In the first quarter of 2018, bitcoin prices fell by nearly 50%. The slight rebound in the last two weeks has eased the pain caused by the sharp drop in prices in the first quarter. At the end of 2017, bitcoin prices hit a record high of 20,000 U.S. dollars.
In April this year, traditional Wall Street investors are also involved in the cryptocurrency. This shows that the tone of more institutional funds and talent inflows is having a positive impact on the recent market. As the market matures, important institutional funds will also flow into the cryptocurrency market.

Obviously since Bitcoins price had been increasing from $6k to almost $9k now it will eventually reach to a certain amount like what happened on November. It will soon reach again $20k but I can't say if it will be in 3 months or less, but I know for sure it will reach that price back again.

Within a few months Bitcoin will overcome the 14 thousand dollar response, and by the end of the year, it is going to be higher than the 2017 results.

It's been a tough few months for Bitcoin since the beginning of the year. Where do you see it going over the next few months? My money says it will be around $13,500. The market in general is still tied to Bitcoin, so a rise in Bitcoin's price will see it move up overall. I am hoping within the next couple of years (preferably sooner) that the market will start to move independently, but the fact remains that (like it or lump it) Bitcoin rules the waves for the moment.

$ 11,001 - $ 14,000 or up that's for sure

All traders and investors are bullish now. If there won’t be any large regulation attacks, BTC price can recover to $ 10k and higher. I want to believe in this and see $ 10-12 k per Bitcoin in the middle of summer.

Hi!

In this year Q1 was not perform well in bitcoin market. Due to more regulations and scams bitcoin market led to bearish market. Despite market tend to recover and try to achieve bullish market. Also when comparing previous years, Q2 performed well. In my opinion is that bitcoin price will be around 11000$ - 14000$ when 20th June. Because of market will prepare for its next Bull-Run. Many People will hope bitcoin will hit around 25k$ - 30k$ at the end of year. To achieve that target, Expecting 11000$+ mark at the mid of year is fair enough.Currently bitcoin price 8600$+

Thanks
Have A Nice day!

No, look here comes the little correction due to the positive fluctuation that we've been. Almost all alts are down and bitcoin is down by $200 today.

At present, Bitcoin has started to grow slowly though. However, with the volatility of the Cryptocurrency and Bitcoin markets, I think that in the next 3 months, Bitcoin will continue to grow but at a moderate pace. Bitcoin will not go up too high. Bitcoin will hit the highest level this year at the end of the year, I expect no more than 15,000 US dollars. So, in June this year, I expect Bitcoin will be between $ 8,000 and under $ 11,000.

Well that is true, bitcoin has started to grow slowly and also the other crypto are slightly recover from the last dip. I hope this year all crypto will be more powerful especially in bitcoin will have a expensive price, I hope bitcoin will reach $25k before the end of the year.

I think BTC can reach 20k$
You have very positive thoughts but I think it is not feasible. The peak of Bitcoin as late as 2017 will not repeat in 2018. The growth of Bitcoin will follow the sinusoidal graph. 2018 is the year Bitcoin will be relatively stable. If possible, Bitcoin will peak at $ 15,000 by the end of 2018. But Bitcoin will not reach $ 20,000 in 2018.

I am hoping than in maximum one month the price will begin to recover. I know it has been dropping a lot but for sure it will go back where it was
Yes, It will recover in one or two months but still peoples are afraid to invest in cryptocurrency. Because day by day it will down in the market. So some hike is need in current scenario then only everyone trust this coin. But I hope Bitcoin will reach reach 30k USD in this year.

We don't have exact predictions about the Bitcoin price but there is a chance the price of Bitcoin can increase in the second quarter of the year. We don't know how the bull market will run and at what price they will stop we have to wait and see.

So exactly one month in, and after a $2000+ drop, the price of Bitcoin is almost back up to where it was when I posted this. May not seem too great a performance, but the market seems to have steadied a bit and I am probably more confident now that it could hit the $13,000 mark. Next update in one month's time, hoping for more positive news.

You probably know that the number of bitcoins that can be mined is limited to 21 million. While governments print new money when they like it, the number of new bitcoins entering the market is tightly controlled and has a strict limit.

In my opinion, I think in 3 months bitcoin may reach $ 5000 - $ 8000 USD.Because recovery of bitcoin is poorly slow now. So we can't expect a quick growth within 3 months.

