if we someday get a "pump" then price will go from $6k to $600k not to $20k-$25k that kind of small rise is what naturally happens not because of a "pump"! a "pump" is a manipulative increase of price which is unnatural and because of it, the rise will be big. for example you can see altcoins and how they get pumped every single day. their pumps are 100%-1000% within one day.

also another characteristic of a pump is the upcoming dump of it which means when it is pumped then it loses ALL that gained price because it was fake. in other words if bitcoin was a pump then it should have gone down to $1000 not stay above $6k!

I hope so, with the price of bitcoin right now and the way it moves. I think the highest that bitcoin will be about 15k. 25k is merely impossible for the next 1 year. All we have to do is wait and read some news about it.

This is an unregulated market so anything can happen. As we all know that last year how bitcoin prices went up.

Currently, Bitcoin is not able to reach 10K because there is no good news coming out about bitcoin to create demand like last year. So I believe it may take more time to reach that target price.

you are right, bitcoin will reach $ 25000, but not next year. I see it will happen at the end of this year after the correction end.

It's possible. Maybe in less than a year. Some people are arguing the same. Forbes magazine posted an article yesterday stating that as well. We'll see. In my opinion, if bitcoin breaks that price, it can still go further.

The probability of bitcoin to attain the 25K within the next year is also a possibility to happen. During the last Q4 of 2017, few people may have expected that bullish run had pumped that high, therefore anything can happen with bitcoin. As per observation, the current trend seems to be going up trend and hopeful that will continue to increase further.

And it surprises everyone but I think its time to watch another growth and more interesting for those who had hodl for up to 6 months

It is a realistic possibility to see another rally this year considering the past price charts, even last year the market was on a correction phase last year during May and June and everyone knows how the market went from that situation to $20 k, so anything is possible with the market and with the price now around $8 k and a good influx of investors in the next few weeks could move the market forward, let us see how the market reacts in the coming days.

Well everybody is interested in predicting the BTC price and everybody are expecting it to reach 25k price levels and some are expecting this price level to be reached by this year-end. Well, I don't think it is right to predict the bitcoin price and other altcoin price and share everywhere in social media which created a misguiding information for many newbies. I always follow the market and I don't try to predict it, because I follow the trend and other pro traders and then take my action and decision.

why $25k?

my opinion.

the OP picked $25K because of 2 reasons, either:
1. he bought at $12.5k and is currently losing and wants the community to say something that gives him hope he can double his money
or
2. he bought at $6.25k and wants the community to feed his greedy hope of quadrupling his money

i have seen many people scream out random numbers. not based on economics. but based on a multiple of the price they bought in at. hoping to see everyman and his dog agree with that first persons numbers to re-affirm the first persons investment risk

25000$ is a really less target as bitcoin has already reached 20000$ so the first thing for the price to reach all time high it has to beat its own previous record according to me this can be achieved by july max after than the price is going to have a uptrend and that will continue till end of the year like how it had happened in 2017

Oh, another speculation, but you didn't say why do you think it will touch $25K.
In my opinion it won't, all these regulations and tax are not good for price and on the other hand I don't think anyone will repeat the same mistake and buy it at high levels, lots investors have lost money and I am sure even if bitcoin goes near $20K level most of them will just sell it to recover money which will cause price to crash again(everything I said is one big IF).

I am not sure when you are getting to bitcoin earning and crypto works. If you came in the time last year December month. You will not say that bitcoin price cannot achieve this price.
Actually bitcoin potential expectation from the founder satoshi side is 10k USD in 2020. But we see this price already in the market. Hope we will easily find the bitcoin price bumped to 100k USD in next 5 years as seeing number of investors increasing.

"CNBC’s Brian Kelly Supports Tim Draper’s BTC Prediction Of $250,000 By 2022" That's todays cointelegraph article. As this/same like there are a huge prediction. I will be happy if really bitcoin touch the amount. So, nothing to say finale, in crypto world everything can be possible.

I believe this but now bitcoin price will increase and decrease simultaneously. Today bitcoin price hits upon $ 8000 but 6 hours later price again down $ 8000 .
