I think not, the bitcoin price in December will be stable, unless hardfork will occur, and the volume reduction, the spreaidng weakens, the bitcoin will drop.

In the end of this month Bitcoin will hit=$18000
In the first month of 2018 Bitcoin will hit=$20,000
By the end of 2018 Bitcoin will hit=$57000
See you in Jan 2019 to see if I was right.

Your expectation seems too high, moving so fast might not be too good and possible as well.
The topic question even striked me as being new I wished to buy more on a drop, so it came into my mind.

Till now its pretty confusing what might happen but as per elders here saying many would sell to enjoy Christmas and New Year Eve. So lets see.

Do you think Bitcoin price will drop end of December? This might be two reasons:

1. The CME futures will start and people would be able to bet against the price of Bitcoin.
2. Bitcoin always goes Bearish end of the year. People take profits.
3. There has been a huge run up in the bitcoin price over the last month and we have not experienced a significant pullback.

what are your thoughts?
The third point you said might not be really true. I do agree with the first two points though. Bitcoin did rapidly increase in the last month hovering from $6000 to a whopping $11500 now which is almost double the amount. You say there was not a significant pullback while you can see that 29th November the price was at the peak of $11250 and suffered from a huge pullback and dropped to $8750 which is a drop of $2500. Does this doesn't sound to you like a pullback. The correction has made Bitcoin much stronger now and Bitcoin has become stable now at $11500. The price might fall a little down but then Bitcoin recovers every time and who knows what 2018 will bring to us. Grin

maybe but not because of the reasons that you said here.

Quote
1. The CME futures will start and people would be able to bet against the price of Bitcoin.
if you mean something like shorting bitcoin, they can already do that. and they have been doing it for a very long time. why do you think all this FUD has been spread with so much enthusiasm all these years? they were trying to make more money by shorting.

2. Bitcoin always goes Bearish end of the year. People take profits.
people always say this by the end of the year and the only thing that happens is a slow down not a drop nor a bear market.

3. There has been a huge run up in the bitcoin price over the last month and we have not experienced a significant pullback.
what do you call a "significant pullback"?
a 10% drop? it happens almost every two weeks!
a 20% drop? that also happens every step of the way.
a 30-40%  drop? that also happened multiple time all along the way from $200 up to $11,000. in fact every single rally has so far ended with a drop like that!
90% drop? why should that kind of drop happen? and why do you expect that kind of drop!

yes, usually when holidays are like year-end holidays, bitcoin prices always go down. and that's normal, because spreading and volume decreases. meaning that bitcoin sales are higher than purchases.

I think we will see a pump followed by a correction in jan.

Not sure if it happens end of month. The shorts could certainly pull it down.
