Please give advice.

A friend has $30,000 and is new to the crypto environment, he is looking to invest all in bitcoin or split the money among promising Altcoins or just one altcoin.

What do you have to tell my Friend, if you say he should split the money and invest in many altcoins, please make public the altcoins you think have a very promising future.

well, 30K usd is a good amount of money,
so, its better to split his money to bitcoin and altcoins
for example 30% going to bitcoin then about 60% going to top altcoins, such as binance coin, cardano, polkadot and ethereum my friend
and the rest going to stable coins such as BUSD, USDT or others
if your friend want to invest in a new altcoins, he must doing a deep research first mate

Considering the fact that he is a newbie to this environment, I think making an investment is the first thing he should do. It would be best if he will familiarize himself on this platform first and learn the process so that he can make his own decision depending on the knowledge he will have. If he is really eager to make an investment, maybe he should not go all out and spend all the money he currently have on investment. Indeed, time is of the essence but it will all go to waste if he will carelessly invest without having any proper information on this new place he is entering. Time might be essential but knowledge and wise strategy should also be considered important on this platform.

Your friend should split the money into two 50% investment on some promising altcoins that can pump 5x or more this can done by doing a through research out of the numerous altcoins in coinmarketcap thus by picking three to four coins, with good and promising project while investing the remaining 50% on Bitcoin but should wait for any many pullback before investing in it this where profit is most guaranteed.

it is too little for your friend to invest your money into Bitcoin but given the fact your friend is a new guy in this space, this is understandable for your friend to choose it.
for beginner, the most important thing for them is not profit but knowledge and feeling.
if you do not know what is going on with your investment and you do not have a feeling something about to happen after reading a lot of research, it is going to hard to survive in this kind of space.
intuition is one of the key success in crypto, it comes from practice and learning. so I suggest your friend to invest in Bitcoin as his starting point or at least Ethereum. no more than those 2, the rest are very volatile.

You want the best advice.

Someone who has a lot money but doesn't know the reason why he/she should put the money to the coins he wants to buy is not suitable to do an investment. That's the simple reason, If you ask to other people they will give you some answer because of their bag but doesn't mean is good for you can be he was buying on the dip. IMO, 30,000$ was a lot money if you don't know how to a research even a simple research better to avoid any kind investment.

If your friend gives much priority to Bitcoin then I think with this $30000 amount your friend must focus on buying BTC at least $22000 worth of BTC would be fantastic remaining $8000 would be perfect to buy some quality altcoins like ETH, ADA, BNB, Link etc. these altcoins are very capable in both technical and fundamental basis so they may be a suitable choice for your friend.

If that money is free money that you do not use for anything, you can split for $15k to buy bitcoin and the other $15k to invest in an altcoin. The altcoin you can buy is ethereum, bnb, litecoin, trx, ada, dot, okb, cro, and many others. You can also pick 5 altcoins for the investment and do not use them for trading. Just buy and hold. But if you want to use that bitcoin and altcoin, you need to manage for some amount to be used for trading, so you still hold the rest for the pump that can happen anytime.

If he is new and is asking this type of question ... he will not be able to spot "promising Altcoins". There are like 10 promising altcoins out of 10 000 listed on coinmarketcap. Most likely will be scammed. I suggest to wait for a dip and buy bitcoin (the best advice for amateur would be to miss this bubble, wait for bear market, wait 2-3 years of bear market and buy that day)
