Cotton Linen Substrates can be found on sites such as Alibaba. On larger quantities, they will even offer to customize watermarks and add various basic features.

The issue is; as we found out- is that 1) the industry is purposefully very difficult to navigate and find a good price to quality ratio.

Additionally 2) sourcing from China can be quite risky. There are various examples of Cold Storage Holograms being leaked into the market.

How can you protect your product from a company that could notice the profitability... and simply start selling your product themselves?

We are open to discussing with you further.

EDIT:

Some examples of what I mean...

There will be a lot of people here who will vouch for Polymerbit, they are the market
leaders in crypto cold storage banknotes.

Its interesting to hear you want to create some notes of your own design, for the
stock Cotton/linen mix it sounds quite specialised which mwans you are going to be
looking at outsourcing the production.

Keep us up to date on your progress.

Thank you very much. I appreciate you and the others pointing me in the right direction. I will definitely keep you guys updated on it's progress.

And yes you are very right this project will probably have to be outsourced. After talking to polymerbit last week as I mentioned I got a really good feeling about building a relationship with them. I would honestly consider it a collaboration, instead of outsourcing. That's how much of a good "vibe" (I guess you could say) I got just from the short conversation we had.

Thanks everyone for the good references to Polymerbit.

I'll second that, having two myself, and having seen them in person.  I'd say they are actually higher quality than US bank notes.  Can't speak on ones outside the US though.  Just absolute top quality though.

Exactly how I felt. These cold wallet bank notes have higher quality security than alot of FIAT paper currency. Quality is amazing, and I feel safe storing my crypto on them because of their wallet address and key process.

polymerbit would be a good guy to talk to - they make banknote quality bills. Now if he sees this post, I am sure he will chime in Smiley

Hey thanks man. As a matter of fact I did recently purchase a couple from polymerbit, and he let me
pick his brain a little bit. Polymerbit is definitely an option for me. Thanks again!

The last couple of years I've been working on original designs for some Bitcoin Cold Storage wallets in the style of a bank note. I've been collecting Cold Storage wallets like physical bitcoins and banknotes for years. Of course any Bank notes I personally purchase and collect or 100% legitimate considering there's a lot or rather a ton of so-called collector's items for cryptocurrency but they're not legit they're not actual Cold Storage Bank Notes for or Coins which is where they stole alot of original designs from in the first place.

Anyway I'm at the point right now where I would like to have a few prototypes printed. I'm exploring a few different options I can go as far as printing and authentication. But I don't just want to print them on regular paper. what I would like to do is print them on high quality cotton linen mix that are rated for currency. I know that's not just something you can print and have that type of paper in your basement. But I really want to have a good product of good Quality that people will want. Definitely not planning on mass producing anything. There will be a limited number of each addition of crypto banknotes.

I want to have all the great security features that I can have on these banknotes and I know that it's possible because I personally own professionally made Bank notes that are Bitcoin Cold Storage and they have multiple security features not only protecting the private key but also forgery and copying countermeasures. I would also have features to protect branding and authenticity.
The private keys would have to be on a dedicated system completely cut off from the internet and everything would have to be destroyed after the keys and address is transferred to each banknote. As for the issue with trust as far as keys and wallet addresses I would personally provide some type of proof that all keys and addresses were destroyed after their creation. I would also have a couple of documents made, backed by a lawyer or a notary. For example one of the companies who makes one particular Bitcoin banknote has legal documentation to a company every banknote stating who made the keys on what date time how they were created and that they were destroyed both in a responsible and safe manner.

I know that there's a lot of people out there who feel that a Cold Storage Bank notice really useless and pointless and has no real type of use case but it is a cold storage document that's what it will be used for.  Plus as I said earlier I will only be creating a limited number of each addition I would issue, according to that cryptocurrency and year.
Also it really is just a niche item for other people such as myself who are really into different types of physical Cold Storage, and not something that would be connected to a computer or digital in the sense, like hardware wallets.

Hope to hear from you guys!

I would love and appreciate any suggestions advice even criticism as to what you think I should do or shouldn't do. I'm always open for advice
and knowledge from other people who are more educated than myself. Is there anybody that would suggest where I might be able to purchase materials I would need for the short-term in order to produce a few prototypes? I've looked into currency type paper (near impossible to actually find) like 75%cotton 25%linen mix, Polymer (not sure if that's something that can be created locally), and waterproof+tear proof Teslin Laser Jet paper. I'm leaning heavy towards Teslin for the prototype. I think the most expensive part of creating these will be the security features in any special inks I would use.
