John McAfee just said Bitcoin Outdated and Loves Ethereum. Is that a real interview. If yes, what are you thinking that, why he said that.
He is afraid of his word which he had said 2017!
If you didn't see you can see the interview.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1yi35uBCrqo

Do you still believe in him? he don't have a credibility since he's reputation is so shady for now for promoting various scam tokens and predicting bitcoins to go millions, and now he counter he's prediction to fud ethereum?

Better move up and un follow him in any platform since he cannot give you a clear information  since those prediction given just for his own benefits.
Dont know if there are still people who do believe into this troll.Everyword that do comes out into his mouth doesnt really give out any relevance here on crypto space.

He had already that funny reputation and majority do have negative insights towards him so its better not to take those words seriously and no matter what project he would
tend to shill out then its better to ignore it.

Seems like he do divert out communities attention just to forgot up that eating his own d*ck in national television deal?  Grin

I don't know why most of people are still believing these businessmen or capitalists, they are spreading the fake predictions in all the time just to achieve their goals or future endeavors, that's definitely a way for manipulating the community of crypto especially the beginners. In my opinion, if you want to success in this domain then you need to ignore these fake whales like, John McAfee and others like him, and just focus on yourself, you don't need any advise for the media news, they are all posting the fake information.

If he is not well known and trustworthy enough, I wouldn't mind believing in his words. I've read much already also that proves that he is not credible enough to make a statement that would change other people's mind. Most of his predictions and manipulation didn't work out from the past so it is much expected that what he is saying right now is just a theory. If only he has made much contributions in the market and has predictions that actually occurs, then we should listen to what he is saying as it may guide us to a better investment processes.

You still listen to that dude? I already stopped caring about what he has to say. He used to be a Bitcoin freak and kept making wild speculations, but unfortunately for him it isn’t working out as he planned so he became a full-time hater.

I saw his tweet when he said that he used the same strategy that was used to predict the bull run 2017 and he used that same strategy to make his 2018 and 2019 predictions and they were wrong so for that he made up his mind that Bitcoin is the worst cryptocurrency there is. I’m not surprised if he starts making same foolish predictions on Ethereum and ending up being disappointed as well.

He is wrong again, like many times, why would he make a prediction that bitcoin will reach $1 million this year if he thinks bitcoin is outdated.

John McAfee, who is he? Has he had any contributions to develop any cryptocurrency project and the cryptocurrency industry in general? Nope.

So why do we have to care what he said, about Bitcoin, Ethereum or whatever coins?

I am sucked that whenever I see a guy talk about an altcoin project, he/she will mention about bitcoin. Our altcoin is better than bitcoin. Sucked!

Bitcoin is our King. Outdated? The bitcoin protocol has been upgraded so many times and will be upgraded more in the future.

But I myself am more confident in Ethereum than in Bitcoin. Over the past 60 days, Ether has grown by more than 100%

You should look at things from a proper perspective

The fact that Ethereum has grown 2 times in the last couple months doesn't tell us anything about its past performance. But if you were to go deeper into its historical prices, you would see that before this rise, it crashed a lot more than that. Should I tell you that in January 2018 this coin reached an ATH of $1,448, and while Bitcoin is only down like 50% from its ATH of $20k at the moment, Ethereum is down more than 80%. Put differently, its price today is only one fifth of what it had been a little more than two years ago. So much for the recent 100% rise, huh

John McAfee is a drug addict, who changes his opinions about everything everyday.
His opinions and predictions about bitcoin are not relevant, never were and never will be.
He just got famous in the crypto world, because of his "1M bitcoin price or I'll eat my d*ck" prediction. Grin
We shouldn't care about clown anymore.Simply ignore his interviews, social media posts and Youtube videos.
His best time as a tech guru(by creating the McAfee anti-virus) is in the past. That anti-virus program freakin' sucked.

i don't care when people call bitcoin outdated but it always makes me mad when they pretend the exact copy of bitcoin is different and "new technology"!!! i mean even if you want to spread bullshit at least choose a shitcoin that hasn't copied nearly everything from bitcoin.
transactions, blocks, the cryptography, proof of work, even smart contracts (scripts) are copied from bitcoin then small changes were made and some stuff were added. otherwise majority of things are the same.

the fact is that ethereum is a well know centralized shitcoin that nobody cares about. all everyone wants from it is money from its pump and dumps. and in the middle of all this, only newbies are being fooled into losing money.

It doesn't matter what does Jhon say, because he will say the opposite thing later just as he does with bitcoin. We can't trust his word. At least this is some nice marketing for cryptos, but that's all.

He is not a good reference for bitcoin or for cryptos. So, just let him talk.

He is just a junk and manipulate person in crypto world. I remember couple of years ago he promoted some shit coin for his own profit. Although after some pumping dumping game he said that his twitter account was hacked. Well people are not stupid as you think John. Angry

Bitcoin not outdated actually he is outdated for crypto industry. People should abandoned those kinda people who manipulate others for their own advantage. Don't listen to his word it would be his trick to fill his own bag.

The guy is considered already a joke, a troll, a clown and is trying to make something to notice his actions in public. Everything what he is intended to do now or in the future is always considered as a joke. There's nothing new about him that would make us all believe since he officially backed out to his last bet that he would eat his own dick on national TV when his prediction about of the Bitcoin price failed.

