Yes, it will send when page is closed. Server is checking price every 2min and mail all alerts after.Keep opened page somewhere only if you want to use "play sound" option.
This is all I wanted - just to fill that little gap in bitcoin projects

At first there was "bitcoin-alert.appspot.com", but now I've
moved to btc-alert.appspot.com which have that bug fixed.
So please move to that second one.