People are selling their BTC right now due to panic, unfortunately. Someone spreads a lot of FUD, probably in order to buy Bitcoin at a lower price - many famous people have attempted to do it and they usually succeeded. People are slowly becoming resistant to this but it might take some time before some people will understand it because more and more new people come here. I expect Bitcoin to be worth more than 14,000 dollars in the next three months. Many interesting things may happen by that time e.g. quickly growing adaption of Lightning Network.

I think its value will increase slightly over the next three months. Can exceed about 8000 to 11000 dollars. because the current value tends to decrease. Therefore, it can not develop quickly. I hope it will reach the highest level later this year.

I don't think bitcoin will fall for another three months. I think now the currency has stopped falling fast, it will be no lower than the price of $6000, the price is close to the cost price of the currency, if less than 6000 a day, I think the miners will stop

I see the bitcoin price going back to $11k - $14k in the second quarter of 2018. The people still likes the bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies as well. the only thing that is stopping people from buying bitcoins now is the instability of the market which I think the market will balance anywhere from April to May 2018.

I actually don't want to make a prediction anymore. The last time I said that the price is playing between 7000 to 7500, it actually dipped to 6500. Now, I don't know if that's funny or what.

Anyway, with the way things are going in the market, after this huge dip, I am looking forward and is hoping for the surge in price especially if the whale started loading bulks of coins in their wallet. This will increase in the number in demands again. Just hoping it will be soon.

it is very interesting to see how the market changes to make the impossible, possible!
by the time OP started this topic, prices like $7k-$6k were impossible because there were no indication of any drops and price was showing signs of sideways and mostly rise more than anything else. but the dumping and the manipulation accompanies with lots of FUD could successfully start the drop which then became unstoppable and make the impossible low prices a possibility!

at this point I no longer expect the big rise ($15k+ in 3 months) but also I don't expect bigger drops either. we have already seen ~70% drops from ATH twice.

How's the confidence in predictions so far? Market performing as expected or starting to get a bit nervous with the optimistic forecasts? So far everybody has predicted Bitcoin to be above $11,000 by June 20th. Possibly looking a tad ambitious with the way the market is moving at the moment.

It is hovering in 7 - 8k range from a long time now and I think it should be make or break from here. Mostly the price needs to move up as their a lot of people who would be interested in this price range but it need to start to give some confidence to investors by started to rise like last year.

Bitcoin is starting moving upward hope for the win.
Since the last three months, the performance of the bitcoin is not that much satisfactory and that the market value of the bitcoin was very much low at the start of this year. However, things have started getting better now and that the market value of bitcoin have started to recover. We can really hope for some very good increase in the market value of bitcoin soon which can help us in having more profit.

Well, I think that there is somewhat a pattern when it comes to the rise and fall of prices in the crypto world. Not pretty sure but it is what I have come to believe after looking at the past prices of bitcoins and other information about how it has been moving in some times of the year. This movement obviously affects the altcoins altogether. And with all the things that I have read, I speculate that $14k or higher is possible to be reached by june. If not, then it would be anywhere within this year. What I am sure of is that this will really happen before 2019.

Looking at the results of the vote, everyone is more optimistic. Maybe this emotion is reacting to this week's market. When everyone thinks that bitcoin will rise in the next three months, I think it is very likely that bitcoin will in 7K, 8K adjusted for several months, from the beginning of December last year, the price is falling, this trend should not rise immediately, I think the market will have a few months when no too many new investors to join, bitcoin is likely to continue to rise.

yes, that's what happened. the market is still tied to the rising and falling prices of bitcoin. this is what makes bitcoin a benchmark in every altcoin price.
and you should not be too surprised by this. this has happened from the first altcoin first created. but, in the future, everything will change whatever it is, I do not know. but it is likely the market will move independently without longer sticking to bitcoins.

I've noticed that 60% of people think that within the next three months, Bitcoin can set $ 11,000 - $ 14,000 because it's a stable number and it's not a very high number. If more positive information about Bitcoin appears, then it may reach a higher price.

