even show up at all. There is a new address up but the address used before for the transfer is still there but not showing anything. The transaction ID is here https://blockchain.info/tx/b42d681c7ef09c9c5ab4c3ab8b5f55e2d7efa4a72dd5f9cca501e77d33eb6315

It’s been a couple of days already. I’m worried.
