If the number of BTC poker players gets equal to the number of $ poker players, the answer will be yes  Smiley.

Yap, that's the main point. It is still hard to find "real" btc poker players, in fact gambling with btc is safer (anonymous) than with fiat money which requires personal details.
And yeah it would be great to see a btc poker site as great as pokerstars.

I see and it makes sense. Probably with an user friendly  platform to convert usd to bitcoin with 1 click button could get the job done  Grin

I think a number of poker sites have already became available to btc poker players like casinojack and others, but I might be wrong.

If you are in the US and want to play poker for money, I would suggest trying to play poker for money using tor.  When you log in through tor make sure before you go on whatever website you would want to gamble on, make sure that you go on yahoo first... check what country they have you listed at at first and if its outside the US, you're good to go... if not, just reset your ip settings on tor and try it again until they have you listed as outside the US.

Good luck!  Cool

im not from US but i wish US player could play again with european people but thanks for the info anyway  Cheesy

The Real People Bitcoin Poker site is a superb idea which can boost Bitcoins as well as players like who are using Bitcoins and are willing to play poker with real peoples not with computer, its a great idea . If anyone comes with that idea 99% his site will be success. Until he don't want to scam.

I am a poker lover but only with real peoples, like me i have  a lot of friends who are also winning bitcoin poker site.

Best of luck who ever try and start a real people site.

i agree. success is guaranted. but it just require some balls to do it , and do it the right way without scams and other fancy stuff. Low rake  would be important aswell.

Hello guys.

It is possible someone build a big poker site like pokerstars and fulltilt old days based on bitcoin , and this could penetrate in every market without getting caught? If yes why no one build it yet ?

Thanks.

it is OK, cause betcoin is very big in btc world, thousands of players actively play there, but you need to invest a huge amount of money, which is difficult.

I dont think btc poker players will equal to real players out there. The most player I can see only 10k in btc poker but in real time player there is a lot and always full from morning to night. This is the different between btc player and real player. So my answer is no

That should be not recommended at all. Websites can detect if a user playing at their site is using some sort of shield to hide his true IP and if they find out that someone is using Tor or other such services, they might confiscate the user's funds until he's able to provide proof that he's not playing from a country from which the players are prohibited to play, such as US and those proofs may include user IDs etc. It's best to avoid such sites which do not allow players from your country to avoid any complications later.

The answer would be no, as online gambling isn't legal everywhere...

Also, you'd probably get more luck posting in the Gambling section.