I agree, its been really tough to see bitcoin going into a lot of wild swing, roller coaster ride that some of us felt uneasy and decided to quit for good and going as low as $5800 and $7500 respectively. I say that we need to get to 5 figures and see how resistance and or consolidation will affect the sentiments of the investors. Right now we are riding a 3 days price pump, but we don't know where the price could end because we all know how quickly the market sentiments changes. If we have somewhat sustained this rally around $11000 before seeing some resistance, then I guess that we can go as high $12000-$13000. But if we found resistance at early stage, then I say that $10000 will be a good estimate IMHO.

so far there has been a couple of huge dumps on the market and each of them proved that the bottom can not be lower than $6k and prices below $7k will not last long because of the current existing demand for bitcoin which you can call buy support although it doesn't show up on the order books.
so in your poll, options that are below $9k are impossible in my opinion because as time goes by the bottom also grows and comes higher so even if we see another huge dump at some point in the following 3 months we may not see lower prices anymore, unless there is some serious whale dumping starts.

additionally I expect a rise more than anything else because market is  currently showing all signs for it. and if that happens you can expect $15k+ in 3 months at least.

It'll surely come back over 10k but I don't think that it could go higher than 14k until June. If not by June, I guess it would hit well over 15k by the end of the year. But this time, it will not go down. It may get over the previous ATH until the end of the year but I guess it'll stabilize around 15k by then ed of the year.

We cant speculate on prices in such a short duration of time but BTC prices might improve from what it is currently. there are signs of recovery with the value slightly raising, but we cant say to what level it will go.3months is short period so all we can do is wait and see

Bitcoin will definitely rise in March, but it is hard to say whether it will rebound or fall. Now the bitcoin market is in a very strange wave.

That's not 100% true, but you are right in most cases. Why so many smiley faces?
It's not about predicting the market but more about recognizing good trading setups with a positive edge so that in the long term you win more then you lose (thus making a profit). And a lot of traders are doing this and are living of the returns. So that's subtly different. Nobody can accurately predict exactly where the price is going but general predictions can still be worth some investigation - so I don't think they are worthless. But saying "The price is going to X, sell!" and stuff like that definitely is worthless. Just a minor nitpick though, carry on!

3 months is really a long time in crypto charts and with the crazy price action of Bitcoin even a skilled technical analyst are sometimes dumbfounded on where will Bitcoin price go next. As of now research shows that peoples interest Bitcoin declined and the demand also lessen this year. I think the price will just slowly climb up which is Ideal rather than the price going to the moon and after a few weeks the price will go back crashing to Earth.

I think it'll be more than $14k by June, as it is recovering now and once passed $12k point then it can easily cross the $14k mark.

I could see it maybe getting into the $11,000 to $14,000 range in three months time, but it really is anyone's guess. I do think it will take some time to reclaim $20,000, maybe toward the end of the year or even into early 2019.

i am not sure where bitcoin is going to go but if price breaks above $12000 then there is a good chance that it starts rallying for good and fast. so it may get past $13500 pretty fast.

it actually can have the opposite effect too, since as bitcoin rises it also attracts all the money in the market so altcoins can drop harder.

as long as they are called "alt"coins and are created to pump and dump nothing will change

i never ever ever try to dare guess what the next all time high would be or when it will occur..
but looking at resistance point trends, mining costs, difficulty rise trends, etc. i would say right now $6k-8k is holding pretty well for a good LOW resistance points. and i can see possibilities of this being at $10k in a few months instead of $6k-$8k.

I think you are pretty spot on. There has been some serious selling pressure around the 12k mark and multiple attempts have led to declines (yes there has also been negative news or action which impacts price too). There is the chance that if a push happens to make it past 13-14 that the dumb fomo money comes flying in again and the chart takes a parabolic outlook but that seems unlikely. Maybe it could happen again in a few years when people have forgotten about it an go 'oh yeah i remember bitcoin' and buy truckloads (thats happened to lesser degrees). It seems to pop in and out of the public eye (I heard about it at Mt Gox time and then again in 2016). I see a more steady movement and possibly some consolidation mid year around 12-13k (leaving the Alt market to gain like the last few consolidation periods).

I would also really like to see a move away from bitcoin as a complete market driver for all cryptos, as this leads to a suggestion that without bitcoin you can not have ethereum etc. These are able to live without each other and yet every market move of bitcoin suggests the opposite. Maybe if the use case was the same this would be justified but they are pretty independent.

Although it has started to rebound, I believe that it is more appropriate for a stable rise. The price is not expected to rise too high. If it is soaring, then it will not fall even further

You do not have to be too frightened for the price of all this, I'm sure everything will come back in a very good price again, and the predicted $ 50,000 price will surely come true for the year 2018.
