Thank you!

At the moment it is worse than that  Embarrassed . The webpage with the payment details don't change at all (because in my mind, the user wouldn't leave the page open waiting for confirmations). I will see how I can add that extra step you suggested to keep the user informed.

Regarding the other functionalities, although I don't have the time right now to even consider implementing,  I appreciate the feedback!

Take cues from how Changelly or Shapeshit work. It too has a progress bar but not like those flash bars or the ones in games. What you are developing is truly the need of the hour where people start using Bitcoins and cryptos for little things as much as the big things.

If the webpage only changes after the transaction gets one confirmation, from a UX perspective, I would suggest changing it so there is a progress bar or a message indicating that the funds have been received and that the user must wait for one transaction before receiving his digital goods.

You could also start supporting (If not doing so, already) selling keys, invites and gift cards. Auto buy links are often associated with scams though, so implementing a trust/reputation system that cannot be easily abused should be implemented.

Hi all,

I've built a simple service to sell digital goods for bitcoin. Basically it allows to:

    1. Create a payment form for what you are selling (specifying the download link, ex. from dropbox) that generates a specific public link;
    2. Every time a “buyer” enters that form a new btc address is generated;
    3. A background process will check the balance of that address, and if balance equals the digital good price, a email is sent  to the buyer with the download link;

The product is really beta now so I would love to have some users testing it and give feedback to improve it.

It's free to try so if you think it is usefull give a try at www.bitformpayments.com .

If you are interested in the technical details you can check a explanation at

or buy a simpler version of the source code for a symbolic price (using the very same solution) at:

Hope it helps someone!
