Thanks for the names, all. It's useful to have an updated list of coin creators who are still active.

Also, a bit off-topic, but does anyone know who makes good physical ETH coins? BTC has some good options, but the ETH one seems like a niche within a niche.

I’ve sold several thousand coins here over the last 10 years (and 10x as many outside the forum). I think that may classify me as a coin maker. I’m also still pretty active around here (thanks stake.com). You can find the coins that are still in stock and available for purchase at https://nastyfans.org/mint - tell em Og sent you.  Wink

There are plenty more:

CryptoImperator still active and making incredible stuff. Follow here and twitter(?)
Kialara still active, last item was amazing. https://kialara.com/
Finite by design still active (the site is SLOW) https://finitebydesign.net/
The Shibe Mint sells everything as fast as they make it https://shibemint.com/
MrCryptoHodl here and on twitter seems to always put out amazing stuff
Liquidoptions makes the most under rated coins, funded, titanium and always super high quality. Usually makes something every quarter small releases
OgNasty and nasty fans has plenty available.

There are a lot of OGs still around.

I cannot figure out Spectrabit. Not trying to be snobby, but these feel mass produced and mass marketed, and I just do not understand mintage, who they are, the hologram that serves no purpose, etc. I usually feel like these types of coins, while great looking, detract from the value of the collectibles market.

Thanks for those links Steeley.

Kialara wallets are amazing works of art. I'm excited to see what comes out next. The price has gone up quite a bit though, I wish I knew about them when they sold the original ones, they were much cheaper then!

In my recent quest to get some nice looking modern physical bitcoins I've found out that most of the makers are long gone.
But there are a few out there that are currently still actively minting new coins, so I wanted to share them with the forum:

SpectraBit: 2021 Holographic Commemorative Bitcoin
https://www.amazon.com/2021-Holographic-Commemorative-Bitcoin/dp/B08TWDZTSH
This is a copper coin with silver cladding and 24k gold plating, designed and minted in the US. It's based on the original casascius design and has a nice looking hologram. It has no bitcoins loaded, or the ability to load them. It's a nice looking commemorative coin.
At the time of writing they still have stock available.

AlpenCoin: The First Swiss "Physical Bitcoin"
https://en.alpencoin.ch/shop
These coins are developed and created in Switzerland. They have nice looking holograms, and beautiful designs. They offer different options to choose from: funded, buyer funded, and DIY kits.
At the time of writing they have ran out of stock, but looks like they're going to continue minting more coins (hopefully!).

Cryptmint: Custom laser engraved QR code
https://www.cryptmint.co/collections/bitcoin/products/customized-silver-physical-bitcoin-wallet
This is an American mint that provides custom made physical coins with a QR code of your public key(or any text you want really) engraved. They give you the option of making your coin in silver or gold plated.
At the time of writing you're still able to make an order.

BitcoinPenny: Commemorative coins
https://bitcoinpenny.com/collections/coins
These are great looking commemorative pennies made in the US. They also have the option for DIY fundable coins with an awesome hologram. They're also planning to release new silver and gold editions.
At the time of writing they have ran out of all the pennies, but looks like they're going to continue minting more soon (hopefully!).

And that's all for now!, if you know of any other awesome bitcoin physical coin that is being minted as of today or in the near future, I would love to hear about it.