I really don't know why people even bother what McAfee is saying,
People become attracted to respond because the media blows it up. All media know very well that McAfee is a controversial person, they want to take advantage of the situation. So, we cannot blame if some of us are responding to what McAfee's statement. Media leads or triggers us responding to it!

He is just spreading disinformation and confusing people and by sharing his words
And he also spreads misleading information to be popular. For me, McAfee is a truly bad man in crypto world.

Mcafee again. I thought this guy is done because only newbie takes his post seriously. There are hundreds of bitcoin influencers I know on twitter but Mcafee is one hell of a person that only looks for people to dance to his own tunes. Probably he may be thinking about how to pump ethereum or how much his influence has on the price of ETH. We all know that ETH too has been around for a long time, so saying bitcoin is outdated is a very funny joke. Although ETH blockchain has other related functions Bitcoin is not outdated

McAfee is changing his words all the time depending on the coins he owns. Didn't he launch his Ethereum-based exchange a few months ago? Oh, what a coincidence - now he shills ETH.. it's not like he earns fees from the exchange (which looks like a failure by the way), right? Grin

He's also promoting or running several ICO projects in the past, from the shadiest to not so great ones. I still remember where his pics were used by those crappy ICOs to fool customers and now they're rekt forever because those projects died.

Still can't believe people like him are being mentioned by media here and there.

I really don't know why people even bother what McAfee is saying, he proved so many times that is completely irrelevant when it comes to Bitcoin or.any other cryptocurrency.
He is just spreading disinformation and confusing people and by sharing his words and thoughts we are just giving him unnecessary attention so just don't do this.

Once McAfee was praised as he was positive about bitcoin and its level of adoption and the growth. To the expectation the growth took place to certain point. Further the growth hasn't happened, and started to show himself to the outer world through different challenges. Even after losing on the challenges he managed to show himself as the winner. This way he isn't considered as a person of legitimacy.

Each and every cryptocurrency user know about the potential of bitcoin and ethereum. In my view there is nothing big to analyse his statement, as he isn't that valuable for the cryptocurrency network.

Not that any other way he could have said it would have changed my mind about him but at least he could have come up with something better against Bitcoin. Why did he do this? Did he change all his btc for eth in some drunken Bahamas stupor?

It's strange that people continue to harp on the öutdatedness of Bitcoin tech but come on, Eth's interplanetary computer shebang hasn't exactly surpassed Bitcoin's sophistication. Faster/cheaper/newer doesn't mean better.

Frustrated or not John Mcafee will never stop, But I guess all we need to do is just move on with what kind of man he is predicting a 2 million worth of Bitcoin by 2020 is just his wishful thinking the price he wants bitcoin to land and there is no math or calculations in that but all wishful thinking his just riding its popularity just like all bitcoin wannabee pros,

In my opinion, Bitcoin is not outdated it is a more complex and highly innovated that update is no longer required John Mcafee doesn't know what he is saying and just a great pretender in what I am seeing he will surely make antics about Bitcoin every time it is in the bearish movement, But will keep his quite if the movement is in Bullish.

John love the money, that's all there is to it.

He used to like Bitcoin when people were asking him for interviews and were amazed by his Bitcoin predictions but then the bear market came and john's predictions didn't work out.

Altcoin pumpers hired him to support them so he liked altcoins and now even those altcoins removed him from their boards so he doesn't work for shitcoiners and can't go back to Bitcoin so now he's trying to be an ETH supporter. What a sad old man.

I had time to spare and tried to watch the entire interview but only managed half of it. It's like watching an animated character and I couldn't stand it anymore.

He's a fan of smart contracts and we all know ethereum is the one that started it. If there will be a newer tech that would come out, I wouldn't be surprise if he calls ethereum an outdated project too. One thing that's good there is that he said he's not a fan of xrp and hinted it's a scam  Cheesy

He is a paid crypto influencer, so everything he said should be taken with a grain of salt.

If bitcoin is outdated how come Ethereum hasn't overpower bitcoin? Yes the price of ethereum is getting better everyday but the price isn't even one forth of the current price of bitcoin so how can he say that ethereum is the new trend? Anyways, I don't know what is his basis of saying that and I don't really care what he says because for me, bitcoin is never outdated if ethereum will skyrocket to more than the price of bitcoin then that's the time I will agree that bitcoin is outdated.

Some things can never be outdated and one should understand that even if new technologies are coming and evolving the good thing with softwares are that they can be updated , this is why the old companies are still functioning and people actually trust the older companies more because ofc they have more idea of what they are doing.
I do think it doesn't matter how many cryptocurrencies keeps coming and going bitcoins will always be bitcoins.

How low can John Macfee go?
He abused the fact that he was a somehow famous person in cryptography ecosystem to promote scam projects . He earned lots of money that way.

You wouldn't even see the guy standing up to his words for a few minutes into a discussion, why even bother listening to him. He probably forgot to change the terms used. Bitcoin isn't outdated, he is. Ethereum is loved yes, he isn't. Sad life for this guy.

There's a lot other people we could actually take note of. Those that actually contribute to the scene and know which coins are shit and those coins which are loved.

At the time of writing, Bitcoin's last code commit was made within the last 24 hours, so I don't see how anyone of sound reasoning could call it "outdated".  If Bitcoin went for several months without any updates being made, then sure, it would be falling behind in the race.  But updates are made all the time.  Most coins wish they were as actively developed as Bitcoin.

People need to stop talking about John McAfee, he's an unhinged fruit-loop.
